Thistle Westminster - Londres

This is not as good a Thistle Hotel as we have stayed in before..the customer service is mediocre at best and the rooms are noisey with very slow service for anything! Don't drive there as, for a hotel with this many rooms, they only have FIVE parking spaces!

Good hotel during the day but bar closes early and very difficult to get drinks after 11PM. Staff unhelpful until the duty manager called. Double bed more like a single bed and very hard.

The location is close to Buckingham Palace and VIctoria Station. The room is not what I call luxorious and the beds are really hard. Other than that, the hotel is fine.

Do not accommodate transatlantic guests with their room being available. Had to wait approximately 3 hours for room to be readied. It would be most helpful if rooms for overseas guest were ready upon arrival.

The location of the hotel was really convenient, virtually across the road from buckingham Palace. Upon arrival, i went to my room and it had not been cleaned from the previous occupier, I had to ask reception twice before it was made up some 3-4 hours later. Even then, the cleanliness was dubious and I had to clean the toilet before use! The room itself was a good size and facilites good. the air conditioning could be controlled in the room so a good temperature was achieved. I found the bed extremely comfortable and the pillows were bliss! However, trying to get hot water was impossible so I certainly did not enjoy the cold shower.

Good location rooms a little small but clean and fit for purpose.

For customers using Victoria Station as reference for their stay in London, this hotel offers the best location and value for money. Clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast and nice staff. However, be aware that there is not air condition in the rooms, which can be a bit uncomfortable during summer, at least for people from the tropics like me

Poor service at breakfast, waiting for eggs and bread for 5-10 min, re-examination every time that I have full breakfast coverage, one day no cleaning of the room

On arrival hotel could not find our booking for about half an hour we had to wait.Our room was ok but it had only luke warm water for the intire stay.The bar was suposed to remain open until one,as we had wanted anight cap after the theatre we headed to the bar to be met by a very grumpy barman who told us he was closing it was twelve thirty.

Great location!Food good,Don't order mixed drinks at the bar as they charge you extre for mixers.get the deluxe room!Concierge was great!

This HORRIBLE HOTEL is no where near a 4 star, more like a 1/2 or 1 star. There were NO porters to help with the bags, you had to walk sideways because the bed went from wall to wall, there was NO hot water to shave or shower by, the bed sheets were 10 inches from the bottom, resulting in us remaking the bed since there was NO housekeeping, and the design of the halls was like a rats maze.

good location and decent basic accomodations

This hotel was in a great location, close to Buckingham Palace and Victoria Station. The room was immaculate and the service was first rate. I will stay here again anytime I go to London.

This hotel "needs improvement". The bathroom was old but clean. We started to loose the hot water, and after 1 wk. we finally did. What is with no plastic shower curtain? They said they would give us a credit (which 2 days would be nice) but when I checked out they said I would have to get in touch with you because it was prepaid. It was also very cold, the heater was noisy and gave me a headache. Most of the staff was pleasant. I would not recommend this place, it definitely was not a 4 star as was stated. One or maybe 2 would be the most. Dee

This hotel offers an excellent location, just two blocks from Victoria Station and several blocks from St. James Park. Staff was very friendly and eager to please, and I was permitted to check in early, which after a transatlantic flight was great. Room decor and furniture were a bit "tired," but the bed was comfortable, and the windows blocked out the traffic noise just two floors below. A few things were taken care of quickly once I alerted the staff, such as malfunctioning sink faucet, malfunctioning TV, so I felt that everyone was making an effort to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was also a good value and good way to start the day. WiFi worked fine, which was important.

The plumbing needs an overhaul. It is old and tired and the water for the shower was cold. My stay was for one night only so I could manage. I had no hair dryer in the room.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel, the concierge's customer service was excellent, though we did not appreciate the news of the public transpotation no operting during the holiday, he made sure we had transportation to the airport. The car service driver checked the airport for confirmation of our flight and gate number. We would not only recommend this place to others we would return.

Overall good but breakfast service hopeless, as was the range of food on offer. Dinner looked like a bargain but the price quoted was without VAT, service and added about a quarter to the total.

The location of the hotel was great. It was a block away from victoria station and buck palace. The breakfest was great make sure to get a upgrade for the room when you get there, it was worth it. I live in the states and the room was not that big, so they offered me an upgrade for very little money and i jump on it. The concierge service was the best they will help you out with anything you wish for. They have tickets for everything there is to do in london, so you dont have to stay in line. The bathroom was very small and needed upgrade but it did not bother me much. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling from the states.

This hotel was not only very nice but its location was spectacular. Two blocks from Victoria Station. One block from Victoria Theatre. A few blocks from Westerminster Abbey, Big Ben, etc. This may be the best location for a hotel in all of London. And the staff was excellent. I will stay there again.

On check-in we were given a room where the air conditioning did not work (and hot out). The staff were courteous and moved us to another room that included a new floor standing air conditioner but the room turned out to be a bit smaller. That added luggage space would have been nice but we didn't have a good alternative. Hotel is showing its age and needs a remodel, excellent location for the tourist.

Staff were extremly helpful and pleasant. We stayed in a twin which was on the small side, but nontheless, comfortable. Buffet breakfast was excellent, it caters for everyone. Hotel is within walking distance from Victoria tube station.

It's a good value for the money, and you can't beat the location. It's a few minutes walk from both Victoria Station and Buck Palace. Breakfast was excellent.

Hotel di medio livello ma assolutamente non di lusso non ha nemmeno il minibar in camera , comodo per chi deve andare a Gatwick per la sua prossimità a Victoria Station A differenza di quanto censito sul sito nn ha la palestra e offre a pagamento un ticket per una struttura li vicino

Hotellet ligger simpelthen perfekt, hvis man kommer med bus eller tog til Victoria Station. Under 5 minutters gang. Alligevel i gåafstand til London City og alle seværdighederne. Hotelpersonalet ydede en utrolig god service. Værelserne kunne være lidt større, men skal man kun overnatte er de perfekte. Der var dog en del støj fra udsugning på badeværelse. Hotellet havde ikke modtaget besked om, at vores bestilling var inkl. morgenmad og vores papirer var på dansk. Det var ikke smart - men de stolede på vores forklaring, så alt gik uden de store problemer - men husk jeres reservationspapirer og gerne på engelsk,

Det var ikke varmt vann på rommet, hverken i dusj eller vask. Dette klarte de ikke å rette på i løpet av 4 dager. Ellers var alt helt utmerket.

Ett bra hotell som inte sticker ut med bra läge nära Victoria station och Buckingham Palace.

Situato dietro Bukingam Palace, è molto centrale e comodo da raggiungere. Pulito e camere abbastanza grandi visti gli standard londinesi. Consigliable.
