Mercure Paris Terminus Nord - París

Hotel was great location between the 2 train stations. It was extremely warm & muggy and the air conditioning was weak. Our room was near the roof where all the condensors were running which made leaving the window open noisy. Overall for a one night stay was good.

I love Paris and have been there often. This night was just a stopover on a train journey that did not offer a night train, so I made the HUGE mistake of reserving a room at this hotel because it's rating was pretty good. Although the convenience of being right across the street from the train station is undeniable, this place was a pit. The neighborhood has deteriorated to the point that it feels unsafe to go out at night. The hotel is old and feels it in a very unsavory way. It was smelly and not very clean. I was quite upset that I had believed the reviews I read, and spent way too much money for this awful place. Paris is such a wonderful city. I pity the people (mostly American businessmen from what I observed) who only see it from here.

Our stay was only very brief in Sat lunch time and out again the next day but the hotel was in a great location right beside Gard de Nord easy to find and a lovely comfortable well presented room. The room was spacious and well appointed and the bed VERY comfortable. Not that it was that big of a deal but finding the room was an experience the hallway once out of the lift which is cosy was a labyrinth but worth it for such a nice value for money hotel room.

The hotel is perfectly located right across from Gare Du Nord. So for those of you who have to drag heavy luggage around with you and don't want to pay rediculous prices for a taxi to take you to your hotel, the hotel is perfectly located! Right next to it is the metro station also, very easy to use to get around the city. Its within walking distance to the quaint Monmarte area loaded with delicious little restaurants, and if you get a room with a street view, you can see the beautiful Sacre Ceoure Catherdral from your balcony. Reasonabley priced, clean, and extremely conveniently located.

Pour ce prix, on s'attend à mieux. Une chambre sombre, mal éclairée, une climatisation qui ne se règle pas, un lit dont le matelas commence à s'effondrer. Bref, un hôtel que je ne recommande qu'à ceux qui ont besoin d'être au plus près de la gare du Nord, mais niveau2 étoiles, pas plus.Hors de prix pour ce que c'est.

L'hotel en en fin de réhabilitation. Il est tres bien situé et aux normes Mercure Ce n'est pas un hotel ou l'on se sent tout a fait chez soi.. Un peu impersonnel ... Les parties communes et le hall sont en dessous des attentes en terme de décoration.
