Nothing extraordinary. Just needed a room for the night. Attending a function in town that we could just walk right across the street to so it was convenient. Didn't care for the extra resort fee charged (for things like the internet, pool, phone service, etc.) since we didn't even use any of these.

Been here before, about once a year for past 10 years or so. Never had a bad experience - very pleasant employees; neat and clean and spacious. Just be aware, that like many Las Vegas hotels, over the past few years they have invoked additional charges over and above quoted Room Rates. These can cover anything from additional taxes to environmental fees (to cover water usage, laundry fees, etc).

Great room for the money. Valets were very helpful with directions and when we got there we told them we would be leaving again very soon so not to bury the car, they left it in a very safe easy access spot and just gave me the keys to drive it away. We waited a little too long to check-in but that happens. Good dinner in the mexican restaurant.

Recently, I got a price for the Boulder Station Hotel that was too good to be true. Of course, it really was too good to be true. In the fine print of the contract, the hotel charged a "resort fee" on each room for each night's stay. Perhaps this is not too bad as I need internet access when I travel on business anyway, and this is a fairly typical charge in Las Vegas, but this surely is no resort (the pool was about the typical size of a pool you would find at someone's house). My main gripe is that it seems a bit underhanded to not build this into the room rate, but instead make the customer pay upon arrival. (Yes, it was ultimately my fault for not paying closer attention to the contract details.) Also, it was disconcerting that they used a credit card imprint (the old-fashioned press of your card with ink on a piece of paper) instead of a magnetic swipe. I never feel comfortable with people imprinting my card, and this is not an historic hotel without modern equipment, generally speaking. Beware of this and check your credit card activity when you leave. Finally, another surprise -- and this was a first for me -- was a drunkard passed out against the door of my room after a long day of meetings on my second night. Fortunately, I was traveling with another colleague, so we called security from his nearby room to have the situation handled. This added 20 minutes to my evening when I really just wanted to rest. It also tells me that some of the clientele at the hotel are not exactly classy. I won't go into any details about the mildew on the shower curtains or the poor location of the hotel... Bear these things in mind if you decide to stay at the Boulder Station Hotel. I won't be going there again.

We received a great rate from Hotels.com but when we went to check into the hotel they added $12..99 per night as an "Amenity Fee." They said this was for use of the pool, fitness area, covered parking, etc. They have always had this fee but it used to be $4.95, didn't like it then, hate it now. We will not go back to this hotel. It is not so much the money as it is the deception. They tell you about this fee as you are checking in, what else can you do but accept it and move on. That's what I did with the idea that I would seek my revenge on the hotels.com review site and by not going back.

The beds are very bad, the staff is not friendly at all.

It's hidden when making the reservation. I guess that's how they get people to stay there. Had I known this I would have not stayed here. And I won't stay here again.

It was a great experience, but expected advance room fees, even if you don't use the services.

I'd heard less than glowing reviews of the Boulder Station and that it had gone downhill with the recession, but I got tremendous rates and needed to be over on the Henderson side of town so gave it a shot. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff was all very friendly and efficient. I was given a room on the 3rd floor which was fine except that it was at roof level with no view at all. So after the first couple of nights I asked to be moved higher and they moved me to the 14th floor. The room had a little more wear but was still good and had a view of the city. I had put out the DO NOT DISTURB sign after the first night since so many places now do almost nothing for people staying more than one night. But she said that she'd come back later to make sure it was freshened up for me. Same thing happened on the 14th floor. It's nice to see them commit to that level of service even in this economy when most are trying to cut corners to save. I also really liked the shampoo and lotion (also had conditioner but I don't use it). I can't comment on the quality of the product but I really liked it and there was a generous amount in the bottles. I only ate at the breakfast buffet--I hadn't planned to do that until I saw the big tray of delicious looking watermelon--but it was just fine. Nothing extraordinary but nothing lacking (except no butter???). Stations have always been known for having decent food but I'd heard that they had made cutbacks on quality during these difficult times. But not that I could tell. The only gripe I had was that I had difficulty connecting to the internet and had to call tech support a couple of times and actually have someone come up to my room to repair broken equipment once. Inconvenient. I didn't need it that much but it was a necessity a couple of times. That was a nuisance but they did get it working and considering that was the only problem I had at all, I'd say I was pleased overall. I'd definitely stay again.

When you check in you are told there is an service fee which was close to an additional 50% of the room rate quoted. It was not an option and covered services that we did not use or need.

I loved the hotel. Had playtations and xbox for my kids, and movietheater in the hotel. They have a nice buffet with lots of got food.The room we had was facing the strip so at night time we had a nice view. I wanna plan a trip just to stay at this hotel.

Hotel & Casino are a good place for stay, however the room service was not clean 100%. Personally, needs improvement. Also, the extra fee charge a day made no sence!

The air conditioner didn't work very well. The beds were comforatable. The room was clean. The only thing that really cought me off guard was when the hotel asked me for a deposit and some other fee, after I already paid through hotels.com

Casino and food options were great. Nice theatre. Charged an additional $12.95 per night on top of the room rate once we arrived for a "convenience tax". Rooms were clean but very dated.

the only complaint I have is the $13 per day you pay for a silly resort fee. Boulder Station and Hotels.com should correct this. People feel ripped off because of this hidden charge.

Hotel was extremely smoky. Check-in was a long ways from the room. I still don;t understand the 12.95 sur charge once we got there. People were friendly otherwise.

Shower drain was very slow, and shower head sounded like it was going to blow up! Had I stayed a 2nd night, I would have changed rooms, I did report the problem. The other dislike is the hotel fee that is charged on top of the room charge, for services I dont want or will use. Will stay somewhere else next time.

House keeping missed my room on one occasion, I had to wait about 30 minutes before my room was cleaned, Otherwise OK place to stay. Still don't know what the extra daily room charge is for.

The hotel is great, it's a good location and not a very long drive from the strip. However I wouldn't stay there again because of the mandatory charges that they have when you first check in. It's an extra 11 dollars per day for phone usage and internet and some other stuff that you will not really be usinging at all. Also the 100 dollar deposit that you have to give as a hold for in case something happens. You get that back when you check out, but that is money that you can't use for anything while you are in Vegas. So It's a great hotel if you have some extra cash to spend cause of the extra charges. I wouldn't stay there again for the charges, but if they didn't have those I would definitly stay there again.

We got stuck on the third floor of this hotel and asked to be put on a higher floor and was brushed off. They didn't even searched, just told us this was it. It was ok.

Clean rooms, professional staff, great breakfast a la carte downstairs and great value for the money. A bit dissapointed about the hidden "service fee of 10 dollars a day" they charged, but still inexpensive.

Very Nice, comfortable and easy access to the Hotel. The room was cleaned, Club and restaurants were great. enjoy my stay and recommend it to everyone.

Good food for the price. Room is very basic. No frills. Suitable for people on a budget.

The floors and interior design is very nice

We stayed at this hotel because of the location to a soccer tournament we attended. Because we were not there for "gaming" we were not treated as well as the other guests, nor were we provided with any of the perks or services the "gamers" enjoyed. I thought the front desk staff was rude and we had to call 4 times before they finally connected our TV so we could enjoy the Pay for View movies. There were some hidden fees that increased the price of the room per night. The pool was shut down and there is no jacuzzi, which was a dissapointment for our son.

hotel/casino was ok rooms were messy torn up carpet, unclean towels, little tv, window washers outside inturpted sleeping wind noises very loud in hallways

The walls were paper thin, we could hear the guests in the room next to us just talking on the phone. Also, the wind noise was pretty bad in our room, although we were on the very end room next to the stairs, etc. Overall the place is worth the money, but be aware of a 9.95/day extra charge to cover things like internet, fitness center etc. This is a mandatory and charge and should be included in the regular price in my opinion.

The hotel was a great room for the price I paid.

on arrival I was charged hidden charges! got no help with luggage. enterance to hotel was lock because of wind. had to pack around then through the cascino. I paid at there buffet with credit card it was $10.76, on the slip for total I put $12 figured If I get ok service I would leave more cash. the cashere made a big scene about how I was not leaving a tip, as it were not much service was renderd

We found out that one needs the room key to use or have access to the elevator, makes us feel safe. Far from strip, this is where locals go. Love it.

not much of a savings going on hotel.com if they add extra 40 dollars not cool
