This hotel provides luxery as well as comfort. The staff was extremly polite. The only thing I did not like is I was charged 50.oo for moving some items the snack tray and since they were not placed back in the proper spot I was chargewd for them as if they had been consumed. Live and learn put things back exactly where you got it from dont end up paying 50 bucks for nuts.....

We loved everything about the hotel. One small thing was they had a full ice box...It would have been nice to have a small one that was empty for our water. But another then that everything else was prefect!! Great location to the airport too.

This is a good airport hotel with a large scale lobby and lobby bar that is viaually exciting, and nice rooms with the Westin bedding, all good. Parking fees and Internet fees are annoying, but the room rate more than offset this. Have eaten lunch at the restaurant twice and was favorably impressed, once very very favorably.

I've stayed in Westins before, but this one was a below standards. From torn furniture and night stand wood pealing off to seedy locals hanging around the bar and lobby. It was just bunk.

When I pulled up to the hotel They told me I had two options. Valet parking or regular parking per night. I won't post the rates here because Hotels.com won't allow it but let it suffice to say that parking was very expensive and not included in the hotel stay. They have a monopoly on the parking because the area around the hotel is not the safest and there is not much parking otherwise. Great hotel, but beware of very expensive parking. I would not stay here again solely based on that.

I booked a room for my father for graduation weekend, and he was rejected a room for an hour an a half because the hotel could not find his reservation. He tried to check in at 10:30 and could not secure a room until 12:00a! They cast my father aside and checked in others when they should have worked with him right away in order to get his room. He got back in line multiple times just so he could talk to a front desk agent. Furthermore, the front desk staff had him jumping around to different people to explain his situation, and multiple times they said they could not do anything for him and asked him to step out of the line. This is not acceptable! When he was able to talk to an agent, they had me make calls to hotels.com in order to make sure his reservation was correct. They should have done this; this is their job to confirm reservations, not me. And when I talked to a supervisor, he said there was nothing he could do. I'm pretty sure that if he had anyone waiting an hour an a half for a hotel error, there should definitely be something that he could've done. I wanted to find a nice place for my dad to stay for my graduation and I am utterly shocked with their horrible service. This hotel lacked attention to detail. I do not recommend people who are simply looking for a place to stay to come here. I would probably have better luck at a Motel 8.

Internet is $12 dollars a day (should be free). Parking is $18 a day (really should be free). There is a kennel behind the hotel so you can hear dogs barking most of the night. We complained about the noise and they waved the parking fee (we didn't get the internet).

I have stayed at the Westin in the past on business but never for a personal stay. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was great. No complaints and would stay again.

Convenient/close to the airport. Consistent with what you would expect from a Westin (the heavenly bed and shower), clean, and comfortable. The area isn't that great. The pool was small, but this is probably one of the best hotels near LAX.

I reserved a deluxe double at the Westin. The room was run down: worn furniture, dented lamp shades and lighting that didn't work, crooked frame on the wall, dirty carpet, cracked sink in the bathroom, no robes provided. The lobby furniture and carpet were worn as well. When I checked out, I was asked about the hotel. I said, "the stay was less than heavenly." The front desk clerk said the hotel was scheduled for a renovation. Let's hope the "scheduling" happens immediately!

There was a dance convention there at the time and the entire lobby is consumed with tables and people running around. Not quiet and the room was run down. I would not stay there again.

Everything about this hotel is great, except that it has a dog boarding kennel behind it. Yes you read that right. I would recommend asking for a room in the front or away from the kennel noise. Thank God we had ear plugs. Our flight arrived very late and we planned on sleeping in, but early in the morning the dogs start barking and wake you up.

We had to ask for soap for the shower. They seem to be saving money in the wrong places. Our parking ticket was authorized and didn't work until it was authorized a second time. Not very experienced staff. The elevators are under construction and only one bank stops on certain floors making for very long waits.

Airport hotels are not vacation destinations, we go there for meetings and conferences. The LAX Westin has Great People. Great value on room rates. A variety of meeting spaces including a theater. Free airport shuttle every 15 minutes. Good bar/restaurant on-site, plus within a block there is a McD, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Subway and a great local cafe with a widely varied menu. Pool, hot tub, weight room. Some rooms give a view of LAX runways.

this hotel didn't feel like a Westin. It really needs some renovations. Plus, I asked for a quiet room and was put on the street side. Room service forgot part of the entree. Just not what I expect from a Westin.

Beautiful lobby with sitting area and bar open till 1am. Nice spacious room. Free print of boarding tickets if you're flying. Cons: no free wifi and parking is $18 per day. At least you have in/out privilidges.

I thought the hotel was very nice. I live close by so just went there for a weekend getaway....I really liked the bed and the linens, they were really nice and comfortable. The hotel restaurant had a healthy menu. We had breakfast and it was delicious (egg white organic omeletes, etc...)...really good.

I believe another reviewer made the comment "the worst Westin I've stayed in". I have to say that review stuck in my head, and I almost didn't choose this hotel for that reason. However, I thought, how bad can it be. I was really disappointed in the quality of this hotel. It definitely fell short of the Westin standards. For the price and the location, it was fine, but I would have expected the cleanliness and disrepair from a Radisson or a Best Western. It served it's purpose, but it felt like a rundown airport hotel. I stayed at the Sheraton Gateway later in the week and it was marginally better. I would choose the Sheraton over the Westin next time.

We stayed the hotel because of convenience and also the name. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the hotel. The reasons are; 1) The coffee maker seemed like it hadn't been used for a while. Dust on the top of the maker. So, we cleaned the inside very carefully. 2) We could not use the safety box. I tried to reset the code, but it did not work. We were about to leave for an appointment, so we didn't have time to call a repairman. We just carried the valuable items with us. 3) There was a big chair, a kind of a lazy boy, but it did not seem clean. We put two bath towels to set on the chair. 4) The explanation of the phone usage, phone charges was not clear, so we spent the phone bills more than expected. For the above reasons, we were not satisfied with the hotel with the price.

I have stayed there twice in the past year. The first time I was very impressed and chose it the next visit. This time the carpets were stained, food trays all over the hallways that were not picked up after room service, generally needed upgrading. I thought maybe I was on another floor last year and they gave the shabbier floor to us. The bellmen and concierge were great and the beds were very comfortable on the positive side.

After many many nights at Westin hotels over the years, this Westin was unsatisfactory. From the endless waits for the elevators to the funky damp and putrid smell in the room and especially the bathroom, it was a disappointing experience. I have come to know Westin as a brand with reliable standards, well, perhaps this was just an anomoly. The front desk personnel were great.

The worst Westin I have ever stayed in. Front desk was not accommodating, I paid for upgrade and when I told them about upgrade they wanted to downgrade. Rooms smelled like chemical air freshener. Housekeepins staff was very nice. If you are used to other Westin hotels and expect the same level don't stay here.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel per se, but I was disappointed by the amount I paid and what I got. I am not too worried since my company paid for it but still I expected better. That said I would stay there again. The staff was wonderful except in the restaurant where I received sub par service for the price. Also, they had a good workout facility. I was just disappointed with the size of the room and the amenities based on the price. The restaurant was over priced but there are other places to eat within walking distance.

THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT BUT YHE PRICE OF THE FOOD WAS TOO TOO HIGH. MY HUSAND AND I ORDERED A 2 CHESSEBURGERS AND FRIES OUR LIKE WAS LIKE $45.00 TO $50.00 FOR US 2 EAT. This hotel is very close to LAX airport, but the cost to park per day is $18. It was a bit noisy at night & the bed was a bit too firm although it was HUGE! Despite these minor things we would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay at a hotel close to the airport. The room service is quick.

I selected the hotel based on the reviews, but there were so many problems, it's hard to begin: The a/c reeked of mildew, the telephone receiver was so dirty I didn't want to touch it, and the carpet was stained and grimy. The hotel operator spoke little English, so that callers had to spell my name several times to be connected to my room (my name is short and very common. The network server was down during most of my 48-hour stay. If your check-in clerk forgets to issue you with a special parking ticket and explain the process, you'll find yourself unable to leave the lot with your first ticket. Even the omelettes in this place are indifferent. I won't be going back.

This is a beautiful hotel with all the amenities you would expect at a Westin... spacious room, wonderful bed. I was very, very satisfied with the value for what I paid. My only complaint is that there was a little mildew on the shower walls, and that the tub drain was out and sitting on the side of the tub. The free internet wasn't working the day the I was there, but that happens, so would not deter me from returning

Rooms were clean- Hotel looks great- but service is low: just plastic cups (3) in the room. The bath tube can only be filled at 10 inches maximum. Staff is not friendly ( reception). Good is the complementary taxi service to the airport (10 minutes).
