this hotel was very nice and in a good location. It is close to 2 nice malls with lots of places to eat. I loved the shuttle bus service to and from the metro station.I wish the gym could be more modern(its 2009--- people exercise more these days). I would definitely be staying here again.

the hotel location is convenience as it is locate near a large shooping mall and many restaurants. The staffs are friendly but not very informative as we had a firedrill in the middle during our stay, but there was no staff on the floor to tell us to evacuate, and there was no staff to inform us the status of the fire drill. Beside that my stay was good, the room is clean and beds are comfort.

This is a place I would stay on any trip to the area. Close to Metro and shopping. Easy to get to and pleasant staff at the front desk.

This is an outstanding hotel and a great value. For staying in the DC area it is close to everything and within walking distance of the well know Tyson's Corner Mall as well as great restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel staff was curtious and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was slightly hard to find, and hard to access. I will book this hotel when I am in the area again.

Had a great time, stayed for my graduation ceremony and it ws a little out of the way but much more affordable than staying farther in town. Great food at the pub, breakfast (liked the vouchers very much, Thank You)also excellent room service, all prices equal to any other food source. When I first got there the room was going to be too noisy (event happening behind the Pub) and they very sweetly moved my room for me, even brining the new keys up to me instead of making me come back down to the lobby. Excellent front desk staff, great resteraunt and room service staff.

Very nice hotel. Confusing parking lot to hotel tower entry and besides nothing in the elevator which said "parking" no one in the restaurant could help me with how to get back to my car. I figured it out myself.

The hotel & rooms were basic (I have stayed in a Crowne Plaza before) - I expected slippers, a mini-refrigerator, etc. in my room, but it was a room I would find in a regular Holiday Inn. The room I was assigned did not have a working A/C, and when asked to change the room they took their own sweet time without even a hint of apology. I gave the manager a piece of my mind, and got rewarded with a good breakfast buffet. Overall, it's an average hotel - let the name not draw you here. If you get a deal ($75 or less), given the proximity to DC, it might be worth it.

clean,pretty,close to everything...the indoor pool is HUGE and a nice surprise when traveling with children. We will definitely stay at this hotel again on our next trip to washington dc

Be sure to state when making reservation if you expect a non-smoking room that you mean, a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor. My non-smoking room, which required me signing a statement that if I smoked I would be charged $500 for cleaning, was only two doors from smoking rooms. Needless to say, when occupants of those rooms lit up, my room was quickly filled with second hand smoke through the vents. Secondly, unless you prefer room service, breakfast was not available without leaving the building. And lastly, hotel management posted a sign in the elevators appologizing for the odor from newly laid wood chips in their landscape, but apparently knew in advance it would happen. As a four day guest, I was not notified until the odor filled hallways, room air, and all about me. It lasted for over 24 hours when rain finally lowered the odor a bit. There are simply too many great hotels in the area for me to select this one again.

The hotel was great. The room was nice- clean and well maintained. We had a fabulous breakfast buffet though the waiter seemed a little stressed. Dessert in the pub was outstanding and more than enough. Check in and out were easy. The location is great- many good resturance and shopping within walking distance.

A) excellent deal on hotels.com B) excellent location, easy to get to and convenient parking C) Very good breakfast buffet, pub is open late D) Rooms were excellent, excellent beds and pillows, very good curtains (kept the room dark in the early morning) E) Pool is not quite standard size, but is large enough to swim laps (a rarity these days) and get a good work out. F) All around excellent!

My husband and I were looking for a hotel for a one night stay for a surprise birthday party. The hotel not only was close to the party location there were many other points of interest for shopping and restaurants in the area (walking distance if it had been better weather). The hotel gym was wonderful for two great workouts while staying there and the pool was wonderfully large and supervised by a lifeguard. Complimentary eye mask to help us sleep and some tasty treats awaited us in our room. Very Pleased

This was a great hotel for the price. They made our weekend trip to D.C. very enjoyable. Plenty of restaurants close by and the mall is nice. There was some renovation occurring in the restaurant and ball room area on the first floor, but we never heard any noise and it did not interfere with the stay. The shuttle service to the Metro was great and they were right on time for pickups as advertised. We never got to use the indoor pool, but it looked nice. We would stay here again.

Hotel was dog friendly but with a $40 charge we diddnt find out about until we arrived.

We and another couple had rooms nearby, both similar with double beds. Beds and pillows were very nice and comfortable, a big plus. 32" HDTV's in the room were also a big plus. Bathrooms were kind of smallish, but nothing we haven't seen before, but the showers were outstanding and made a nice way to start the day. Our only real complaints (that we informend management about as well) is that for some reason, the cleaning staff didn't seem to vacuum and we were always finding stuff on the floor from the day before, and much to the chagrin of my wife, they wouldn't replace our washrags. We had to call two separate times to tell them to bring us washrags. We were never given a reason, and its nothing big, but it was a little annoying that it happened twice. Our traveling companions had their heater/AC unit go out, but the staff put in several hours to fix it, and it seemed to work correctly after that, so the maintenance crew gets kudo's for that effort. The amenities were pretty good. The "heated" pool feels a lot cooler than it should due to the temperature in the room, and though I could handle it, my wife did not care for it at all, and it was one of the amenities we most looked forward too since it helps our knees, etc. However, the hot tup/spa was superb, and that helped ease the fact that we couldn't really enjoy the pool (which is huge by the way...a very big pool) O'Malley's bar has decent prices and though we dont drink, we did eat there once, and found the food good, and service very good. But the real draw about this hotel from a travelers standpoint is its local in the Tyson's Corner Shopping district. Stores like Macy's, Bloomindales, Neiman Marcus, etc., right across the street, and shuttle service from the hotel to the malls. Its convenient into downtown Washington as well. We just took highway 7 straight onto I-66 East and that took us right down to Constitution Avenue to see all the sights. Not bad at all... For business or vacationers, I would

I would recommend this hotel to my agency for guest coming in for meetings. Excellent place to stay

If you want to stay on the perimeter of DC, this is a convenient place. The shopping around there and restaurants were abundant. During non-peak hours it took us 20 minutes to drive into DC and if you don't like to drive into the District then they had a shuttle service to the Metro which then ended up being a 35 minute ride to the Smithsonian stop. This property definitely caters to foreign guests as well.

We only stayed overnight so we can't say much about hotel service. We had a hard time finding it bec. it was somewhat covered by the Marriot. Second, the room we got was a little too tight. There were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids and we got a room with double bed. It was clean though the building the was a little old. The bathroom sink was too high for my 6 and 7 year olds. It was nice that it had a restaurant on the 2nd floor that served good breakfast and very friendly servers. Overall, we can't complain. We were probably just expecting more. It was good for the price.

The hotel was clean and the staff was really nice. The location was wonderful--easy access to everything. Would definitely recommend to others.

Its a Holiday Inn. I was expecting plastic cups, worn carpets and rust stained bath tubs. What I found was a completely updated, modern, clean and comfortable hotel in an unbelievably convenient location (for Tysons Corner). Very, very clean. Staff was very friendly, but I got the feeling they were over their head a bit in such lovely surroundings. Great job Holiday Inn!

Overall a very nice place to stay. Convenient to two malls, many restaurants, etc. Shuttle service to and from the Metro makes travel to downtown easy. O'Malley's pub had great food at a reasonable price. The Tuscan Grill had poor service. Basically the same food as the pub but higher priced. Stick with the pub for food. Rooms were nice.
