Was disappointed parking was an extra $20.00 per day & internet in the room was and extra $12.00. We could've stayed at a hotel in downtown Chicago for the same price once all the extras were tacked on and it would have been more convenient.

"Friendly and comfortable"

Large comfortable rooms with separate area for work and laptop hookups. Both wireless and hardwire internet are available but for a fee and the connection was very slow. I was disappointed that FREE wifi was not available. Also they have the slowest elevators in Chicago.. Food is great and the staff excellent. They do allow small pets ( A big plus ) We will be back next year..

This is a suburban hotel. Parking was 20% of hotel room. Never again. Room was smallest I have ever seen in an Embassy Suites.

"Another great stay!"

Stayed here for Valentine's day weekend and the following Monday and it was great! The breakfast service is great and it was nice to have breakfast in a king size bed. Got a good price for it via Hotels.com. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Our son was at another hotel in the area for a conference and we stayed here because our teenage daughter and a friend were coming along. The suite was clean and inviting when we got there. We had a wonderful two night stay. The breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed it. The only thing that I was suprised about was having to pay $20.00 a night for parking.

The hotel was nice, clean. The rooms were a little small but the Atrium setup was nice. The rooms weren't overly comfortable. The beds weren't the greatest. Breakfast service was good. We liked the location, we were there for a convention.

Selected hotel for teenage kids looking forward to enjoying the pool in Chicago in mid Jan. . I called to make sure pool was available. The pool was filthy, hair floating on top and dirty cloudy water. Kids nor I would go into the pool. The hot tub was marginal. Next morning, attempted to go into hot tub only to find a sign saying out-of-service. Very disappointing being an Embassy Suite. Sorry I did not inform management of the situation. Attempted to tell front desk but waiting too long and had to leave...Morning breakfast was mariginal with many items missing or picked over. This visit was not up to Embassy Suites standards.

"Great Deal for a Great Hotel"

I'd highly recommend this hotel to someone looking for a bargain way to vacation to Chicago, but still stay in an extremely nice hotel. The breakfasts are always great here, and the convenience to getting into the city was unmatched, as the blue line El is just a few short blocks away.

"Great Room for the money but whirlpool needs improvement"

The suite was comfortable, clean, and had a nice view. The manager special was a very nice touch for that cold evening. We decided to go to the whirlpool but it was barely warm like bath water. We called the front desk and told them the problem but it was late so we did not check back. The breakfast was also very nice.

For the price, it was impossible to beat Embassy Suites. We stayed with our four children, ages 3 - 13, and everyone enjoyed the complementary breakfast that was included. The room was spacious, and had more than enough space for everyone. The price made the stay an excellent value.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Chicago but does not want to pay so much for a hotel room. The room was great, the breakfast buffet was superb especially the cooked to order omelete. It's only a few minutes drive to downtown Chicago. The hotel staff were very helpful. Also they have a covered garage...My husband and two kids enjoyed our stay there as well.

We stayed here on Thanksgiving weekend while visiting Chicago. This hotel is in a very nice and safe location. They have a big parking garage (with a fee).It is not very far from Downtown Chicago maybe about 15 minute drive. The price is affordable compared to downtown Chicago hotel rates. The staff are very helpful. Also we enjoyed the breakfast buffet..and it was free. They make the best omelete. Last but not least, the room smells good as soon as you walk in,not stuffy like the other hotels I've been to. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other people.

The hotel is located in a safe area, lots of entertainment around and good restaurants. The hotel was clean and prompt service provided when needed. I was a bit surprised of the hotel self-parking garage. I REALLY feel they should not be charging hotel night guests. Besides, the garage is shared with another hotel and the garage seems to be heavily segregated who and where you should park. They really need to work on that. I am a BIG person on bathrooms, but impressed that the showers were clean and well-maintained. I like th fact I was able to control the central AC and heat. To me the sheets on the bed could've been a little more softer. Overall, a great hotel for the money and a very nice hotel to place family and friends if you want to get away and relax.

I was just a little disappointed in the breakfast. The chef was a little grumpy that day and said he could not cook my egg the way I would have preferred it. There were no plates at the breakfast buffet when we arrived for breakfast and had to wait about 10-15 minutes for them. The food was barely warm on the buffet line. I have stayed in other Embassy Suites and had a much better breakfast experience. the rest of the stay was good. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable.

Clean room, good room arrangement, and quiet. Great breakfast buffet -- everything from made-to-order omlets to fruit and yogurt. Onsite bar was great; bar tender remembered names and orders! Hotel doesn't advertise, but it does have airport shuttle service (every 20 minutes). Only downside: LONG train ride into downtown Chicago -- about 30 minutes one way -- but train station is easy 1/4-mile walk.

It was a great hotel with an easy location to get to, plus the train station was only 2 blocks away which made it very easy to get into downtown Chicago. The rates were considerably lower than any other place in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. I thought I had read some negative reviews about having to pay for parking & its location, but found it convenient & I took the parking ticket to the front desk and they immediately marked it paid and gave it back to me to give the parking attendant. The rooms also had individual temp controls. The breakfast was fabulous, although one day it was quite crowded and finding seating was difficult.

We arrived at the Embassy Suites - O'Har to find that the power was out at this location and no idea how long before power would be restored. We were offered a room at a lesser quality hotel without being given a credit or refund for the price difference. We didn't have a choice since we needed a place to stay for the night. The Embassy Suites did allow us to come back to their hotel for breakfast the next morning. This experience cause my family an inconvenience and clouded our trip to the "big city". Hotel.com stood behind us as customers and I will definately use them as a booking service in the future. The booking will not be with the Embassy Suites, however, due to their lack of customer service and respect.

"Very Accomodating"

This was a great place to stay, they were very accommodating when we arrived early, they let us check in with no extra fees! The bed and pillows were comfortable (and I am picky!)

"Great Location and Service"

Friendly service and great location. The hotel was 3 miles from O'Hare airport. It appeared to be in a safe environment compared to another elite hotel that we were staying at in Chicago. I highly recommend this Embassy.

"It was good for the money"

The hotel was very clean and the hotel employees were very professional. The breakfast was more than expected. There was a variety a breakfast food. Also a plus was the free drinks in the bar from 5:30-7:00pm. Would recommend to anyone that needs a hotel.

"Nice Hotel"

A very nice hotel, only two complaints. For the price they should have free internet and parking. Great room, nice pool and hot tub. located close to O'hare and rail system.
