This was an excellent choice for our 5-day stay in Stockholm given its close proximity to the train station and the bus terminal AND the excellent view of the city. Staff were very helpful. The fish restaurant located in the hotel is also a must.

Nice hotel and great location to explore Stockholm on foot. Only issue was when I went to check-in, there were no rooms available. The hotel recognized its error and provided free breakfast passes, which more than made up for this shortcoming. The breakfast bar was above average.

this was a fab hotel and the best thing i can say about it was its location...particularly for someone who is only in Stockholm for a short break...you can actually walk to everywhere from the hotel...very clean, breakfast was fab, staff were very helpful...would highly recommend this hotel!

Get off the train, check in to the hotel, then wander around Stockholm... it's as easy as that. The hotel is very nice, roomy, and pleasant...

we enjoyed the city, helped by the confort and ease of this very nice and perfectly located hotel. we even had the time to relax in the spa and have huge continental breakfast...

Hotel was a good value. Location is next door to the train / bus station, so it was easy to find. It is also approx. 1.2 mile from old town / sites, so not bad. I would recommend!

The rooms could stand to be updated a bit, but they were clean and the beds were comfortable and the location fantastic. Literally right next to the central train and bus station, directly across from the major subway line, and within walking distance to most of the major attractions and shopping districts in Stockholm. Given the overall expensiveness of Stockholm, the great value for the hotel is a welcome surprise and allows you to budget your kronor out on the town. I would definitely stay here again.

We only had one afternoon and evening - couldn't have been a better location and the service was very friendly!

This hotel is right next to the train in from the Airport. I was in one room with my 2 daughters. It was very spacious. Breakfast was also very good. Only complaint: Was told they had an early morning breakfast available at 4 p.m. When we checked out on our last day, we were told wrong. It's 5 p.m. so we had to take an early flight without breakfast. Also, the hotel does not have a concierge. You always have to wait in line for the front desk to help you - a little annoying.

Basically, we chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Stockholm Central Train Terminal. The hotel was more than adequate although a bit pricey. Due to an early departure, we did not get to partake of breakfast.

I travel A LOT for work and therefore i'm a bit sceptical about hotel reviews when they say the hotel is great. My experience of this hotel was that I was upgraded (for free) to the suite which included access to the gym/pool, free movies, a private jacuzzi and sauna! The room was great, the location of the hotel is excellent, breakfast was very good and staff were friendly.

This is the second time I've stayed in the Radison Viking. Reasons: 1. You cannot get any closer to Stockholm Central without actually being in the station. 2. Staff are no nonsnse, check-in is flawless, requests are recieved and delt with we without any difficulties. 3. Rooms are of a very high standard, very comfortable. 4. Check out is at 12 noon, would prefer a later one but good enough as trainis on your door step. 5. Close enough to night spots in Stockholm for a cheap cab ride. Altogether a fine hotel. However there are cheaper in Stockholm, Scandic for example. Pleased.

Great location, very convenient to central Stockholm and all of the sights. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and centrally located. Had no issues. The SATS gym and pool was chargeable on a standard room. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. Valet parking was hassle free. Sky bar on the 9th floor was good. Overall a clean environment and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

We paid for our room believing that breakfast was included. The staff at the hotel said it was not. I think that was an error on the booking agent's part and have not received any comment from them.

Location was great. Right next to the train station with express train to the airport. Easy walking distance to Gamla Stan, the historic old town. Great buffet breakfast in a bright atrium on 2nd floor. Room was spacious with very comfortable beds and large, well equipped bath room. Highly recommend.

The hotel is very convenient to Central Station and we took the Arlanda Express train to the airport. It is also very easy to walk from the hotel to Gamla Stan (Old Town). Personnel were very helpful. However, we were very disappointed to be told (after already paying a high room price) that it would be an additional $20 to swim in the pool in the basement!

Everything about our stay was excellent.

Nice place, great location for train travel or Arlanda arrivals. Awesome mirror placement...

Great Location - only two blocks from main shopping area and only two blocks from Old Town of Gamla Stan where all the restaurants and more shoppping exists - also the Palace. Hotel has A/C and a great morning breakfast buffet. Beds are a little hard, but that seems to be the norm for this part of the country. Room was spacious compared to others we've stayed in.

Nice hotel. Staff very helpful. Right next to Central Train Station and Center of town. We arrived early and the hotel was full. Took awhile but finally got a clean room.

The location being so close to the main train station was great. We were pleased to find that the sound proofing of the hotel inside gave us no remider that we were so close to the central hub of the city.

The hotel was rated 5 stars but did not meet the expectations at all! The rooms were quite small and had a smell to it. They did not offer individual shampoo, condition or soap but instead had a dispenser that was to be used for all three. A cheap way of not providing guests with these amenities. The gym was an extra fee for those not staying in a business room but was nothing impressive and should have been free for all. The only upside to the hotel was being located in the center of the city and close to all transportation.

Hotellet håller hög klass förutom servicen som jag tycker är undermålig. Om man inte beställt frukost från början så möts man av en sur anställd som inte kan klara av att registrera en för frukost direkt utan man tvingas ner till receptionen där man får stå i kö efter alla som skall checka ut och sedan registreras för en frukost. Utcheckningen fungerade lika dåligt med strulande datorer och än en gång efter man har tagit ut något från minibaren göra en ny registrering med separat kvitoo för detta. Sammantaget så drar den dåliga servicen ner betyget för ett i övrigt utmärkt hotell

God bemanning i resepsjon og hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte.

Negativt var att luftkonditioneringen hade väldigt hög ljudnivå och att det inte luktade fräscht i badrummet

The Hotel was very good in the sense of cleanliness, the service ( customer friendly) etc, the hotel is also VERY central- you see it as soon as you get out from the centralstation. That has a bad side though, because it's so close, you can actually hear the train announcements from the centralstation- quite clearly. That could just be my luck with that room, however I still believe they need to ensure the glass is thick enough to block those noises. Hotel doors being closed, were also very clearly heard which made it a bit difficult to sleep. The noise is the only con though, other than that, the Hotel is very good! Please note also that the room did not come with breakfast, which might actually be expected when you book a room in a 5 star hotel- what they promised is what they sold though- so can't blame them on that!

Dette var et hotell som lå midt i "smeltedigelen" i Stockholm. Kort vei til det meste i byen. Hotellet hadde trivelige ansatte og god service.

Mycket nöjda med hotellet det som kan bli bättre är att frukost inkluderas i rumspriset. Trevlig personal, bra frukost, rent och snyggt

Jag tycker det var ett bra mottagande men dock för lång väntetid vid incheckning och såg att det var kö till diskarna varje gång jag passerade. Rummet var välstädat och rent men ganska slitet i badrum och minibar-kylen hade många år på nacken. När vi bokade hotellet så såg vi att det var 5-stjärnigt men jag har bott på andra 4-stjärniga hotell som varit fräschare. Frukostbuffén var dock underbar och innehöll allt! Det var den stora behållningen under vår vistelse + en trevlig bar på entréplanet.

Vi var ikke kjent i Stockholm, så veldig greit å kunne gå rett bort på hotellet da vi gikk av toget (tok rutetog til kr 100 istedet for flytog til kr 240 pr bill). Det manglet såpe på badet, men det ble fikset med en gang vi ga beskjed. Rommene var fine, badet ok. Sentral beliggenhet i fht alt, vi kommer til å bestille her neste gang også!

Hotellet har ett utmärkt läge vid Centralen. Kan rekommenderas till alla som vill bo centralt och med hög standard.

Jag skulle vilja ge hotellet fyra stjärnor baserat på rummets inredning. Det kändes gammalt och inte alls så lyxigt som jag hade väntat mig. Antar att rummen inte renoverats på ett tag. Frukostbuffén var fullkomligt underbar! Service och bemötande från såväl personal i lobbyn som från städpersonalen var mycket bra! Läget är förstås oslagbart. Överlag en bra vistelse men man kunde gott modernisera rummen!

Ett mycket centralt beläget hotell mitt i centrala Stockholm. Bra frukost med mycket att välja på. Fina rum och en mycket trevlig personal.

Ett fint hotell med hög standard. Dock önskar jag att det var tydligare i bokningen att frukost INTE ingår i rumspriset. Detta tillkommer med en kostnad av 125 kr/person.

Läget är grymt, och service-andan hos personalen bra. Städningen lämnar dock en del att önska, skitigt på golvet och i duschen (speciellt i hörnen mellan vägg och badkar). Jag kommer att återvända, men mest pga läget.

Perfekt läge vit centralstation,och taxi. Fint rum, dock vart inte frukostbuffen och dess lokal något att hurra för. Stort och sorligt, mycket folk.

Les chambres sur cour interieure ne permettent pas de voir le temps extérieur, mais en revanche elles sont très calmes! Très bonne impression générale. Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas ouvrir la fenetre toutefois...
