Hotel Napoleon - París

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - it was a lovely hotel in a great area. The staff was very helpful and accomodating and all in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Spotted this hotel in a Summit brochure. Best thing about the hotel is its location, a minute's walk from the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated internally with lots of character. The room was lovely and the only grip was the bed could've been a little more comfy and I couldn't get BBCWorld on the hotel tv despite it supposed to be available! I would go back even if its a tad pricey.

Springtime in Paris was made all the more enjoyable with our stay at the Napoleon Hotel. We arrived about an hour and 1/2 ahead of checkin time, and instead of having us wait for our rooms to be cleaned, the manager put us in the Josephine suite (a one bedroom apartment with a pull out bed, two full baths and mini-balcony), and then upgraded us to executive suites for the remainder of our stay (6 nights!). It was wonderful to have the extra room - nice size closet and very nice bathroom, and allvery clean. The location was literally across the street from the Arc de Triomphe, and a short block from the Champs-Elysees, and less than a 1/2 block away from Chas de Gaulle Etoile metro and RER stops. Perfect for us as we were on and off the trains the whole trip. There is a sports bar around the corner (toward Ave de Wagram) and several nice restaurants on de Wagram (Chez Clement and Hippopotamus) - about three blocks away. The concierges were very nice and provided recommendations and made reservations for us whenever we asked. I won't forget this trip anytime soon, largely because we looked forward to coming back to the hotel after very full days of experiencing the sights, sounds and food of Paris.

When you need to be near the Arc de Triomphe, this is the hotel to stay at. A small, but serviceable suite accommodated our family of three. Breakfast was more than pricey and not included in the price. Reception desk personnel tried, but there were several miscommunications.

suite was comfortable and staff was excellent. good location for all public/tour transportation. negative: new building construction next door during the day that will continue for some time.

Based on online reviews, I selected this hotel for a 4 night stay with my wife in early September. Reserved and paid for a suite, so was quite disappointed at the peeling paint throughout the room and hallways, plus the old carpeting. Location is convenient and the concierge and front desk staff are very good. Excellent restaurant recommendations from the hotel. Housekeeping not very good. Have had no response from hotel to my inquiry since my stay.

Hotel is in a fantastic location. Right smack beside Arc de Triomphe & Champs Elysees. Hotel Service in bar was poor with little attempt to assist in recommending anything! Receptionists were excellent and very helpful, stay away from bar!! Breakfast service very good. Such a pity bar staff were so unpleasant.

The hotel room was on the smaller side but very clean. The location was perfect! Within walking distance throughout the city. 10 min. walk to the Eiffel Tower & Seine River!!

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to the Arc De Triomph. It's impressive to look at, clean and the staff are very helpful. Rooms are old style, but very clean and well serviced. A great location to explore Paris and a hotel I would highly recommend.

The locality of this hotel is superb for doing all tourist things - have the Arc de Triomphe on your doorstep, literally! The rooms are very comfortable although felt room was a little of the small side, however, large bathroom. Kept very clean/tidy daily and could not fault the service provided, although did feel it was a little on the pricey side, especially for the drinks in the bar! Although saying that, the drinks (and everything else in Paris) is extortinately priced anyway. Would highly recommend this hotel just for the position of it.

This was a great find in a great location. Two minor frustrations - only one computer that was slow, and the room safe required payment to lock AND unlock. Otherwise, comfy beds, clean and well equiped baths, friendly staff.

Hotel was very convenient. We spend three days after our Boat Cruise walking and seeing the sights of Paris -- incl the Louvre, Effel, etc. Alain, the concierge was very helpful and pleasant.

Deluxe Room was a little more money than we usually spend in Paris, but felt it was worth it as this was my daughter's first trip to Europe. We had plenty of room in the living area and bathroom. Maid/Turn-down service were excellent. We faced small inner courtyard which was very quiet. Perfectly located one block from Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees and Metro Station. Easy to get to hotel with Air France bus drop-off just 4 blocks from hotel. Would definitely stay there again. We did not have any meals/drinks in the bar/cafe.

The hotel was very central for everything we wanted to do. Its proximity to the metro station and the Champs Elysees meant we felt very comfortable even when we didn't get back until late. The decor in the main parts of the hotel was fine, but the room was cramped and in need of refurbishment. The staff were very helpful and professional (and tolerant of my rusty French).

The hotel did a great job of accommodating 2 teens along with 2 parents with a large room that included a room divider and pull out sofa. This is quite unusual for a European hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. They even gave us Easter candy for our room - a nice little extra treat. The location is perfect, again with older kids who love the shops on the Champs Elysee, the Arc de Triomphe is right out your door and a climb up to the top gives you a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower at night.

The hotel was perfect! Everything was perfect - the location, the service, the lobby, and the hotel room. The room was perfect size (bigger than I thought it would be for a Paris hotel). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful - big, clean and beautiful. We will return to this hotel every time we go back to Paris. Also, we had a suite with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. We were so close to everything.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location, close to all! The only improvement to the E.Flynn suite would be to update the bathrooms. Otherwise an extraordinary view, plenty of space and great service.

4 gecelik Paris tatilimizde bize ilk sürprizi Napoleon Otel yaptı ve evliliğimiz şerefine odamıza güzel bir not ile şampanya gönderdi. Aynı zamanda personel bizi çok sıcak karşıladı. Otel mevkii olarak champ elysee ye çok yakın ve her yere ulaşım çok kolay. Tavsiye ederim...

Dette hotellet kan anbefales ved en reise til Paris. Ligger sentralt, men alikevel litt utenfor "sirkuset". Fint utgangspunkt for en flott ferie !

L'albergo dispone di ambienti sicuramente molto belli, come si vedono nelle foto pubblicate, inoltre è in una posizione eccezionale. Ma ahimè, è particolarmente trascurato.Forse necessita di un radicale restauro!!!!!!!!
