The location of the Hyatt was rather far away from anything except O'Hare. We had to walk a few blocks to the train or pay a cab to get to anywhere to eat. Not much within walking distance. The staff at the hotel was VERY helpful and polite, while the restaraunt staff left MUCH to be desired. Overall, I would stay there again, but would find other arrangements for meals.

The Hyatt was a beautiful clean hotel. When we woke up and tried to take a shower the shower did not work and the sink in the bathroom was somewhat stopped up. Since we were getting a flight out it was too late to do anything about it. We will probably not stay there again.

"Poor choice"

Very expensive (breakfast, parking, internet, etc.). Every service paid. Promotion (business plan) not honored unless asked / begged for. Poor business service (printer / fax / copier) - it took 20 minutes one morning to print one sheet of paper, and two sheets of paper were printed just for receipts. Key cards did not work twice. It is worth staying in a 2-star Holiday Inn Express or similar and driving to the location, plus paying for parking, rather than staying in this hotel.

Overall the hotel was nice. I just don't understand why for the price that you pay, everything is extra. Parking is extra, intranet is extra. A lot of the cheaper hotels include these in teh cost of your room. Overall tho the staff was very nice and the hotel is nice.

I had read past comments about the Hotel standards and was somewaht skeptical about booking at the location given the cost and value. However, I did book and was pleasantly surprised that the entire hotel has undergone major upgrading and it showed very well. The Staff presented themselves professionally and helpful in all aspects. My room had been completely renewed and had all of the creature comforts one would expect from the brand. I would strongly recommend the Hyatt Regency O'Hare for business, pleasure or whatever when coming to the Chicago area.

I booked a double beds room for 2 nights two months before we arrived. When we got there, they said the only room available was a king bed. We had to argue with them to get our double beds. Make sure you check your final billings. They charged mini-bar and phone calls that were never made. Again, you need to argue with them before leaving. Not too pleasent!

Extreme bargain rate is tempered somwhat by charges for things that lesser hotels consider standard. ie Parking, no free breakfast, internet, pricey restaurant. On the other hand, the newly remodeled room was superb, widescreen TV, great linens, upscale modern furnishings.

The room and guest services were fine. The wireless internet was pricey. The food at the in hotel areas was also steep. There for a conference and not much time or available car. Spent twice as much for food and drink than normal.

Recently I stayed at the Hyatt O'hare and was not very pleased. they failed to inform us that they were doing construction on the hotel and put is in the room directly above the construction, which started at 6am. After that I had somebody coming to my room at 9am to check the mini bar, which was unnecessary because i later found out that the mini bars are weight censored and anything you take out will automatically be charged to your room bill. Also I keep finding charges on my credit card bill from the hotel for items that i never purchased. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody who likes to get a good night sleep.

The staff was wonderful, from Nick the airport shuttle driver, the front desk staff and everyone else. The room was very comfortable and we were able to relax between flights. Definetly one of the better ORD airport hotels. Proximity to ord was also a plus.

Excellent hotel except for inconvenient parking procedure. There is an extra charge for parking. Validating our parking ticket to allow departures and returns to the parking garage was a confusing procedure.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare for a conference. It was a wonderful stay from beginning to end. The greeters at the front desk were so kind and willing to help.

This is a nice hotel. I found it a bit expensive plus you have to pay for parking. It makes checking in a bit cumbersome. The room was in one of the round towers. This made for a small bathroom. The rest of the room was nice. the hotel is nice.

We were going to the convention center for a show and the Hyatt was the perfect location. The facility was beautiful, the staff efficient and friendly, the restaurant and lounge great. The fact that we did NOT have to go out in the 40 below wind chill to get to the convention center was the icing on the cake. Would certainly go back even if there were no show.

The Hyatt Regency O'Hare was half the cost of the O'Hare Hilton, very easy to get to (they shuttle back and forth every 15 minutes), the front desk staff and everyone I met were incredibly pleasant, the room was perfect and very comfortable, and made my whole trip easy and no hassle. For the business traveler, a perfect choice and much less expensive than any of the neighboring hotels. Another review complained about restaurant and in hotel shops like coffee shop. The restaurant was great and had a range of items at a range of prices. The coffee shop on the first floor was perfect and service there was good too.

I hadn't been to this hotel in a while, and alot has changed! First off: Knuckle's Sports Bar and eatery is gone and you are stuck with two choices for overpriced food and drink: The mini bar in your room (with stale beer and snacks), and the Red Bar; A pretentious, stuffy, yuppie joint! I ordered breakfast from room service. Once again, I got overpriced and substandard food and beverage! Speaking of beverage, they used to have the best mocas, now it is replaced by plastic Starbucks (with more foam than moca). I should have just stayed at an Extended Stay and cooked my own food and brought my own beverage! Not to mention, the thermostat in my room didn't work!
