"Excellent Stay"

I checked into Tiara Park late after arriving off my flight. I was greeted with a very nice welcome from the lady who checked me in and also a nice glass of Port. i was also upgraded at no extra charge to a suite so for 66 pounds it became quite a deal. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay or if one is staying in the center of Porto. The only downside there is no pool in the hotel. I would definitely go back there

Deserve its 5 stars rating. Too bad internet access is additional, service should included at a hotel of this caliber. It feels cheap to nickel and dime on the internet access. Beware the parking is 1.80 Euro/hour. I chose to park myself on the street, in the surrounding neighborhood.

Really comfortable hotel, all hotel staff were very nice to us and always gave service with a smile. Would recommend to any couple wanting a break. Breakfast is amazing, includes champagne! (if you like).

"Perfect Place in Porto!"

This was my first trip to Porto and was a mix of pleasure and work. I stayed at the new Tiara Park Hotel in Boavista, Porto. Hotel is situated in a very upmarket area of town, near the financial district and is very close to bus/train routes. The area itself is very safe and you're walking distance to a few boutique shops and restaurants. I was driven to most places but found the hotel to be in a fairly good location. The facilities are absolutey outstanding, the level of service is great and all staff are professional, courteous and helpful. The rooms are superb, I had a very high floor with views over the city and ocean in the background. I would definately recommend this hotel to a business traveller in Porto.

"Very good hotel for the money"

Don't understand the Portuguese system of rating. This hotel of 3* was much better than the one of 4* I booked in Tavira through the same hotel.com. In Porto I would recommend this very confortable hotel to anyone, except it is a little far from the usual tourist itinerary in the city. The only "inconvenience" was that I was charged 1euro/hr for the parking in the hotel garage. This is not unheard of in Europe, but other hotels in Portugal (Alief e.g.) did not charge us for parking.

"Superb Hotel with excellent staff"

We stayed at the Tiara Park Hotel on the 25th-26th October 2008. This was for our 18th Wedding anniversary and although I read the reviews and they appeared good, we were genuiniely delighted with the Hotel. THe room was excellent - clean, quiet spacious. The staff were very attentive and although we arrived earlier than the check in the staff were friendly and took care of our bags whilst directing us to an excellent museum about 15 minutes down the road. My wife casually mentioned it was our aniversary and we thought nothing further of it. Later that night when we returned to the Hotel much to our surprise and delight we found a complementary bottle of champagne and a cake in our room. This is the best hospitality we have experienced in years and when I thought about the last time a hotel had been so caring for their guests, I had to go back 18 years! We only stayed 2 nights but, we will gladly return to this jewel of a hotel.

Staff were always available to provide service with a smile. No or don't know were not words in their vocabulary. They anticipated your needs and were able to provide for them.

Great room for the money; first class hotel; excellent airconditioning, fine computer links; breakfast buffet was quite good, but over priced at 17 euros Service staff was outstanding in helping us modify our itinerary/flights

Hôtel très accueillant malgré son décentrement par rapport au centre ville; chambres très confortables et luxueuses ; l'accession au Spa/piscine est malheureusement forfaitaire à la journée, ce qui augmente de beaucoup son coût si vous arrivez en fin de journée avec un départ anticipé pour le W-E
