Por ella discurre mucho tráfico, como barcas o visitantes que se dirigen a San Marcos; no obstante, es más tranquila y menos turística que la zona central de Venecia. Entre los puntos de interés se encuentra el área del Ghetto (el enclave judío original) repleto de museos y el majestuoso palacio Ca d’Oro, uno de los edificios más emblemáticos del Gran Canal.

great location close to the main parking garage area in Venice (Piazzale Roma), and the Ferrovia train station, great rooms, excellent service, great breakfast (included), pleasant experience

This was the second cheapest hotel I could fond for a business trip (the cheapest had a shared bathroom) Only 200 meters from train station and 400m from buses and cabs. 20 min walk to Rialto bridge and 60min walk to St Marls square and really close to water taxi / bus ticket boorh. Restaurant downstairs was grea and very nice to have breakfast overlooking the Grand Canal. Staff were very attentice - rooms were a little old and not very well soundproofed but would definately stay there agasin. Staff all seemed very helpful

Hotel is located in a convenience area. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and close to water bus stop, train stations. Room is a bit small. The breakfast service is terrible. They stopped bringing out food at 9:15 even the breakfast servce time closed at 10. It is a descent hotel to stay if you were skipped the breakfast.

Overall we were happy to have stayed at The Continental and think it is a good value. The service by the front desk was very good and the breakfast which was included in the rate also better than expected. The room was small but clean and utilitarian. The hotel is situated on a very busy and touristy block. If you follow the link from the hotel website the map that you will see is inaccurate. The hotel is actually located near the Vapporeto stop Ferrrenzia and is just off the Grand Canal.

The hotel staff seems like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The day staff was super attentive, very helpful, very courteous and quick to answer our every need. The night staff just couldn't be bothered, short tempered and just too preoccupied to even TRY to help. We had a late flight and the day staff was more than willing to secure our luggage and went out of their way to take care of everything. The night manager took over 5 minutes to come to the desk, others were also waiting for their room keys, we asked for our luggsge, which we could see, oh wait just a minute. Ten minutes later we belled him again and he seemed to not know what we asked for. We had also indavertantly left a book on the night stand and asked if it had been found and without any effort at all said it wasn't there. We politely asked again thinking he didn't understand we didn't leave it behind the desk but in the room , no no no it's not here. It was absurd. I liked the place but if we stay there again and the same night manager is there we will not have any dealings with him what so ever.

The hotel was great and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel provided complimentary internet service, which is a plus. It is located within a couple of minutes of the train station, and for one of the main ferry stations, and is still in the middle of a quaint Venice neighborhood.

I read a number of negative reviews of this hotel before booking, but I liked the location and the price was reasonable for the area. Therefore I was pleasantly surprised to find the place clean, the overall condition of the rooms and decor quite acceptable and the service was outstanding. Some rooms are on the small side but it is a 15th century building after all. The Hilton its not but great for a weary traveler. The location just a block or so from the railway station was the main reason I chose it and it is just one stop away from the Pizzalle Roma bus depot on the vaporetto.

Hôtel très correct et bien placé par rapport à la gare routière. Personnel très attentionné. Petit déjeuné varié et copieux. Proche arrêt vaporetto. L'hôtel propose des excursions et offre des réductions pour différentes soirées (concerts, évènements, etc.) à Venise

The hotel was located in walking distance to the bus and train stations and directly on the shore of Canal Grande. The room was fine, large and clean. The restauant had a great, but small, terrasse with a great view over the canal! It is located in a pedestrian area, but the noise levels were low. I will definietly come back to this hotel another time. Staff was nice. Waterbus station 200 m. away.

Perfekt läge 7 min Lätt gångväg med packning från busstationen. Restaurangen har veranda mot Grand Canal. Billiga restauranger på affärsgata utanför dörren. (Även Mc Donalds). Vi hade tidig avfärd med flyget och fick frukost med oss i påse.

Ligger like ved jernbanestasjonen - ett minutt mot venstre.Vi tok buss fra flyplassen og gikk til hotellet, veldig greit å finne fram. OK frokost med grovt brød, eggerøre og det vi ellers forventet. Deilig å kunne spise på uteterasse. Flott, stort og rent rom (vi var to voksne og to ungdommer), men kloakklukt på rommet trekker vurderingen ned. Angrer litt at vi ikke klaget, men familierom vokser ikke på trær... Nært til tog, båter og buss. Vi kjøpte dagskort til båt og hadde dermed et fantastisk og fleksibelt opphold i tre dager. Og det er ikke sant at alt Murenoglass er dyrere på Murenoøya, slik reisehåndboka vår påsto. Fant mye flott glass der.
