Great hotel - I used to live in Boston so knew the location and hotel well. I didn't know the main floor was being renovated though when I booked. It really wasn't an inconvenience but was a surprise. I have to comment though that it was THE most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We didn't want to get out of bed!

The Marriott at Copley Place is comfortable, convenient to downtown and the nearby Back Bay Amtrak station, all for a reasonable price. I felt I got what I paid for and spent a very easy night there.

Walking distance to everything. Staff very helpful and friendly. Overall very happy with stay. Hotel does need some updating which they have begun.

Excellent stay, convenient shopping, great restaurants nearby, walk to Fenway Park, walk to Boston Commons, walk to Boston Public Gardens, Duck tour across the street, Walk to Movies, had a great time in Boston.

Overall, excellent stay. Staff very personable and helpful. 2nd floor under construction causing logistical difficulties to conference areas, but that is understandable and probably short-lived. Would choose this location again for downtown business and conference needs.

The Marriott at Copley is a good hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, although not big. The bedding is very nice and the bathroom clean ad functional. The staff is pleasant and professional. The location is great, near the tourist part of Boston. The hotel is part of one of the best mall complexes in Boston. If you like Tiffany - it is right there.

Copley Marriott was very nice. The hotel staff were all curtious and pleasant. I love that you never have to step outside for something to do - so many shops and restaurants all within the hotel. The nightly entertainment was also great, you could enjoy it from the hotel lobby - while people watching! Great time.

The Mariott Copley place is in the center of the Back Bay district where there is plenty to do, and its located near two subway stops and the Back Bay Amtrak station making it exceptionally convenient to get to and from. The hotel itself was very nice and is one of the few places I've found in downtown Boston where you can get two beds in a room. The internet was for pay and there was no continental breakfast available (restaurant on premise though) but that seems to be standard fare at the more expensive hotels.

The room was great, had a 37" TV, and a self-serve laptop safe. The view was very nice, and the bed and bath were fine, even though the bathroom was a bit small. My sore spot is the hefty charge for Internet service in the room, so I decided to skip it and wait until I was at the nearby convention center to get back online.

The hotel was really great but due to the time that we were there, Graduation time, it was outragiously expensive. It did not worth the money but it was a good hotel.

The staff was great but the condition of the hotel was dreadful. I awakened the first morning with clogged ears and a sore throat which indicates mold or dust for me. I pulled back the sheet and saw an old, badly ripped and worn mattress. Staff was great. They apologized, and They moved us to a new room which had a bit better (cleaner) mattress but we had to keep the temperature at 65 degrees to remove the musty smell. (lst room smelled musty as well) Their air conditioning system can't handle hot humid conditions.

We loved the hotel, very clean, staff was great! We were even "entertained" by the evening bellman who took our luggage to the room - we hear he is the hotel's "celebrity", Tony!!

Bathroom is tiny. Room temperature was too hot or too cold at the same thermostat setting (you freeze with the a/c on, then sweat when it kicks off). Beds were very uncomfortable. Some of the staff need to get out of the hospitality industry, perhaps the DMV could use them. On the other hand, more than a few staff members were outstanding, the room was clean, and the location is wonderful.

When I made the reservation, I spefically requested a room with 2 double beds, considering we were 4 people you would think they would assume we needed 2 doubles. When we checked in at 4:15 (check in time was stated as 4:00), we were told that the room had a king size bed, and if we wanted a double we had to wait for another couple of hours. We had been on the go all day, and with 2 little kids we just wanted to get settled...they did nothing to speed up the process in waiting, and it took until 6:30 to get into our room with no apologies. Also the elevators were very slow, and took an average of 5 minutes waiting each time we needed to use the elevator. Would not visit this hotel again based on customer service, and would never recommend it to anyone!

The room was well kept, the check in/out was seamless despite the fact that boston was crazy with tourists for the marathon. When I requested tylenol at 10:30 pm, they went to the gift shop and paid for it with their own money, brought it to my rm and refused a tip when he was paid for his purchase. That is service that goes above and beyond, even though the hotel was packed,I still felt like an important guest.

Due to early arrival I had to go to the check in counter a couple of times to see if our room was ready. The desk personnel were nice but not very approachable. The manager on duty was very approachable and helped answer questions with a smile. The hotel restaurant food was good for portion size and price. We ate in the hotel on three different occasions and found the wait staff to be inconsistant. We had a late lunch and the restaurant wasn't busy however our waiter would disappear for rather long periods of time. At breakfast the next day the waiter was attentive but seemed distrated. The waiter forgot the toast when he brought out our breakfast. When we asked he said he'd bring it right out. Literally 30 seconds later he was back at our table asking how everything was...... we again said "toast" at which point he went and got it. The waitress on the third occasion was friendly, prompt and efficient. It was a very busy weekend with the marathon and other conventions and I'm sure it's difficult to keep up when it's like that but the women's restroom on the 2nd floor desperately needed attendance around 2-3pm. The hotel rooms themselves were very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However the refrigerator was not working and no one came to check on it even though we called for assistance. Luckily our friends were in the next room so we used theirs instead. The concierge is awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall a good experience.

Good hotel to stay at, just be warned if you dont use valet parking you are taking a huge risk. Parking was poorly attended, and the staff was horrible.
