The hotel is absolutely fantastic. The room was very clean and stylish with a tasty decore and fitted air con. The bed provided the best nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel and it was surprisingly quiet as with being next to the train station I expected to hear some noise but the double window provided an effective barrier to block the noise out. The staff were excellent in providing high standards of service. The receptionist was very helpful with helping us find a local place to eat outside the hotel and the bar staff were great in providing a good standard of service when we got back for a drink or two before going off to bed. All that for the low prices offered through this website is an absolute bargain to be had, especially when you think some traveodge and premier inn rooms can cost anything up to £70.00!

Bar and reception area appear quite impressive but get into the corridors and rooms and everything is a bit tired looking. Nice big flatscreen TV but thats about all the room had going for it. The kettle/tea/coffee was hidden away in a drawer and you have to take out the whole tray then try and find somewhere to plug it in ??? Breakfast - buffet style, cold stuff was OK but hot food was cooked too far in advance and bacon and eggs were hard (even though I was down there just after 8am). I would have been very disappointed if I'd paid the £19 they charged as a standalone for it. Car park was extra £13.50 even though it belonged to the Hotel. Overall - not impressed, there' s lots of newer, cheaper and better hotels in Leeds centre so find somewhere else if you're staying in the city.

Receptionist not really organised or efficient. A few people complaining that they didnt get what they had booked. One floor for smoking rooms but nobody seem to have ash trays. Breakfast should have been included but they had us down as room only.

I love staying in the Hilton when ever I travel. Certainly weren't disappointed. Nice clean room, very friendly staff who made you feel at home from beginning to departure. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel... dinner was really good and quite large portions - actually way to big if you're having a 3 course meal. Only thing that did annoy me was the breakout area, which is adjacent to the dining room. It was really noisy to the point that I had to move to table much further away. If I could change one thing to the hotel it would be to incorporate this section with the dining room and move breakout area further away.

Dated hotel with poor room maintenance & difficult/expensive parking. The telephone in our room did not work - we had to report problems using our mobile telephone. The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy and could not be turned off. The staff had to turn the aircon off by switching off the power externally. This meant we had no way of turning it back on when the room became unberably hot during the night. The following morning we also found that the hair dryer did not work. We were offered use of another room 3 floors below. Overnight parking was extremely expensive - £14. The car park was very tight and likelihood of damage high - we were relived to get out without a scrape. There were also a very limited number of spaces, all but one was taken.

We stayed in the Hillton in Leeds for one night it was a lovely hottel but the only down fall was that we had top pay for parking the car in there car park wich was a extra we did not no we had to pay for. We only had one pillow to each bed with no ohter piullows in the room to use.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff. We booked an executive room which was really nice. Unfortunately at the weekend there are a lot of partygoers and the noise from 03:00 am will stop us staying there at the weekend, but would definately return mid-week.

The Hilton is very central and right beside the train station. The deluxe room was fairly small when compared to other hotels (e.g. Novotel) but had most of the things you'd expect. Also, as the room was right beside the lifts and on the station side there was a lot of noise. The walls and doors seemed to allow in a lot more noise than one would expect. I don't think you should be able to hear the room next door making a cup of tea. The restaurant food was good, although the 30 minurte wait for a burger was a bit much considering there were only about 15 people in the restaurant. The Hilton is a nice hotel but nothing special.

Upon arrival, hotel queried my on line booking. Upon sight of confirmation this was quickly rectified. When arriving in my room I found no towels, when these were requested they arrived within 20 minutes. I would have expected to have found towels in a 4 star hotel. The reception staff were friendly and sorted all problems quickly. The next morning there was also a query over breakfast, however this was also resolved when looking at the confirmation. As this was a group stay it was a little embarrasing to have to query details on a regular basis. Otherwise the hotel was clean although not to 4 star standard.

We travelled over from Ireland and we arrived early for our stay and was delighted that our room was ready, it was 7.15am. The receptionist was very helpful and always had a smile on her face! The room was very comfortable and clean! Breakfast was lovely, the many choices made me want to stay there longer! Overall i will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family here that want to visit Leeds and when i come over again i will definately stay there again! Thank you.

arrived to find parking expensive however literally next door is the arches car park with reasonable rates , room was comfortable was a bit shabby and could do with being decorated. however was clean and staff very helpful and friendly, would stay there again if we got a half price deal again as we would of been very dissapointed if we had paid the full price

on arrival found the delux room to be of small size,no bath robes was supplied when they should of been and when requested them was not brought any by house keeping,toilet seat was chipped and moved when sat on,the smell from basin(plug hole) in bathroom was unplesant and to top it off was kept awake all night by the sound of trains engines revving up all the time and setting off from the station next to the hotel and we was on the 8th floor. It was ment to be a two night relaxing romantic/birthday weekend away which turned out us canceling the second night and returning home for some rest and sleep. :-(

Going to the hotel, you enter a hotel known for it's class and boy does it look smart. The hotel looked professional and very hospitalble, but check in was delayed because they didn't clean room in time. Staying at the Hilton Hotel, we found that the hotel offer a lot of stuff, but often with a lot of catches. Having a meal even had a hidden charge (suppliment charges) and full english breakfast was £17.95 each - which even for a top class hotel is extortionate. Going to the hotel, the hotel offers it's own car park, but this also comes at a cost, for £13.50 a night to park at the hotel you stay at is also very money grabbing, and the trust in this hotel has gone. The food is very nice, and argueably one of the best meals I have ever had at a hotel, but this comes at a price. Room was nice but compared to a 3 star hotel, and TV offered freeview channels, but these were also limited to the worst channels. It just seems taht for a night at a 4 star hotel, you are paying less for the night over and paying more for the wages of the staff which spoiled the mood of the hotel. Would not recommend at all to anyone

After trudGing through the snow on Sunday night after a long train journey the Leeds City Hilton was a particulary welcome sight. It's close to the train station, (within safe walking distance), but without any noise from nightclubs, etc. Very welcoming and helpful staff and an uncomplicated check in process. Clean, comfortable rooms with everything a one night business traveller might need, including getting something to eat after a late arrival. There was a wide selection on the breakfast menu, from pastries and cereals to the 'Full English'. I would definately stay there again. I'm only disappointed that I didn't have time to use all the health suite facilities.

Good location, right next to the train station and close to the shopping districts - room in very good condition - bed very very comfy - room service took a while to arrive and a few items we tried to order werent available - but was very tasty - would highly recommend this hotel

yeah it was a pleasant stay at the hilton. easy reach to shops and bars!! the most comfortable bed i have ever stay in!! the only down fall was there should have been more toilitries in the room i was wanting a shower gel. it cost me £6.20 for a tea and a coffee down stairs but i would come back again.

The hotel didn't have enough ample parking, the chamber maids were far too noisy in the morning outside the rooms when we had' Do Not Disturb' on the door. The 24hr room service menu finished at 10pm which was inconvenient as we were working late! The bar was over priced!

A super hotel within a couple of hundred yards of the railway station. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay except that the bathroom drains had a stale smell. We had to keep the door closed but the cleaners left it open. The exit ramps to the car park 'pinch'. We have a Mercedes C Class and that was O.K. but anything bigger might struggle

I booked this hotel for a girly night away and was suitably impressed. Although check in was stated as 3pm we arrived around 12 and all 7 rooms were ready so we checked in straight away. The rooms were clean and spacious and more than adequate for a good nights sleep. The reception staff were also helpful when we asked for directions and in getting us taxis to go out. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a clean hotel right in the city centre.

Very nice room with good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. Convenient location. Breakfast was excellent (and included) Bar prices were a bit high; food prices were very high, I didn't get an opportunity to use the spa. My remote control didn't work, unfortunately.

Breakfast was superb! Staff were attentive and polite. The decor of my room was quite homogenous, but it was well maintained. Other guests seemed happy. This is a traditional and unimaginative looking hotel with an unwelcoming entrance hall, but overall that did not spoil the comfort of my stay one bit.

The Hilton in Leeds is pretty much what one expects of a well known chain used a lot by business clients. I was amazed that they had a shower curtain though - I thought people had stopped using them years ago! They are nasty tacky things which no decent hotel should dream of using!

The room temperature was stifling and the air conditioning did not work. There was no mini bar for a quick drink. The bathroom was a bit dilapidated. The reception and bar area were very nice though. Unfortunately I dented my car trying to get round the extremely narrow exit ramps.

Hotel was pretty close to the train station and pretty impressive on arrival. We had 3 rooms booked including one suite. Check in was quick and hassle free - staff polite and friendly. It was well worth the extra money for the suite. Plenty of space and the rooms were immaculate. Used the pool once and facilities again were clean and staff friendly.
