Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore Hotel - Baltimore

We were there to see a Baltimore-Yankee game. The hotel was in a good location because it was in the middle of the inner-harbor and the stadium. (Walking distance to both). However, the room was very small and the bed was very uncomfortable (even though it was a sleep number). Staff were friendly and helpful. Some areas around the hotel were a little scary to walk through at night. I will stay somewhere else next time I visit.

The hotel staff were very eager to please, and this hotel gets top marks for service. However, the physical plant is aging. Some elevators skip floors for no apparent reason, and the room was rather uncomfortable.

Excellent desk staff, as well as the guys out front. The restaurant needs improve in it's service and food, but there's so many other great places to eat. I recommend you venture out and try something new. The overall rooms are nice though the sleep number bed hype is just that-hype. Ask for a queen or king I think it would be much more comfortable especially if there are two in your party. The hotel is worth a visit for any conventioner because of the value and proximity to everything,though.

Pros: Helpful, courteous, fun staff at the desk. I had to switch stuff up a bit, and they tried to help me and not charge me for parking passes I didn't use. They were also really appreciative that I "read the fine print" about the fact that I might not get the beds I requested through hotels.com (lots of smiles and even high-fives). The room was comfy and seemed pretty typical....clean, adequate furnishings, bed was comfy, and it was easy to adjust temps. Cons: I had to pay a $20 fee for switching to the beds I requested (boo!). My roommate's sheets were stained (yick!). I have a pending amount on my credit card right now that makes me think that although they told me they wouldn't charge me for that parking pass, they did. That's uncertain tho; I won't know until it's no longer pending. Directions to the parking garage were wonky (we accidentally parked at the wrong one and the voucher wasn't valid, hence wanting the refund). Overall, I'd stay there again. I probably would park on my own, though, if I had a car.

Very impressed with the hotel and staff. Everyone was very nice and accomodating! Only stayed one night in Baltimore but we enjoyed our stay!

When arriving, I did ask if I could 'save' a few more dollars using my AAA card. She looked at the price and laughed "you did a great job with this price...it's the lowest I've seen!" Sure enough, it was. Thank you hotels.com. Not only was the location walkable to the inner harbor, but we were just in time for the free concierge level 'happy hour'! I had a few glasses of wine, wonderful appetizers and off to dinner at Bertha's Mussel's (great place). Though when asking the front desk, they thought Moe's had better crab cakes. It was a great stay.

The hotel is located very conviently to the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards, and the Baltimore Ravens Stadium. All are within walking distance but the surrounding neighborhood is a bit scary. I didn't feel safe walking around there at night. The entrance to the hotel is located on a small crowded side street which made it very hard to get in and out when it is busy. One of the big things they promote is having "Sleep Number" beds in every room. I found this to be the most uncomfortable hotel bed that I have ever slept on. My back hurt in the morning no matter what setting I put it on. Do your research...I'm sure you will get a better value elsewhere.

The hotel was clean, roomy, comfortable and in walking distance to Camden Yards as well as the great inner harbor.

Good service, nice location but the room was a little dated. The track on some of the armiore drawers was broken and the TV teetered on the stand. The biggest problem was in the bathroom, the tiles were loose and rocked whenever you stepped on them and the wooden blinds were broken. Not bad over all but it's the little simple things that separate a good hotel from a great one... and they need to address those little things.

High end hotel appearance at a great price. Good location and close to inner harbor. Well recommended.

I think it is a regular hotel, with a good rate price and also good location.

My only real complaint with the hotel was that one of the windows in my room wasn't in the frame very well, which allowed a lot of outside air and noise into my room. I stuffed a towel in the gap, which helped, but it was still quite humid in the room.

Nice hotel. Downtown is very convenient to Harbor, Convention center, Camden Yards, etc. Staff could be a little more helpful but in general very good.

The toilet was not clean it had brown stuff on the seat. The toilet tissue was wet and dried.

I got my money worth. However if i came next time with kids i prefer to stay at a hotel with pool or arcade to entertain the kids if weather doesn't permit for outdoor activities. Considering baltimore isnt a child friendly enviroment at night.

When we checked in we were shocked to learn that to make sure your car was not stolen the desk recommended you pay a $ 31 parking fee per night. The alternative was street parking or outdoor lot parking without any surveilance. The $31 included a couple of guards and a security camera. This was not told to us before we checked in. The location is very convenient to the Inner Harbor and The Baltimore Orioles and Ravens stadiums. About a five minute walk to each.

I found the room to be very comfortable. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the room.

All staff, especially front desk personnel were tremendous. Always inquired as to our satisfaction. The hotels.com price included the parking which made the overall price even more of a bargain.

The location was very convenient and the price was $40 less than the hotel accross the street. It also has business center where you can access the internet for free. The hotel seems to need some upgrade as it looks like it has not been upgraded for decades.

I was unhappy I booked what I thought was going to be a king size room and ended up with a queen. I guess they have the ability to do that is what I was told. Also they were having an outdoor concert and it was extremly loud with people will the late hours of the night. Parking was a little bit of a haul with baggage.

Hotel lobby and staff were extremely accomodating. Very polite.

Went to Red Sox vs Baltimore game- The walk was 10 minutes tops! ESPN bar right in the area Front desk very helpful and friendly $12 shuttle to and from airport paid $40 for Taxi from airport to hotel didn't know shuttle was available- note to self-book before next stay overall great experiencce!

I requested 2 double beds, the room had a queen and a pullout. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was qute understaffed and disorganized.

I stayed in this hotel during a trip to Baltimore to take the bar exam. There were many other exam takers there also. The great points were: the service - excellent the entire time. When I checked in they placed me a in a quiet room away from the elevators to study/rest. And, during the entire trip, every single hotel worker was friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. I also ate at the hotel restaurant for convenience - breakfast was average, a bit expensive for the quality. But, dinner was excellent and worth the price. Many items on the dinner menu were organic/ free range meats, fresh veggies, great service, everything fresh and made to order (which did require a bit of time). The only points that were negative - the hotel was clean, but a bit older. My room was clean, but the toliet seat had something on it I had to clean (like some sort of product, nothing too gross) but, it didn't give me a lot of confidence in the details of the "deep" clean. But, bathroom had new caulking/ no mold. The ice bucket also had dust or something in it.... But, overall I would recommend staying here because the rates are good - you can walk to everything (but, the entire neighborhood in Baltimore is a bit shifty so cab at night), and there is nothing the staff would not try to accommodate!

The hotel location was great. The lobby was beautiful but the carpet in the hallways and the rooms were very stained and need to be replaced. The wallpaper was dirty and should also be replaced. The staff was friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were on hands and knees cleaning the bathroom floor, but the carpets were dirty. I didn't walk in bare feet. The hotel location was very close to Camden Yard and the Inner Harbor. Overall okay hotel, just could use updates(carpets/wallpaer).

My stay for the most part was good. It was the next day when I returned home and checked my credit card online that ruined my trip. I had room service charges of $68 - after calling my credit card they informed me that they had put on charges of $228.89 which drew my account overlimit. The woman at the Radison (front desk) is suppose to take care of this..... I will give it 2 days if not corrected online to return a call. Not the way to come back from a trip for relaxation.

We had a pleasant stay. It's an old hotel, some will like it because it has some "character." Other hotels are closer to the inner harbor, but rate-wise this was a good choice. Parking is weird. No driveway to park your car while you check in.

from the bellperson to the front desk clerk to the housekeeper, everyone was warm, friendly and professional. hotel room kept very clean and my individual needs were met when inquired/asked... ie, extra toiletries, towels and local information. bellman came rushing to me when a bag i was carriing ripped, held my other articles so i could get my car.
