Great location - close to Boston Comm, shopping. Self park and you save a few doallars in the lot adjacent to hotel. Would stay here again. Rooms are nice and the pool and spa were good. Nice sun deck too.

Hotel is pretty good, staff were very helpful. Boston is very easy to get around walking, and the hotel was in an ideal location to explore Boston. It was about a $30 taxi ride from the aiprort although if travelling without children would be easy enough to get on the T (underground). We were travelling with our 2 1/2 year old so had a pushchair with us most of the time. At first it appeared that the hotel was not easy to get into for wheelchairs or pushchairs as there are steps at the main entrance but if you use the garage entrance you can get straight in on the level. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Slight annoyance was that the fitness centre and pool were a bit of a trek through the hotel, and the pool was a little on the chilly side. I can't say it spoiled our stay though! The frog pond and especially the tadpole playground in the Common were a huge hit with our daughter, the fountain especially for cooling down in the hot weather.

Perfect hotel in the city and within walking distance to most everywhere I wanted to go. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely stay there again. It was the topping on my maiden voyage to a wonderful and exciting town!

Our room had Double standard sized beds, WE only used one, but it was very comfortable. WE had a complimentary breakfast wich was delicious! Especially the Swiss Cold Oatmeal..i want the recipe. The workout-pool area is open 24 hours and we wished we would have taken more advantage of that, although we diod do a quick workout, but no pool time. Excellent location. Perfect little walk to Fenial Hall. About 5 minutes with lots of stored on the way. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, no doubt.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location for exploring Boston. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real problem was the elevators. The need to take two elevators to get down to street level is a bit annoying, but not a real problem. However, there are only four elevators to the rooms and all of them had problems during the course of our stay so the delays were considerable and we had to climb four flights of stairs on one occasion. A very nice hotel with bad elevators.

Elevators were constantly getting stuck or were out of service (on our first day, firemen were helping a woman who had fainted after being trapped for 20 minutes). The lobby is not accessible from the entrance, so 2 elevator trips are needed to get to your room. The pool is in a distant corner of the hotel and was disgusting. The neighborhood is marginal - safe, but unpleasant at night. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows coarse. The tissue box looked like someone had stuffed tissues back in, and the sink was unclean when we arrived. The concierge was helpful but astonishingly slow. This was one of my least pleasant hotel experiences, and I would rate most motel chains higher than this Hyatt. The high ratings for this hotel fooled me, and are not consistent with my experience.

Had a fantastic time in this hotel. Rooms spotless and beds amazingly comfortable.. Got a good deal on room so made it all the sweeter. Would definately go back to stay there. Location also excellent.

I stayed at this hotel for an event at Boston Common. It was in a perfect location and walking distance to everything. The hotel was very clean and the staff was great.

The room is directly next to the service area, so from midnight until 7 the next morning, it is continuous loud banging and noise. The hotel was nice enough to move me to another room the following morning, but I lost a full night's sleep.

Overall, the hotel was very nice and the workers were extremely friendly and helpful. My only complain is that you have to pay for internet. Every hotel I have stayed at over the past few years had free wi-fi. But not the Hyatt Regency Boston.

Bed was so comfortable. Room was so clean. Everything was classy and ridiculously comfortable. I ordered pizza, their oven was broken, so they sent me a free alternative because I waited. Awesome experience!

We booked our stay at the Hyatt when we were in Boston for a medical appointment and decided to make a night of it. While the staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating and it's a very nice facility, there were in our estimation, a couple of drawbacks. Some of the drawbacks are within the hotel's ability to change/directly a part of their facility, some are not. A) First--and the most difficult part for us--they used a very pungent fragrant deodorizer in the room. I have asthma and allergies, so this was problematic. I asked for a room change, as I thought it may be unique to the room and they quickly accommodated my request. Unfortunately, the second room was the same. Fortunately, it was warm outside and we were able to keep the window open through out the stay which made it more tolerable. Neither in winter or summer would you be able to do this--there are no window screens. I think it might be something they apply to the carpet. At any rate--if you are sensitive to odors--this will be a problem for you. The room was very clean though. B) The hotel has kind of an odd layout--it's triangular shaped. When you go into the door, you take a flight of stairs down to a vestibule, then take an elevator up to the lobby which is on the 3rd floor. You then have to change elevators to get up to your room. Unconventional at best. C) They charge for internet access--when you pay this much for a room, you would expect they could make internet complimentary. Far less fancy and less expensive hotels do. D) Geez.......be sure not to even open the wet bar! If you even move something, they charge a restocking fee. Knowing this from other reviews, I dared not crack the door. If you try to put anything of your own in there to chill, sensors in the unit will fink on you. E) There is more than one homeless shelter within a stone's throw of the hotel--the walk between the hotel and the Boston Common is laden with panhandlers and uncomfortable interactions--tons and tons of t

didnt care for the lobster sandwich via room service, they got me something else though, rest manager was accomidating. dont park your car there it cost me 48.00 a night, that is a crazy rate.. the gym, pool and room were all great highlights!!

Been going to th Hyatt and the SWISS hotel same building for 13 years now.The location is Great. Quincy Market, shopping, Theatres and Resturants are all within walking distance. Which is convinient.Public transportation is also close.Park the car in the garage when we arrive and do not drive again untill we Depart.Will definately will visit again.

Very nice, very comfortable, very clean. One night I ordered food to the room and they didn't tell me their oven was broken until much later, so they covered whatever alternate dish I chose. They were very nice about it and the food was great and free.

1. No free internet?! Even the paid-for internet speeds were unacceptably slow for a 4-star hotel in downtown Boston. I was disconnected at least 12 times within a span of 2.5 hours. 2. The alarm clock in my room was preset for 7am... Really? Is it that hard to make sure alarm clocks are turned off? Luckily, whoever stayed in my room didn't want to wake up at 5am or I woulda been triply pissed. 3. My room was right by the ice machine where you could hear people (especially drunk ones) all night long. There needs to be some kind of discount for a room with this type of locational issues. 4. There is no refrigerator, only a "refreshment center" which will immediately charge your room account when you remove an item. These items include $5.25 juice, $9 vodka, $23 white wine, $3.75 Oreo, $7 M&M's, $8.25 cashews, and many more great deals... "The refreshment centers are not intended for use as a refrigerator, especially for medications. A $25 restocking fee will be applied for emptying of your refreshment center." 5. No fan in the bathroom...to get rid of shower steam of course, not that I stink it up in there.

I think they save the smaller rooms for people who have gotten a deal. The only problem I had with the hotel were the room doors, the banging when the doors shut reminded me of being in a dorm.

I called for room service 5-6 times over the course of about 2 hours and no one answered once. Even if I let it ring for 5 minutes, no one answered. There was a dirty towel on the back of our bathroom door when we first walked in.

We ended up staying at this hotel due to a huge snowstorm that kept us off the road after seeing a show in the theater district and it ended up being a very good choice. Very close to Boston Common, ect... The area is home to a lot of construction, but it's convenient location more than makes up for it. Cafe is very pricey, but the service is great. In fact, the entire staff was pretty cordial. Certainly recommended.
