Location. The Sunset Station Hotel And Casino occupies 100 acres of land in Henderson, Nev. This property stands across the street from the Galleria Mall. The Las Vegas Strip and airport are less than eight miles away. Hotel Features. This Spanish-themed property houses seven restaurants, four bars and a separate food court with a Ben & Jerry's ice-cream shop and a Starbuck's outlet. The Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse features candlelit tables, an extensive wine list, prime cuts of meat and chicken dishes. The Capri Italian Ristorante is styled as an outdoor bistro and lemon-tree orchard. Feast Around The World Buffet serves Asian, Italian, and American dishes, and features international cooking stations. This hotel houses a 110,000-square-foot casino with a bar modeled after the designs of Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi. The casino offers slot machines, table games, a keno lounge, bingo and poker rooms, and a 300-seat race-and-sports book. The 500-seat Sunset Amphitheater hosts live concerts. A seasonal outdoor pool is attended by lifeguards and features a shallow children's section. The Kid's Quest supervised children's club offers play equipment and games, while a 72-lane bowling alley and a 13-screen movie theater entertain the entire family.
Guestrooms. This 21-story hotel offers 450 guestrooms overlooking the city lights or mountain landscape. Rooms feature beds with partial canopies, tables with two upholstered chairs, and televisions concealed within armoires. Dial-up, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Bathrooms contain shower/tub combinations and are stocked with La Natura toiletries.
