I was delightfully surprised to find that the room was very quiet. We were on the 8th floor and had a view of the airport. We could not hear a sound from outside. The sleep # bed was incredible. We ordered room service for breakfast and dinners. The meals were delivered in a timely fashion and were hot. The food was outstanding, better than I expected. My only complaint was that there were no washcloths in the bathroom. The following day we had neither washcloths nor hand towels, luckily we had bath towels. We also didn't care for the pool. It was not located in a convenient area of hotel and there was no hot tub.

Overall the hotel was great. They did need a more diverse selection of pillows but that's not a big deal. There were 4 elevators but only 2 worked and were not certified. Apparently the hotel almost filed bankruptcy and were spending their money on a parking garage instead of fixing the elevators (or so I heard from another guest). Housekeeping was not very consistent with towels. My sister stayed there too and did not have any towels in her room when she checked in. On our 3rd night there we only received bath towels (no wash cloths or hand towels). On our 4th night we didn't receive ANY towels and it took them 4 HOURS to deliver us some! They have a sign that says if you don't want to reuse towels to put them in the tub although they took the towels no matter where they were even if you wanted to reuse them. Also, they are sparse with their soap. You get 1 bar. Apparently that's suppose to be sufficient for the sink and the tub because they don't give you a body wash or anything else for the tub. Other than that it was a nice hotel.

We were told we were getting a two queen bedroom and got a one king bed. We were promised the USA Today newspaper in the morning and didn't get it. Other than that, the room was great and the service friendly and efficient.

As of August 2009 the upgrade of facilities is ongoing - so expect some disruption. For example if you are prepared to wait longer than usual for an elevator to be available then you may feel that competitive rates represent good value.

Location was good in the shadow of the LAX sign and price reasonable. Quiet for an airport location. Van is shared with Crown Plaza, meaning it can be full in the morning before stopping at Radisson. Next van 20 min. Housekeeping left only 1 bar of soap, no drinking glasses, no coffee pot or coffee. Had locate cart to drag luggage to room at 10 PM arrival, but they would not allow use of cart in the AM. Wonderful gal at Concierge desk!!!

We were only staying one night before flying to Hawaii. Everything was extremely nice and it was located very close to LAX. Our only complaint is that they had NO parking available and we were forced to pay for valet. Otherwise we would have given it 4 stars.

The Radisson was an overall great hotel. The only thing I can say bad about it is its parking structure is under construction so there is limited parking. Otherwise the rooms are nice the staff is excellent and the area aroung it is ok.

Typical room in a clean property conveniently near LAX. They didn't answer phone when I called from airport to ask for van. No water glasses in room, no coffee pot or coffee (although concierge said there should be one),bathroom counter too low, plastic over windows obscures views (although great sound barrier), use a combined van with Crown Plaza, resulting in full vans and travel delays. No bellman at night, but in the morning would not allow us to use cart. Hint: Just keep the cart in your room if you are just there overnight. Good Internet WiFi. Over rated.

Nice hotel, rooms are great for the room rate. Expect to pay valet parking fees. No self parking. May have to wait a while for valet service due to hotel congestion. Meals at the hotel are very expensive.

When we arrived at this hotel, the room had no soap, no towels, and was shabby condition. It appears that the hotel cleaning staff was under-staffed.

Room was a little dusty. Sleep by number beds didn't work. Got two doubles rather than a king that I requested. Room amenities were rather spare. Room service charges expensive. Internet was unreliable.

My stay was for business and even though the room was great the resturant was very over priced. We then decided to order room serve and a 13.95 burger came out to 27.00 which is just ridculous. Our state per diem is only 18.00 so I was out of pocket. I was not very happy with this.

I really appreciated and enjoyed this Hotel.Everyone treated me and my dear friend with respect and love. As soon as I arrived to the Front Desk, I received great customer service.. All my expectations were satisfied. The food in the restaurant was excellent! The Hostess and the waiter did a superb job.. They displayed respect and honor. I just loved the bed.. It was so comfortable.. I want to come back to this Hotel, soon..

Nice, clean hotel with great location...no way I would pay $20(plus tip) again for valet parking, it should be free or with a discounted price, I wouldn't recommend the hotel because of that issue.

Price was fair for an airport hotel but the place should have been remodeled 20 years ago or more, non-smoking room stuck of years of smoke. also airport shuttle was over stuffed and i had to take a cab.

We stayed on evening because we had an early flight from LAX. Great location and with their shuttle service, we were at the terminal within minutes. Checking in was difficult because we had a rental car and they were really pushing their valet service. The room was quiet for an airport hotel and the beds were comfortable.

NIce people. They are doing remodel work while the property is open. Elevators were a real problem. There is insufficient disclosure about what to expect as an experience for the stay. Explains why rates were so attractive.

Room was clean and comfortable.Staff was friendly and accommodating. They are currently building a parking lot, therefore, self parking is available in adjacent lots. It can become very inconvient. Valet parking is expensive for people trying to save using Hotels website. Riding the elevator is a concern. It would create various nosies and open before reaching its floor.

Despite being mobbed when I first arrived, service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The overall hotel decor and the room were attractive and clean. The food at the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is right by the airport and planes landing close by were visible from the window, but not a sound could be heard; the room was remarkably well insulated. Totally a positive experience, and remarakable for the rate.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and great service. The price of the room was very good. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was excellent. We all had seafood and it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely stay there again.

This was just an overnight stay prior to catching an early morning flight home - served this purpose well. Hotel undergoing some renovations at the moment. Very convenient for the airport.

Incredibly convenient due to the fact that we had a very early flight the next day. The hotel is not new, but it is nicely kept. I wish there would have been other dining options than just the one restaurant, especially because I had two small children, but it was okay nontheless. Windows in room were extremely dirty on the outside. I imagine being next to the airport does not help, but you could hardly see through the window it was so filthy. Overall, a very good choice if you need to stay near the airport.

We found the staff at the Radisson Hotel LAX to be warm and professional, going beyond the call of duty to make our four-day stay an absolute pleasure. From the bell hops and the front desk to the cleaning staff, from the restaurant to the coffee shop, the people were wonderful. The redecorating is lovely.

Construction didnt bother us at all. Everything was close by like santa monica and venice beach. Price of the room made up for $20 valet a night. Overall stay was great.

Due to hotel construction, the only parking option was valet - which is understandable but the valet service was understaffed and slow. We ordered a sleep number bed, yet one was not available. Top level restaurant was not open.

Convenient to airport, but for the price not worth it. Have stayed in other hotels on same street and would rather have paid the $10 to $20 more to stay at one of these again. Will not stay at the Radisson again. Most of the elevators out of service. Rooms dingy and old with little soundproofing to interior of hotel. Man next to me singing at top of his lungs around midnight. Called the front desk to complain,they said they would send someone. 20 min later called again, they said he was a recording artist who would probably be finished soon. Grumpy and tired and they wouldn't change my room and no effort to make it up. Very unhappy with the experience.

I did not like the parking situation. You either had to pay $20.00 for valet parking or find a place behind the hotel. This was not a good thing to do in L.A. in the middle of the night so I had to pay the $20.00. The valets were not very efficient at night -- much better in the morning.

I arrived at this hotel at 3PM and tried to park my car and was told I had to walk 7 blocks away for an open parking lot I had to pay for! The parking was all taken up by long-term parking stays for the airport. I have never been to a hotel that didn't provide me with a place to park nor would do anything to accomodate me with this matter!
