I was looking for a hotel near the staples center. This was a hotel near the staples center.

Wow the hotel was great. Nice and clean. No complains.

I loved the hotel! The only flaw was that the valet closed at 11pm and we had to park the car ourselves, but we were credited the valet fee! The hotel is great, comfortable and I will recommend it to my friends and family!

The hotel is connected to the mall. The parking is quite expensive. The self parking was $28 dollars. This is a daily fee. As the front desk person to get a day pass for parking so that you can go in out of the parking structure. We had a corner room which had a great view. The room amenities were average. They charged $6.00 for a 1 liter bottle of water and also charged $3.50-3.75 to bring up wine glasses to the room. The bed was comfortable. It seems they charge for everything even the use of the computers in the lobby. Complimentary service would have been nice but it is LA.

We made our reservation well in advance for 2 queen beds. Even after checking in early, they didn't have a room for us. We were put in a suite with a roll-out. It was by the elevator!!! Though we love their beds, the service and accomodations this trip were sub-par.

Perfect location for reason for visit. The room was nice and comfortable (pillows were excellent!), the lobby was very well kept, but the hallway in the floor we stayed on was a little run down

I stayed there because I was attending a conference held there. Hotel was what I expected from a downtown Sheraton. Second morning - Saturday - there was no hot water. Notified the front desk, they "would talk to maintenance". No follow up, not even a "we're sorry". Parking is $28 per night.

This hotel is your typical sheraton. The decor needs updating, and they use polyester bedding, which I hate. There are enough other hotels in downtown LA, including both niche players and big corporate hotels, that I wouldn't choose the Sheraton again.

Nice room. Very good service. Comfortable beds. Good location--attached to a small mall, including a Macys. Across street from a Metro station. Not much of a view--just the building next door.

The positive things of the hotel would be that it is very comfortable. The bed is very comfortable. Though, the negative things are that the self parking is 26 dollars and the valet is even more per day, also that they don't supply you with things in the bathroom. For example, a toothbrush. Also, i wouldn't recommend this hotel because of the terrible location. It is in downtown LA and it is far from everything. The Santa Monica beach and Venice beach is about half an hour away with the traffic and it is 20 mins away from beverly hills and rodeo drive, and 30-40 mins away from hollywood. Also, at night it can get a little scary so, i don't suggest going out at night around the hotel area.

I booked a 4-night stay for a corner king suite. However the hotel was oversold and I was relocated to a hotel several miles away for 2 of my 4 nights. This basically left me with no option to get to my conference other than taxi, which was an additional and unexpected expense. The hotel staff was very helpful with this problem, though it never should have happened at all. The other hotel was nowhere near the quality or comfort of the Sheraton, and the location was not acceptable for the purpose of my travel.

My family and I went there for the LA Marathon, on Memorial day weekend. The view was amazing, the room comfortable, and the location was a block away from the starting line. My daughters enjoyed being so close to the metro system and its convience to travel. I hope to have the same room next year (2426) and (1610), great experience. The bar had amazing food, service and atmospher, even at midnight. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Consider us there for next years race.

Small, old TV. No room safe. Only two bath towels. Noisy air duct. Low water pressure and shower not hot enough. No refrigerator in room. For the price, and the Sheraton reputation, I expected a little more.

Check-in at front desk was terrific and even though rooms booked with services like expedia.com could only be on certain floor, very kind man at front desk was very helpful and got a room on a higher floor and in a quiet are. Didn't care about the view as we just wanted a good nights' sleep - room is perfect for just that. Simple, elegant, very fairly prices and overall a great stay.

They don't tell you that parking was 28 bucks! As a diabetic, I require a fridge for my insulin, that was an additional 35 bucks. between the parking and fridge, I PAID DOUBLE for a room that was way below what one would expect from a Sheraton, The walls are paper thin and you can also hear all the street noise. The t.v. only had one channel that was half-way clear. The location is great during the day, but come nightfall, I was terrified! I will NEVER stay at this place again, the worst room I have ever been in!

The room itself was very old. Cracks on the floor, carpet is warn and old, some stains. You can hear everything threw the walls. The view was the worst I have had in any hotel.

The towels were full of someone elses lipstick and the gym that was available to us had very old equipment that was falling apart.

The location of the hotel was good. The lobby, restaurants and adjacent parking were good. The room accommodations were subpar for the price, and I thought, for a Sheraton Hotel. I was disappointed, and will never stay at this hotel again.

Hotel staff was very accomidating and friendly. The room was clean and we had a great view of downtown Los Angeles. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in LA.

My stay with hotel was horrible. So horrible, that I stayed another night at a DIFFERENT hotel. The staff was not helpful with anything and the surrounding area of the hotel was just awful. I asked many questions and got few answers, answers that this staff should have known. Not once was I asked, "How was your stay" even after I had to switch rooms because of the filth in my room. Even then the Manager didn't say sorry. Don't come to this hotel if you don't know the surrounding area because the staff won't help you. The pedestrians outside the hotel told me more of the area and how to get somewhere better the the Hotel Staff. Just Horrible.

The Room was nice overall, there was a lot of construction going on when we went, but it was still nice. The only thing is if you plan on getting drinks at the bar bring your wallet, they were a little overpriced. Other than that room service was wonderful as well as the food. And the room was very comfortable.

The service was excellent. Every single person I dealt with was outstanding. The lobby and bar area was very nice, but the room needed a makeover. The description said this hotel had been recently updated but it looked to me like that meant new comforters. The bathroom had peeling paper and rusted vents. The TV was "old style" and on top of a small chest with no room to set anthing down. One small chair and small round side table did not provide enough space to even drop your packages. The plug and/or lamp did not work. Overall the room was dissappointing and not worth the price.

This hotel, like so many other big-city Sheratons, is adequate. There's a nice bar and a small area with free internet access. However, our room was older with stains, peeling wallpaper, etc. When we checked in, the sheets on one of the beds had a blood stain on it. While this is within easy walking distance of the Staples Center/LA Convention Center/LA Live area, we were cautioned against walking it at night. I have no major complaints but no raves either. If you can get a really good deal, you will be satisfied.

We stayed three nights and were very favorably impressed with the Sheraton. The room was very quiet, the service excellent and the location very convenient to the event we attended at the Staples Center. We'd come back again!

This Hotel was perfect for us. We were in LA for a show and it was easy to get a cab and everyone was very nice and helpful. I would definetly stay here again. The only downside was the cost of parking. It was a little pricey.

Stayed at the hotel during the Pac 10 tourni. It was within walking distance of Staples Center which was good and the hotel validated the parking which was amazing since parking in LA is a disaster. The room was nice but to be honest I was expecting something a little nicer. The bathroom was small but clean. They could definately use a technology upgrade i.e free internet access and a nicer T.V. Staff was friendly. Overall if youre looking for a decent hotel in the downtown area the Sheraton Downtown wouldnt be a bad choice.

The hotel was overpriced and the staff were inefficient and at times, rude. We waited over two hours for extra towels and blankets and were never even given a courtesy call to explain why, even though we called three times. The price for parking is exuberant and misleading. In addition, the hotel layout is confusing and not guest friendly. The valet parking is on the lowest level, but nobody bothered to tell us that so we went up to the street level. Overall, I was totally unhappy as were the adults who accompanied me.

The reservation was made for 2 beds instead we got one king size bed. They said they were fully booked for the 2 - full size bed category. The alarm came on at 12:30 am and couldn't get good sleep. They came and fixed it in less than 10 minutes, so this was good. It's a Sheraton and I expected more for my money.
