Radisson Hotel Reagan National Airport - Arlington

Overall good hotel. Kept clean and rooms were pretty good. I only have two complaints. No wireless internet (I mean...it is 2009...in a major city), and no continental breakfast. Oh and be ready to pay $20 a day for parking if you have a car.

This hotel was within walking distance from the Metro, but also has a shuttle that will take you to the airport. Employees went out of their way to be helpful. Rates much more expensive a block away.

The hotel was fine, but the rooms are a bit small and the bathroom is quite small.

Second time staying here - a very good value for the area.

I was apprehensive about staying here. The price was just too good and some of the reviews were not great. Well, everything exceeded my expectations. The beds were great, staff was very friendly and the location can't be beat.

Michael at front desk was great and very accomdating. The restaurant was awful! Parking horrible to pay $20 a day. Pool was disgusting.

My sons loved that you could adjust the beds to the level of softness or firmness you wanted. It was very clean and quiet. It felt like a very safe neighborhood. We were very close to the metro, we used it every day to take in the sights of D.C. The pool looked nice but we were always too busy sight seeing to use it. We would definately use this hotel again.

The hotel shuttle took to long to arrive, the wakeup call was a little late, they forgot to call for a scheduled taxi, and the shower ceiling had visible mold on it.

Sleep number bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. TV was old tube set. Internet is free in room but not wireless so bring your ethernet cable. Bath was small but modern and clean. Upgraded soap and shampoo. Microwave and refridgerator in room. Hotel was a little difficult to get to the first time. My Garmin said I was there but no sign of the hotel. I think I was on the back side. Parking is $20 in the hotel structure. Reasonable compared to other hotels in DC.

When traveling to DC, this hotel is an excellent choice if you want to save money that you would have to pay to stay in DC. The location is excellent being just a short five minute walk away from the Metro station, and there are plenty of great restaurants on 23rd Street, which is also a short walk away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the beds were very nice since they are sleep number beds to adjust the firmness to your liking. With free internet (an ethernet cable is provided for you) and a great rate, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

hotel could not even provide a pad to write notes

The only thing bad about this hotel was the sleep number bed. Ours was broken and wouldn't adjust to different settings. I would prefer a regular bed from now on.

Not a good one either...found out there is a parking fee of $20 a day. Would have been nice to know that before I booked! Besides that, great hotel...nice beds!

The room is always clean and well maintained and the front desk is always helpful. Combine that with the proximity to Crystal City Metro stop and this hotel is great for a DC visit.

The service was excellent from the check-in staff to the shuttle driver to the cleaning folks. Great value for attending a conference at a nearby hotel. Parking was easy and convenient. Would stay again.

I spent three nights, and it was great. The beds are very comfortable.

This is an excellent hotel for the price you are paying for. The location is great, a few miles away from the popular "must-see" attractions. The staff were helpful and courteous and the room...the room is simply great! I felt like a queen. I payed 10 dollars more in a mediocre hotel in Virginia...what a ripoff! My room was very clean, got a sleep number bed, a mini fridge, a microwave oven. The bathroom had a marble sink. Paintings and mirrors were neat. The room is just great. I feel sorry that I had to stay here just for a night because it was just a stopover for me from virginia to LAX but if ever I go back to Washington DC, Im definitely coming back to this hotel...hopefully they dont put their prices up! ALso they have a shuttle to the airport.

This was a great place to stay for a few nights in town on business. Close to the metro and close to center of DC. The room was very nice and the pillows were wonderful! The only small problems we had were the printers in the business center were not working at the time and the room service mixed up the breakfast order one day. But overall, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very comfortable and clean.

With Reagan National just a short shuttle ride away and the Crystal City Metro two blocks by foot, this is a great hotel for visitors to DC. The Sleep Number bed in the room was the best I've had in a busy summer of travel.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. When I needed extra towels they were brought within 10 minutes. Hotel is within walking distance of good resturants, Drug store and subway also within driving distance of other stores. Employees at the desk were very knowledgable and pleasant. We had a great time. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Without a car, this hotel was very conveniently located by a Metro stop - just a short walk away. The staff was pleasant and I was able to store and retrieve my luggage quickly and hop on the shuttle to the airport in plenty of time to make my flight.

I booked my stay based upon previous hotel.com reviews, which left me comfortable/confident, but not convinced. We stayed for four days, family vacation; the hotel easily exceeded what I expected based upon reviews - and I'm a pretty critical reviewer. Pros: great location to Reagan, clean room, very good service, easy access to Metro (the Mall in less than 30 minutes from your door), easy access to restaurants, great rate, modern look and feel, nice pool - overall, I felt very safe and sound. Cons: no wireless, coffee was available (in the lobby) only two of the four days of our stay, double beds are a bit small. Overall, we were quite happy and satisfied, and I'll stay here again on my next trip to DC. Middle-income families will find this hotel a good value - in other words, if bells and whistles are essential, go someplace else. If a nice, moderate, safe place - with a few perks - is your fancy, this is the place.

I enjoyed the internet access in my room and the proximity to the DCA airport

This hotel is very comfortable more than I expected. Unfortunately, the wall is shin, so I heard neighborhood voice a few times.

The hotel was clean very well maintained. The parking was $20 a day and no free breakfast. A few minutes walk from the metro. Chili's and some small resturants are nearby. Also very close to the mall. Very safe area.

We had a family of 4. This hotel had a fine outdoor pool with a life guard present at all times. Hotel desk and valet was always available. Breakfast as well as muffins for take out was there every am. Walk to metro is easy. CVS and other restaurants, Chiles, MCds, Ruth Chris, Tacos within walking distance. The staff was great, always well informed and rooms were clean. Does not look great when you walk in but, what more do you need?

This was a very nice hotel and was close (a few blocks) to metro. The only problem we had was with parking. We parked in the temporary parking to check in and take luggage up to room and they called our room within 15 minutes to say that if we didn't move our car immediately, they would tow it. We moved it immediately into the parking garage. It looked like other cars had been parked there much longer. This hotel was a good hotel for the price. It was also close to some shops and restaurants.

The room was clean and the hotel was well located. The condition of the room was marginal, with a hinge clanging every time the door was opened or closed. The staff was quite considerate. The room was VERY noisy, being in an old building facing a busy street, Jefferson davis Highway.

I stayed here for five nights and was on business. Great location. Just a couple of minutes from the Metro. While the hotel restaurant is TERRIBLE, there are many (MANY) restaurants within walking distance. Many are open late. Great ethnic choices. I arrived around 11 a.m. and couldn't check in until 3. The rooms are very spacious, but the bathrooms are incredibly small. I was alone, but could see people 2 or 3 to a room having issues. The fridge and microwave are very convenient and clean. My biggest complaint is the Internet. It worked only about 33% of the time. The tech company (number listed on card to call with issues) tells me that the hotel's tech equipment is years out of date. I am offered free breakfast and two free drinks at the bar. Stay here, but first ask if Internet has been working.

Great location. Close to metro station and short drive to all the tourist attraction and airport. Room is clean. Bed is awesome!!! Parking is $20 a night, but you can take the car in and out as you please. There are restaurants and small grocery store close by.

This hotel was perfect for our family. There was a refrigerator & microwave in our room, which was perfect for re-heating food for the kids. There is an outdoor swimming pool & fitness room. The metro is a short walk from the hotel which was also by a shopping complex which included a grocery store. Breakfast buffet was yummy, we ate there every morning! Room service was excellent too! The only negative is that parking is $20/night & the internet connection was very slow. Otherwise, this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at with my family!

Things I liked about the hotel: 1. the microwave and the fridge. I have an autoimmune condition that requires a gluten free diet. I was able to easily provide my own breakfast and lunch without worry. 2. parking was on site and tended which is good for the DC area.Spaces tight, though. HOWEVER here comes the not so good things: 1. the fridge was off when we arrived and there was standing water in the freezer. The food I transported had to remain in the cooler (some were frozen and had to remain so to be safe) so this was a problem. I had to use a washcloth from the bathroom to dry it out so I could get the thing cold enough as fast as possible to save my food. 2.The toilet ran constantly. We called the desk about it right away. It was never fixed during our stay. We had to keep turning the water off and on for 2 days. Yes, we told them we shut it off. 3.The elevators have the most annoying high pitched screech when you are going in or out of the doors. I am sure they added that "feature" to keep people from holding the door open, etc. but there are better ways to deal with it. Anyone trying to sleep by that all night would be miserable. Pick your rooms carefully at this hotel! 4.The coffee in the lobby was only offered for limited hours M-F, which would be fine IF they gave you more than one 4 cup bag of coffee in your room. I do NOT want to have to get dressed and go to the restaurant for a second cup of crappy coffee in the morning.

This is my third stay at this hotel, when the rates are fair I always choose this hotel. Love the beds...and the service is great!

My husband wasn't happy that he had to wheel our luggage to our room himself, although they do have luggage carts available. The pool was nice. The location was good, as long as you don't mind grabbing a cab to get into DC, which is what we did. The metro stop is a short walk away, but we're lazy! You can't beat the rate when you compare it to DC hotels. Parking is about half the cost, too.

I don't care what the commercials say about the much vaunted "Sleep Number" bed, they are like sleeping on a hard balloon. If you let the air out to soften the bed, it's like sleeping on a deflated balloon.

We were very pleased with the accomodations for the price deal we received. Loved the comfy beds, like sleeping in the clouds...

I'd recommend this property and would stay there again. I had tried to book a room in the Hampton Inn right next door, as Hampton offers free breakfast. Radisson doesn't offer this perk, but that's about the only negative feature. The property is a three-block walk from the Crystal City Metro Station; Metro stops along the Mall are a mere 10- to 15-minute ride away. Not even two blocks away, I found a terrific selection of great ethnic restaurants. The free airport shuttle is also a great bonus.
