the room is too small.

5 minute call to Europe cost close to $50.00 dollars. The hotel claims AT&T as long distance carrier, however same carrier from pay telephone cost less than $15.00. In two stays have not been able to get MIA/WiFi to work. The system keeps rejecting valid credit cards. Most other hotels in the MIA area have either free WiFi or hardwired internet connections.

Hotel was ok, about what one would expect for a 3 star at this price. By far the reason to stay there is its location within the Miami airport, for an overnight connection. The restaurant at the top of the hotel was very good and the staff there were excellent.

We had a morning flight, so we took Tri-Rail from Palm Beach County to the airport. It was wonderful rolling out of bed and checking in. Yes, rooms are small, but they're for one-night stays. Very clean.

July 30th 2009 This is my 5th stay in the hotel.The last stay was July 26th 2009. Not because I liked it so much, but more for the convenience. After a long flight when you are tired and need to rest for catching another flight the next morning, this hotel is good for these overnight stays only. Not very comfortable. Both the bedroom and the bathroom are too small. Now there is a coffeemaker in the room. The food in the restaurant on the 7th floor was good. The front desk clerk was very nice to me. My flight the next day was at 04.00 PM and I could check out at 02.00PM in stead of noon.

Hotel was what we expected. if you are laying overnight as we did. this is the hotel to stay at. the terminal is around the corner.

This hotel is a great stay for overnight stopovers between flights. The room was clean and convenient but very cramped. The bathroom was tight and you had to close the door on the TV cabinet to get from one side of the bed to the bathroom. The direct access from within the airport is a great feature and offsets the limitations of the room. After all, it is just a place for a quick sleep!

I chose a very modest room and found it to be perfect for my needs. Travelling alone and needing only an overnight stay I found the room to be everything I needed--comfortable, well appointed, and, most important, convenient to my morning flight out of Miami. Anyone in my situation should consider the Miami International Airport Hotel for a comfortable, convenient layover.

Amazing how you can sleep right next to the tarmac and not hear a thing!

When I alighted from the elevator to go to my room there was a strong stench of stale and rotten food in the corridor. there was a nearby garbage bin which seemed not to cleared for days.

No way around it, the rooms are small. However, given the available space, the room was nicely laid out and highly functional. Large bathroom a plus. Clean. And for an overnight stay between connecting Miami flights, outstandingly convenient.

We had a 12 hour layover with a very early morning flight, the location of this hotel was such a life saver. The room was small but clean and comfortable and provided easy access to our flight the next morning. When you factor in the price of a cab and tip to another hotel near by, the airport hotel is an excellent value for the money. Would defiently stay here again.

This hotel is in Miami airport. It was so nice to exit security at the entrance to the hotel. Our flight got in at almost midnight, so was nice to not have to wait for shuttle or cab to get to hotel. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. We do recomend this hotel to friends and we will stay again.

The hotel service is great and staying at the airport is very convenient. The rooms are small and are not in the best of shape. But if you are looking for the convenience of staying at the airport due to a late arrival and early flight the next day, as I was, then you will not be disappointed.

This hotel is great for an overnight connection. We arrived around 11:30 pm and our next flight was at 11:30 am the next morning. The hotel lobby is in the airport so it is very convenient. Check in was a breeze. The rooms were small but clean and served the purpose. The rooms are sound proofed from the outside noise. The only thing I could say negative is that since our connection was later in the morning, we could hear all the people leaving with early connections. Overall, well worth it to not have to sleep in chair or on the floor in the terminal.

The hotel was very convenient...only a short walk from my arrival gate and baggage claim. The room was very small, but fine for a short stay. The front desk staff didn't seem to pay attention that were was a line to check in and helped people that walked up in front of the line.

The room that we were given was right near the staff service door and kept slamming closed every 15 seconds over the three hours that we were there. It was so loud we ended up checking out after three hours! The room was so small that you couldn't close the bathroom door because it would scrape the toilet bowl!

We traveled with a 3 year old and 1 year old and needed a hotel room for one night in Miami. It was very convenient and I would recommend it for that reason, but for only that reason. The room was cramped and the crib mattress was so thin that we couldn't let our son sleep on what felt no better than the hard floor. He slept in the bed with my husband instead, and therefore my husband didn't sleep very well. The top of the hotel restaurant was very good for breakfast; just expect to pay hotel prices for the food. Overall I would stay there again if we had a flight out of Miami the next morning, but for no other reason.

We stayed in this hotel both on our way to and returning from Barbados. Our flight was late getting into Miami from Seattle so it was really a convenient place to stay without having to worry about a cab or shuttle to our hotel at 11pm. Also convenient with early departing flights. However, the rooms are tight...had to turn sideways to pass between the bed and TV armoire, and the bathroom door couldn't be opened without hitting the toilet. Also seemed like very thin walls, able to hear doors slam, water run, etc. However, for one night the conviences probably outweigh the negatives.

If you need a place to stay in-between flights there's no beating this location-it's literally on your way to the E terminal. No driving or leaving the airport required. Staff is friendly and competent. Rooms are updated but very small. No airport noise. Lobby bar is a bit sad and food limited, but you're not staying here to eat/drink. Achieved its purpose-decent room, okay price, airport location.

we were headed to the florida keys. arrived in miami at midnight and slept at the airport hotel. returning home we had a very early flight so we spent the preceding night at the hotel again. it was very convenient and the room was satisfactory for the limited time we spent there.

as you can imagine the location is the only thing going for this place. Room was clean, comfortable, A/C system needs maintenace, overall fairly clean----can only recommend if you have an early flight or just need the convenience of an on airport property------

Prepare for the cleaning staff that comes roaring through the halls at 8:00 AM, so, if you want to sleep in, plan on getting up then to tell them to stop the shouting. The rooms lack: coffee maker, iron, mini bar, microwave, hair conditioner, blow dryer and a chair at the desk/table. The rooms are very cramped, just one foot between the foot of the bed and the oversized entertainment center so be careful not to stub a toe or to walk into the entertainment center door. When I arrived there was food on room service trays in the hall which I pointed out to the bellhop since the onions smelled so bad. I was told, "so call the front desk." "No" I said, "I already told you". So add attitude to my list.

Comfortable beds, quiet rooms and great location. Two things to change would be selection of nearby restaurants. No good ones at the airport, should have splurged and tried the restaurant at the top of the hotel. Second would be the hotel should improve the service of their front desk. All they do is check people in, not much life there or attention to your request.

We go on a missions trip to Haiti every year and need to stay overnite in Miami to catch the flight to Haiti the next morning. This is a great place to stay as it is right outside the American Airlines terminal. You do not have to walk outside or catch a shuttle. The rooms are a bit pricy but for the convenience factor we don't mind the price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is in Miami for a short time and uses American airlines

The check in lady was not at all nice. She is a bit bigger with glasses....avoid her. The others were quite nice. Also the restraunt was a little pricey but excellent food. Also the bar tender in the lobby bar was awesome!! Very nice lady!!
