The hotel was excellent, friendly staff, room great size and very clean, the breakfast was really good. A little bit out of the way as you had to walk down quite a sleazy street to the main thoroughfare but only 5 minutes walk from the train station. I would recommend the hotel though and would have no hesitation in going back.

Very helpful and friendly staff with nice lobby and bar area. Unfortunately the rooms didn't live up to the expected standard with the rooms being small, noisy and out-dated. For example, most of the desk was hidden behind a curtain!

The Hotel Mediolanum is the perfect base for any trip to Milan. It is a short walk from the Milano Central Train Station - where like me you can hop on a train and explore beyond the city (across the border to Switzerland) or catch the Metro (subway) to get around the city. This is also where shuttle buses arive and leave connecting to the airports. The hotel itself was bright and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The continental breakfast is served daily and is a nice way to start your day. Just off reception is the bar and there you can purchase coffees, drinks, and bar snacks (the mixed grilled vegetables were lovely!). The room itself (standard double) gives space for two, had twin beds, 2 bedside tables, 2 chairs, a desk, large bedroom mirror, tv (good if you like your Italian soaps!), wardrobe with free safe for belongings, shelves and a mini bar. The bathroom has bath with shower. There are a few nice places to eat and drink near by and a supermarket should you need to pick up some odds and ends. The city itself is vast and I recommend a guide book to help you decide what to doI and how to find it. It was a fabulous trip and I will be back again.

good for what you get for the price!

Staff was very accomodating. Hotel is close enough to the station for walking but far enough away from the noise. We checked out at 5:30 a.m. to take a flight and were given breakfast boxes to go for our trip since the restaurant was not open yet.

We were in Milan in July and soon realized that the town is shut down except for stores with sale items. Most of the restaurants, shops, etc (especially from 1200 Saturday till AM Mondays) were closed so the locals could catch the sales. This had no bearing on my rating, because the hotel itself as great, except they had the oddest pillows I had ever seen. It took my neck a few days to recover...

Close to the train terminal, small to American standards. Hotel was clean, although the shower was a little small.

The hotel is very clean not only our room but also the lobby and the dining area. The staffs are courteous and helpful. The hotel is located near the central train and Malpensa Bus Station. One thing I was impressed about this hotel is the informations that they put together so you could easily go around the area (nearest restaurant, bus schedule etc.) I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and families. And I will stay here again next time I visit Milan.

Hotellet var et godt acceptabelt hotel som ligger tæt ved hovedbanegården. Hotellets personale var som sædvanlig italiensk stil meget hjælpsomme og i møde kommenden.

Posizione ideale per qualsiasi spostamento, molto centrale ma al tempo stesso tranquilla. Servizio ottimo, personale molto cortese e disponibile, hall molto curata e confortevole. Colazione continentale ricca, ma non ricchissima. Stanza molto piccola, con arredamento antiquato. Bagno sufficientemente grande e pulito.

Nyrenoverat, rent och snyggt

Hade en rigtig god oplevelse med dette hotel. Det eneste jeg kan finde at "klage" på er at elevatoren var lidt lille når man skal have en barnevogn med op på værelset.

Godt hotel centralt belligende i forhold til transport

Designhotell med bra läge till centralstationen med metrostation. Härlig frukostbuffé, trevlig personal.

När vi kom hit så visar det sig att det inte finns något rum till oss, utan vi blir förflyttade till ett systerhotell ett par kvarter bort. De lovade att standard skulle vara samma, bara annan stil. Och det kan man lätt säga... Det luktade rök från någon granne genom ventilation och inredningen var rätt sliten. De frågade om vi ville ha någon kompensation, föreslagsvis en varsin flaska coca-cola...! Det positiva var att det fanns möjlighet att parkera bilen i garage som visserligen kostade 20 eur. Summa; en besvikelse och inte i klass med 4 stjärnor som de har tilldelats (eller tilldelat sig själva).

Ganske udmærket hotel, anderledes stil/smag og et rent og ordentligt sted til en fornuftig pris. Eneste ulempe er at det ligger lidt for langt fra Domoen, shoppingområderne og de gode restauranter. Hvis man foretrækker at gå alle steder som os, kan man godt få ømme fødder.

Camera piccolissima, con arredamento originale, probabilmente risalente agli anni '70. Rumoso, sia internamente, che dall'esterno. Impianto di climatizzazione rumoroso e poco efficace. Colazione di scarsa qualità.

de lobby is mooi en modern. de kamer was op de 3e verdieping en op de 2e verdieping waren ze aan het verbouwen waardoor om 7.45 langzaam verbouwingslawaai opsteeg naar onze kamer. de buren hoorden we niet. het interieur van de kamer viel erg tegen ( oud met een nieuw liktje verf). mensen die van retro hoduen zullen het helemaal geweldig vinden. De kamer was schoon en elke dag werden de bedden verschoond. En ook de badkamer werd goed verzorgd. Het onbijt was basic maar voldoende. Hotelpersoneel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De auto wordt voor je ergens in een garage geparkeerd ( tegen kosten) en op wens weer voor gereden.
