Perfect room, location and staff. Didn't get to use all the facilities at the hotel as busy outside enjoying ourselves but would like to go back and use as a base for touring the area. Breakfast a little pricey - could be more competative.

Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el ago 23, 2009.
Excellent location for business and exploring Boston. My wife and I stayed at the Langham and enjoyed our stay in Boston. While I was on business during the day, she was able to walk all over the city and explore the incredible history of the city. We had a choice to stay near the convention center, but those hotels are remote from the history of the city. The weather was great and I walked most mornings and afternoon to the convention center - about a 10 minute walk. The hotel staff was most friendly and worked with us regarding our room choice upon check-in. Our airline had lost our luggage and the Concierge was most helpful in recommending shopping for us for clothes until our luggage arrived. The hotel was gracious and took care of getting our luggage from the airlines and delivered to our room while we were out at an event. The spa, pool and workout facilities are simply incredible. The best that I have experienced while traveling. We did not experience meals at the hotel, but did visit the restaurants and they looked great but the food was expensive. I highly recommend that you consider the Boston Langham for your next stay in Boston. You will not be disappointed.

We loved this hotel. It is in the heart of the business district and we were traveling for pleasure. The area around the hotel shut down on Saturday and Sunday. THere was a dunkin donuts down the street, but not a lot of travel amenities right around the hotel. That being said, nothing is a far walk in Boston. We loved the hotel staff, and room and the bar, restaurant. Would recommend.

Our first trip to Boston was a lot of fun. The Langham is in an excellent location and the room and staff were great. We walked to most places and took the T out to Harvard. Our concierge, Daniel, was extremely helpful and friendly. We will be back.

This hotel was everything we wanted. The location was perfect. We only have one complaint, they say they have parking, but when we checked out, we were charged a parking fee. So with tip it was over 40 for them to park our car for one night.

When we were looking for a hotel in Boston the Langham took our eye straight away - we continued searching – but ultimately it was here that we booked our stay because, for us, it won hands down on all that it offered. On arrival we were not disappointed. Our room overlooked the post office gardens and was an extremely good size and very comfortable. We have visited New York before and paid a similar price for less. The location was excellent, in the Financial District, we were only a 5 minute walk from Fanueil Hall and Quincy Market and a 10 minute walk from Boston Common (these timings are based on a Boston stroll). It was very easy to walk everywhere - and if you ever stopped to look at a map, somebody would ask "can I help you" and would point you in the right direction. There are lots of restaurants nearby, although we would recommend trying the many varied foods from Quincy Market. Walking the Freedom Trail also helps to get your bearings of the city. We always looked out for the clock tower to find our way back to the hotel. The staff were always friendly and extremely helpful - providing us with a Tea Maker as well as a coffee maker and 2% milk in the minibar. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, Boston is a very pretty city with lots to see and do and we the swimming pool and sauna were perfect for relaxing those tired limbs. The Langham is an excellent base point. We would certainly stay here again if we return to Boston.

I selected this hotel because the reviews were excellent (4+), and I was not disappointed. In fact, I'd say the hotel exceeded my expectations, especially for the price I paid. My 10 year old daughter and I had just spent a week in New York City, and hotels are obviously not cheap. This hotel was not only close to Quincy Market, the Aquarium and the Boston Waterfront, but luxury was the word of the day. The hotel staff were unbelievable. Turndown service with chocolates was provided every night, to the point where towels and the complimentary slippers were laid out bedside. The indoor pool was absolutely wonderful, and the locker rooms included a sauna, showers, etc. We did not use the fitness center, but what we saw of it was exceptional. Our room was quiet, but there was a night club on the other side of the building, so those folks may have heard something. The bathroom was very large and the towels were bath sheets. Thick terry robes were provided, and ended up being the perfect thing to take to the pool and wear back to the room after using the bathing suit spinner to help dry off the suits. This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, and well worth the reasonable (for Boston, that is) price I paid.

We've been to this hotel several times and have been very pleased. However, this time the room was small, with an outdated TV with lousy reception. The former charming lounge has changed into a "night club" and was swarming with 20-somethings when we got back after a night out. We were hoping to have a quiet nightcap but a bouncer was at the door and looked horrified that we wanted to go in (we didn't). We went to breakfast on Sunday before leaving at 10:00 am and they rushed us out because we hadn't paid for the "jazz brunch" that was starting at 11:00. God forbid we heard the music. I'm surprised they didn't charge us for that. Very disappointing stay.

The Langham is wonderful hotel in the Financial District of Boston. We were able to get a great rate at almost the last minute as the hotel was not fully booked. We had one of the smallest rooms, but it was plenty big enough for us and overlooked the lovely Post Office Square Park. Beautifully furnished room and excellent service. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to Fanueil Hall Marketplace, waterfront, North End, Boston Common and Freedom Trail. The hotel restaurants are quite expensive, but worth a splurge. There are many restaurants within walking distance in all price ranges - the North End has over a hundred Italian restaurants alone. We definitely recommend The Langham. You won't be disappointed.

Our stay at The Langham Hotel was superb. Classic charm, and great service. Visited the new Bond Lounge and Restaurant and it was fantastic. The food, service and drinks are second to none, nothing like it in all of Boston. I used the health club and Chuan Spa, all I can say is incredible, a must try. What impressed me also is how clean everything is, the rooms, the health club etc. I have been at many 5 star hotels and this hotel is right up there with the very very best of them. I definitely will go back again.

The Langham is located in the financial district in a converted Federal Reserve Bank building. The facility has a European atmosphere and is quite elegant. What set this hotel apart from most others that I stay in (both for business and pleasure) was the quality of the service. From the housekeepers, to the pool staff and especially the "Dans" at the concierge desk, everyone bent over backwards to ensure that our stay was fantastic.

I stay at lots of hotels and The Langham greatly exceeded my expectations. The room had a nice slanted glass wall on one side that made the room so interesting. The linens and curtains were a step above the normal. I mainly took the room so my grandchildren could enjoy the pool. Again, it was much better than I expected. The pool, hot tub and sauna were all resort quality. And the staff couldn't have been more helpful, personal and kind. Wonderful hotel! Couldn't find anything wrong with it and would go back in a moment.

I had never stayed in Boston before so did not know what to expect in a "downtown" hotel. To be sure I was more than pleased with the room, the comfort, the courtesy of the attendants, and the little touches like coffee and tea in the morning, particularly at the price negotiated by the provider. One only drawback was that use of the computers for e-mail was a bit pricey. Access to public transit is blocks away apart from taxi. All in all I am happy to recommend this hotel.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. It was definitely a splurge for my friend and I but it was absolutely luxurious and the service was outstanding! Anything we asked for, they always responded with, "My pleasure." I felt like royalty. The seam of my favorite sweater had come apart and I asked if they could fix it. Their seamstress did it within 20 minutes at no charge! Amazing! They were helpful with every question we had and the experience of being there added so much to the relaxation and enjoyment of our trip!

The room was very comfortable, service was great, the price matched the level of service, and many Boston attractions were within easy walking distance. I thought the valet parking fee was a little steep, but not too unreasonable. The housekeeping service was great (the rooms were always tidy and clean), but they started very early in the morning and could be heard through the walls and doors. Because this is a hotel in Boston's financial district, I assume most occupants were early-rising business people who left the hotel earlier than we did. Therefore, I could not fault the hotel for us wanting to sleep in later than business people do. Overall, though, I would stay at The Langham again and recommend it to others.

This hotel is a little pricey but it was worth the money. The room was clean, quiet (even tho there was construction right outside our window), and felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room- very comfortable!! The staff is very professional and friendly. The location is perfect if your looking to do things around Boston. We didn't need to drive at all. Most things were within a short walk and things that weren't, the subway is nearby (red/ green/ orange/ blue and silver). We would definitely stay here again, once we save enough for it :0)

If you are looking to spend money to be high brow this is the place to be. The location is not worth the cost...room was very small ....The concierge was unable to assist us with finding a recommended lunch cafe...and unable to assit with where to find coffee on a Sunday morning! We were sent to places that were all closed on Sundays.... Costs for everything are inflated.....per minute use of hotel internet computers! Construction blocked the normal entrance to Julian's Bar and the Restaurant...had to walk through what seemed to be an emergency only exit door through a crowded dining room laid out like a maze....to get to the bar. Door was unmarked and there was no one stationed at the entrance to assist the many confused guests trying to find the entrance. For the cost I expected much much better.
