United Inn Syracuse - North Syracuse

I chose this hotel because it said it had a shuttle service and when I needed it, the shuttle only works from 11pm to 6am and I had to pay taxis to get to the Syracuse University. That was really upsetting because I spend more money in taxis than espected. Two days in a row my room wasn't done due to lack of staff.

I was disappointed that there was no refridgerator in the room and when we called for one to be brought up, they said they would try to find one and never called or showed up with it. there was also a huge amount of rowdy people in the bar that night, several cop cars came. It was quite a show. the beds however, were most comfortable and the room was quite clean and spacious. I would stay again.

Hotel was not maintained at all, falling apart, litter in almost the entire outside area. When you went into the foyer and hallways, there was a musty odor which made me feel quite nautious. The television remote did not work. They should not bother with the "continental breakfast." Room was clean, although old and outdated.

This hotel was not maintained at all. There was trash littered all around the property, and the buildings looked like they needed to be rebuilt. When we entered the hallways to find our room (which was not too easy to do), all you could smell was mildew. The room numbers were not clearly marked on most doors, and some of the numbers were at the bottom of the doors for some reason. The room wasn't great, but at least it seemed somewhat clean. Would not return.

The rooms were not CLEAN. Coffeemaker was dirty. Previous occupant's underwear hanging in bathroom.

Hotel was fine for the money. Two complaints: room wasn't ready when they said it would be. Air conditioner didn't work.

Overall good bang for the buck. Unfortunately the internet connection was down for 2 of the 5 nights I stayed there. So if you are dependent on internet, this is something to consider and an area of improovement for the United Inn. The staff was very friendly and the overall service was good. The hotel is recommended for people traveling on a budget.

This hotel is in dire need of improvement. First, the bathroom light did not work, and we had to wait over an hour for someone from maintenence to come and fix it. Secondly, the knob on the air conditioning system was broken, therefore we couldn't change the temperature in the room, and the air conditioning system was very loud and old. Thirdly, the room had a very odd, musky odor to it. It actually bothered me to the point that it was making me feel ill. The whole room looked old and outdated and the bathroom especially showed the age of the hotel. Also, the outside of our room was facing the pool and right outside our door, there was alot of debris and algae growing where the downspout came out. The continental breakfast consisted of a few muffins and coffee. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing I have to say that was good about it was that is was close to the Fairgrounds and other hotspots.

Great location if u need to save $$$, rooms are a bit old looking but not bad:-)

The hotel was in a great setting but there were a lot of things that we did not like about it. The ice machines did not work most of the time so we had to go on the other side of the hotel to get ice. The card to swipe to get into the building or your rooms did not work properly so we had to keep going down to the front desk to get the cards reswiped and the restaurant and bar was never open the whole time that we were there.

Staff unresponsive to problems with room. May be in process of updating facility but general condition pretty poor even considering the price. Wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't already paid for.

outside rooms noisy from interstate traffic,patio door very drafty &shuttle to airport very expensive

Although I expected a two-star experience, this hotel was above average compared to most two-stars. The drivers were courteous and prompt to-and-from the airport, and the staff was efficient. The room was clean, and not noisy or bare-bones.

Hotellet var okay, men der var nogle mangler. Ydredøren var ikke tæt. Ydredøren kunne ikke benyttes som indgang, da den ikke kunne låses. Dette skulle man gøre indefra, hvilket gjorde det umuligt at låse den op udefra. Ellers var hotellet okay. Det har eller været en god oplevelse!
