My fiance and I were content with simply staying at a hotel so close to the Inner Harbor, but upon arrival were given tickets for free drinks at a nightly reception and free hot breakfast the next morning. It definitely added to the experience to have cocktails in the Cloud room overlooking the harbor. The service at the hotel was excellent as well. Dorian was especially helpful with giving us ideas of things to do in the area.

The Brookshire Suites was conveniently located, just a street over and a couple minutes walk to all the attractions at Inner Harbor. There are a couple parking garages on Calvert St. (check out Google Maps) in the block just before the hotel, which offer good prices. The room was clean and modern with a refrigerator and flat screen TV. Also, they serve a hot breakfast and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great value. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

My friends and I stayed in this hotel when we decided to have a night out in Baltimore in the Inner Harbor and Power Plant Live. The Location was great and the price for the location was very reasonable. There is only valet parking, so be sure to park in one of the nearby garages (which are cheaper on the weekends than the vallet). The breakfast was decent. Overall the hotel was nice and in a great location, but the service was very slow and not always all that helpful. But if you are there to have fun, than it doesn't really matter.

The Brookshire has very nice rooms and is very conveniently located. However, let this be a lesson that, without service, the best hotel can be a disaster. One person handles the front desk and the wait to check in is completely unreasonable. It took over 1 hour to check in and other guests took longer. They valet parked my car ($29 per day) and they left the lights on causing my battery to die. We lost 2 hours in our planned Sunday departure putting us in very bad traffic, that we tried to escape by leaving early. Too bad, nice facility ruined by inadequate service. GRW

The hotel was on a very noisy street. So book as high as you can on the west end of the hotel. The 12 floors of rooms go around from example 101 to 109. 101 being on the corner(east side)of the hotel and then wrapping around the front of the hotel. Very noisy. We changed rooms after the first night to room 308(west side). Very quiet! The cloud club was a plus for views, drinks and breakfast. Nice place to hang out. We only hade to walk 1/2 a block to get to the harbor.

THe Brookshire Suites was very clean spacious hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone greeted us with hellos and even gave my granddaughter toys - which made her very happy. Even a maintenance staff person was very warm to her and us. The room was spacious and clean. Th location was one block from the Inner Harbour- about a five minute walk. Breakfast was much more than I expected with bacon and eggs and other hot items as well as pastry, fruit , etc. The view from the breakfast area was of the Inner Harbour-but the room itself did not have much of a view- other buildings , etc.

Brookshire Suites may not be right on the Harbor but you can enjoy your complimentary hot buffet style breakfast in the Cloud Room and enjoy the view of the Harbor. The entire staff went out of their way to make sure my business trip was great. If you have an event at the Convention Center and would like to spend 100 less per night and receive better services and ammenities than the other guys, then this is your place. It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Convention Center and Inner Harbor. Did I mention complimentary local brews in the evening?

This was a solid hotel but two things that would make me hesitate in giving a full recommendation. 1. Service at the front desk is incredibly slow. The people in front of me in line at the check-in took literally 15 minutes. After a long day of travelling, this was not appreciated. 2. There is a non-significant resort fee that they charge PER DAY for various things that you may or may not take advantage of, like a happy hour, wireless internet, etc. The printer they provide to guests to print boarding passes, etc. was broken for _several_ days with no obvious attempt to fix, which also caused congestion at the front desk. Otherwise, I enjoyed their hot breakfast, their efforts to be eco-friendly, the great location, and cleanliness.

We chose this hotel because of location and the few good reviews we saw. Do not believe the good comments. It is dirty and rundown, and the staff is not friendly. My bed had pistachios under it, the curtains had weird stains on them, the ceiling had soot on it, the entire place smelled like stale cigarettes... We asked for a room change because there was construction outside of our window and they told us they were sold out. Yet, we called the front desk from a cellphone and asked if there were any rooms available and they said yes. I could go on, but I won't it's not worth the time. Do not stay at this hotel.

We found this hotel to be in a great location, immediately adjacent to the Inner Harbor. However, the hotel is located on an extremly loud city street, and we were awakened 3-6 times per night, with sirens, traffic traversing large metal plates on the road, and even drag racing in the middle of the night. I would not stay here again because of the unfortunate noise. The staff, however, were wonderful, especially those in the Cloud Club, a top-floor lounge, serving cocktails in the evening and a hot breakfast in the morning.

The room was great! The staff was friendly and helpful. One block from the bay, four blocks from Camden Yards Ball Park and the a few more to the Babe Ruth Museum. Other than than City deciding they needed to do road work in the middle of the night. Our stay was great. The Breakfast was really nice. Don't let the $10 a night (what ever) charge scare you off. It was well worth the price. Baseball, great things to do, great restaurants near by, how can you go wrong.

I ended up traveling alone w/ my pre-teen daughter to Baltimore & was very nervous about the hotel and the neighborhood before arriving. I was beyond happy with not only the hotel, but the neighborhood as well. The staff was extremely kind, happy, and helpful. The room was great as well as the complimentary breakfast and spirits in the evening. My only real complaint was that there seemed to be constant noise from construction across the street during our stay. I will definitely stay at the Brookshire again. It was literally one block from the inner harbor & was safe to walk back to the hotel at night alone.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Brookshire Inn this past weekend. The hotel staff was beyond friendly! Our room was very nice...the bed was extremely comfortable and the flat screen tv was a nice touch. The carpet was a little worn in some spots and the second floor location was a little noisy, but those were minor details. The drinks and snacks in the Cloud Club room were enjoyable and breakfast was decent! One improvement? Vending machines!

The hotel is in a nice location a few blocks from the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The room was quite pleasant, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the Cloud Club breakfast room on the top floor had a nice view. Had a great time at the Inner Harbor. Hotel 1 block away. Everyone was very nice at the hotel. Other reviews said downtown noise. So I just asked to be on a higher floor. No problem My room was on the 9th floor so I did not hear anything and slept real good. The Hot breakfast was awesome and a real breakfast over looking the City/Harbor on the top floor. We even went up to the breafast room late at night with a bottle of wine just to sit and look over the Harbor. Other people were also up there playing cards.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the street noise was bad, impossible to sleep without earplugs. Staff mainly well informed and friendly with some exeptions. Did not feel welcome when arriving, and the desk clerk went through the hotel regulations form lightning fast, turned out they took a solid "destination fee" of 10 dollars per day, still claiming that WiFi was "free of use". Altogether, the hotel is too pricey considering what you get for your money.

In my 25 years of business travel, this is the first hotel that I ever stopped and made the effort to write to the Manager to advise them of just how impressed I was with their facility and their staff. The rooms are well maintained and clean. However, it was the service that went over the top. EVERY employee I encountered treated me as if I were the single most important person staying in their Hotel. I am already planning on staying there this Summer with my family on our vacation.

Got a 2-3 star hotel rate at the Brookshire Inn, and received a 4 star hotel-like stay. Location was perfect, one block away from the Inner Harbor, and everything was tidy and in order. Only two complaints I had was that we got a queen size bed instead of a king size bed, and that the complimentary breakfast food was meh at best. However, you won't be disappointed with your stay.

This was a great place to stay from a quality stand point. Now for the other things that were a pain. The hotel fronts one of the busiest streets in Baltimore, and you have a great deal of traffic all of time. But at night there are emergency vehicles with sirens blaring all night. It took us two nights just to get use to that noise. Then, they charge you for parking which is $29.00 a day, and that adds up QUICK! Then, even though we paid for our reservation on this web site, they charged us $9.99 a day, and 13.5% tax at the hotel. In their defence, that included your breakfast everday, use of the fax, free internet, newspaper, and Mon.-Fri. two free cocktails and Hors-devers. If your visiting Baltimore, your best bet is to stay off of Nursery Road, and make the 15 minute drive into the water front. The hotels are cheaper w/free parking, and even for a days worth of parking downtown it will not cost you but $6-8 dollars. It is a nice hotel, but we will never stay there again.

For visiting Inner Harbor or the convention center, this hotel is one of the most convenient, just a couple of blocks from both. Service was friendly and competent. I called for directions from the car and had no trouble getting accurate friendly directions to the hotel. Arrived in cold pouring rain in rush hour to find reasonably priced valet parking service and quick friendly check in. Breakfast and PM snack and drink service was included. Breakfast was a mix of the delightful (fingerling and other exotic potatoes) and the ugly (stale bagels and the worst coffee I have encountered in years. PM snacks and drinks (free open bar) were great; cheeses, hummus, salads and other tasty munchies. Hotel is a little worn around the edges but my room was fine, clean and attractively decorated, well equipped, with internet access that worked the first time I tried it. The only problem was a toilet that needed several flushes to do its job. It is on a noisy street (Lombard) but heavy curtains blocked much of the street noise. When I checked out, my car was delivered almost instantly. I left feeling very good about my stay. It was an amazing value especially considering that there was a big trade show at the convention center and nearby hotels were charging two to four times what I paid.
