Internet access is not free. High speed is only available for purchase. There is not a restaurant on the premises, only a food court which is only mediocre. Room was very clean with the exception of a lot of dust under the air conditioner. No microwave in the room which diminishes the return of having a refrigerator in the room. There is not a freezer section of the fridge though either.

Very comfortable Disney hotel. This is not your Magic Kingdom monorail large crowd type hotel. It's much more relaxed in a very comfortable way. Water taxi is a nice ride through wooded areas to Downtown Disney. Bus service available to all other attractions in very timely. Very nice pool area. Nice walk way along the river bank between French Quarter and Riverside. Hightly recommend this hotel for it's diversity for a homey feeling while still getting the full Disney experience.

Hotel is in a great location with ok prices. The rooms was clean although it was dusty. The tv is also old and not a hdtv as most hotels are now. The main thing is the convenience and location. It is very close to the shuttles and boat to downtown disney. Staff was extrememly helpful and house keeping was great. The pool is nice size. I would stay here again if I went to Disney World.

The hotel grounds were lovely. It was quiet and very well kept. I loved being able to take the riverboat to Downtown Disney and the bus service to the other parks was very convenient. Our room, while not fancy, was very comfortable, clean and well kept. I must say though that the food in the hotel restaurant was not very good. It was better to go to Downtown Disney for that. All in all I would stay at this hotel again or try the other half at Port Orleans Riverside. It was a nice hotel at a fair price.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in July. It was our first time staying at a disney resort. Loved the property, had a riverfront room on the north side, easy walking distance to the Riverside resort. Beautiful grounds, just like New orleans! Had a wonderful time, should have stayed one more day to enjoy the pool. Beds were very comfortable and rooms had new carpeting and the furniture seemed pretty new too. The place is very quiet and our room was kept very clean. If you grow tired of the food court you can visit a nearby other disney hotel for a full breakfast or breakfast buffett. A great room and resort for the money. Will visit here again next year!

We had a wonderful stay! We took our 3 year old granddaughter to Disney and were concerned about how we would occupy her time at the hotel. We found there was plenty for her to do with the pool and a playground for little ones. Also the boat ride into Disney Village was perfect and the transportation system to and from the parks was very convenient. It is a beautiful property, very spacious and clean. It is great for a romantic get-away or with the family. We will certainly stay here again!

The Port Orleans-French Quarter property is immaculately clean and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated … you really feel like you are in the French Quarter. Also included are all those little “Disney Touches.” They really do know how to make their guests feel special. The property is extremely convenient: it is a very short walk to its sister property, so amenities at both resorts are available for use. You are also a short bus ride to the parks. [The bus to the Magic Kingdom alone is worth the stay: you are dropped off right at the gate, thereby avoiding the parking lot (and parking fee) and the tram and the Monorail or Ferry (with their incredibly long lines – especially annoying at the end of the day when you’re tired and just want to get home). Stepping onto the bus just a few hundred feet from the front gate saves a half-hour each way easily, as well as saves your tired feet a lot of walking.] Finally, our favorite feature of this hotel was the water taxi to Downtown Disney (about 15 minutes), with all the restaurants and shops and clubs. At the Port Orleans-French Quarter, we felt able to experience all of Disney ... and yet still didn't get in the car the entire trip! We are regular Disney goers and have stayed both on-and-off property. On this trip, the convenience and overall experience of staying at a Disney Resort really hit home; and for the price, the Port Orleans-French Quarter is hard to beat!

My wife and I stayed at this hotel. It was a very nice place to stay. We did not need to rent a car because Disney provided transportation for everywhere we needed to go(including travel to and from Orlando International Airport). The shuttle service is very convenient, at most we had to wait 20-25 minutes. Usually the wait time for a shuttle was ~10min. The service staff were excellent at recommending where find good places to eat and what times of day are best to visit certain parks. I would highly recommned the Port Orleans French Quarter for anyone wanting to go to Disneyworld.

We had a lovely room with a great view and a good value. We were able to check in super early and get settled so we didn't have to worry about coming back from the Magic Kingdom to do that. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We loved the bus service and water taxi's. We'll be staying here again!

We stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter over Memorial Day weekend and loved it. The pool was fantastic and the grounds of the resort are lovely. This resort is located close to everything. Didn't need to drive until it was time to leave. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thought we would hear lots outside noise, but other than a few toilets flushing, it was quiet in the room.

This was a lovely hotel and we received great service from all cast members and the concierge desk. The room was very nice with all the usual amenities and was very clean and neat. We used the pool, which got crowded during the day with families, but it was well maintained and staffed. The food court offered a good selection for breakfast and the prices were surprisingly reasonable with excellent sized portions. We were in building one which was nice and quiet, but this resort is small, so we were still close to all the amenities. We had a great stay and I would stay here again. Just a quick note about the Disney transportation: we used it to go to the parks, but hopped in taxis when we didn't feel like waiting to go to Downtown Disney (there was lightning nearby, so we couldn't use the free boat). The taxi drivers were all very professional and the fares were low. I'd recommend using a taxi for getting to the Hoop Dee Do Revue at Fort Wilderness camp ground as it's a hassle to get there and it took less than 10 minutes.

All was well at the Disney Port Orleans French Quarter. My only complaint was that the transportation by shuttle buses around the park took sooo long. Better to drive to the monorail and go from there. I thought staying within the park would be convenient and it was not so, although the hotel was very nice.

I stayed with my boyfriend, no kids, it was nice that our hotel room was sort of tucked away, very quiet. We had a nice view of the river, and took advantage of the free ferry service to Downtown Disney, which was a great convienience. Room was a bit of walking distance to the shuttles, but again it was nice to have quiet area. Shuttle service was great to and from parks. Would definatley recommond this hotel to young couples traveling without kids.

My wife and 2 yr old son and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way back home. It was a great plae for the price, a fun 20 minute boat ride to Disney Downtown. The staff was great, cafeteria was fine and pool was fine too. I definitely recommend it for the value as most of the time is spent elsewhere. The rooms were great, beds comfortable (a little small) water pressure/bathroom great etc. There is even a little playground for the little one to play at. Be sure to use the baggage check in the lobby for your airline...it is the absolute best amenity ever!!!

We were very pleased with our accommodations and enjoyed the landscaping and opportunity to ride the boat to Disney Town. The room was actually more than we expected; however, one day the housekeeping neglected to complete some of their cleaning duties. For one, they didn't leave any coffee in the room but housekeeping delivered later that evening numerous coffee packs to us so we would have in the morning. We liked having a safe in the room. It was more reassuring since we were out of the room for such long periods of time.

I was very happy with my stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and gave me all the information I needed. My room was very clean, and the cleaning staff left nice extra touches in my room each day, like towel sculpture. The landscaping and details of the resort make the biggest difference. I didn't feel like I was staying in a hotel; if felt like a small, old city. Even though I was in the building farthest from the main part of the resort (pool, restaurant, etc.) it was only a very short walk. The bus service is very convenient, and the boat to Downtown Disney is a relaxing way to get there. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location to all Disney attractions at a great rate. Quiet, neat, clean and a very good fast food court for early breakfast and evening after dinner snack. Reminds me of Savannah, Ga. with park benches and square gardens outside, where you can snack and people watch. The boat shuttle can be used free of charge for an evening ride. The bus tram to attractions is outstanding (every 20 min.),and the visitors and help are exceptionally friendly. We will be back. We are 2 adults enjoying our second childhood without kids. Do it!
