Grand Tonic Hotel Biarritz - Biarritz

The hotel was tired, the tv and hairdryer did not work, there was a half drunk water bottle at the side of the bed when we arrived.the enamle bath was chipped the carpet was thread bare,not acceptable as a 4*. The curtains where new. Very hard to sleep with the noise from outside. the room was very very small.

Good location. Good service. Big rooms. Confortable. Free parking.

The Tonic Hotel is nicely situated in the centre of Biarritz a stones through from the beach and Casino. One problem which should be addressed, if you are going for a weekend break, the hotel restaurant closes on Sunday and Monday. This is not mentioned in the hotel details

we found Hotel Tonic in Biarritz to be a first class hotel,it is rated a 4 star and had those little extras you expext ,we had a jacuzzi bath,towelling robes with matching slippers and our own central heating system in the room ,to put on or off at our own disgretion .We had not 1 but 2 double beds in our room a table and chair ,a desk and dressing table ,a seperate shower and toilet .The hotel lobby was carpeted to reduce noice and the hotel room was large .The decor was to a high standard and very beautiful .The room was cleaned and new towels were given everyday and the staff were extrmemly helpful.The Hotel is situated minutes from the center ofBiarritz and the Grande Plage .Biarritz is a beautiful place .The only down size on the Hotel was that they had no tea/coffee facilitys in the room and no english channels on the tv ......always nice when relaxing in the room.

Only good point is Location. Room wasn't clean enought, bathrrom even worse. Bathroom needs renovation. Biarrit is a buatiful place, but if You'll go there find a better and cleaner hotel.

I read some bad reviews about this hotel on another site, but my experience was very good. Thsi hotel is in a fantastic location:)

Very nice, central .. nothing special - a hotel. But what is up with all these hotels that don't provide coffee/tea making facilities in the room. We don't want to trek to breakfast every morning, it is nice to make a brew in the room.

Hôtel d'excellente tenue, propre, confortable, moderne et élégant. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent.

Hotel à recommander. Très agréable. Le cadre est de bon goût, la chambre que nous avons eu spacieuse et confortable. Un seul point à revoir ou préciser : le parking gratuit ne comporte qu'un nombre très limité de places. S'il est complet, l'hôtel dispose d'un parking payant. Cela n'était pas précisé dans la présentation de l'hôtel. Heureusement, l'hôtesse a été très commerciale et nous a offert le parking payant (15€/nuit). Le séjour a été agréable, nous y retournerions volontier.

cet hotel est rès loin d'un 4 *!! chambre supérieure petite (meme pas la place d'ouvrir une valise!!! chambre mal entretenue , tant au niveau des matériau que de la propreté (séche cheveux cassé, carrelage usagé , vieille télé, etc... service plus que mauvais : verre non changé , pas de savon, très peu de confort et de qualité de servicze pr un 4 étoiles. inadmissible à ce prix là!!!! en chambre supérieure!!!!

Bon accueil, personnel disponnible, ménage un peu limite. tres bon sens commercial (offre du petit dej suite à prolongation séjour au dernier moment)

dommage que le grand lit soit fait avec deux petit lit ..donc une legere separation entre mon epouse et moi.

cela pourrait etre un tres bon hotel mais le service et les pdj sont vraiment insuffisant pour un 4 etoiles je dirai hotel bien place mais doit s ameliorer pour valoir vraiment ses etoiles que font les gens qui les donnent???

L'offre dont nous avons bénéficié était exceptionnelement intéressante. Le rapport qualité/prix en hors saison était imbattable, je dois dire que des offres comme celle-ci me permetterai de voyager bien plus souvent et ainsi parfaire notre connaissance de la géographie française.

Baignoire usagée, presque sale ! Peintures écaillées, robinetterie cassée (sale de bain, lavabo eau chaude). Réception TV nul ! et piles de télécommande inversées. Jacuzzi, ne s'arrête pas, avant 1/2h après stop ! Et 18 € le petit déjeuné !! J'ai pu prolonger, la durée de mon séjour, 1/2 sans souci, avec un personnel très sympa. Chambre 314.

Le matelas n'etait pas du tout confortable!Le petit dejeuner n'etait pas a l'hauteur de l'hotel!

bon hotel et bien situé.l hotel est un peut vieillissant et certaines choses ne me semble pas convenir pour un 4 etoiles...petite salle de bain , baignoire a bulle qui ne fonctionne pas...la chambre est tres spacieuse et le service accueillant....par contre a faire le restaurant gastro ou l on y a tres bien mangé et bonne presentation....

La decoration un peu demode dans cet hotel, mais des chambres et la salle de bain avec la baignoire jacuzzi magnifique. Hotel se trouve au centre, pas loin de la plage, mais donne sur un petit cour ou la rue, sans d ,ailleurs problemes de bruit. Attention le petit dej est a 18 euros!!!!

tout était impeccable, de l'accueil, au départ. le seul point négatif, est le prix du petit déjeuner, un peu excessif (18€)

Style Art déco propre et neuf

modern en mooi ingerichte kamers. gelegen in het centrum. Eten was zeer goed. ontbijt, lunch en diner.

Au prix demandé, l'hôtel pourrait au moins offrir le parking et le petit déjeuner.

Var väl ett ok hotell men inte värt pengarna. Halvsnorkig personal och flertalet saker i rummet fungerade inte.

Tilfredsstillende.
