Lille Europe Hotel - Lille

This hotel scores on it's excellent location being between Lille's two main railway stations (just a couple of minutes walk from both), and being adjacent to Euralille and the town centre - despite which, we got a peaceful night's sleep as our room was at the back. The compromise is that, as with many centrally-situated hotels, the rooms are very small and in need of decoration so, unless the superb location by the stations warrants the price, somewhat cheaper rooms are available within 15 minutes walk.

Excellent location of hotel. The only downside are the ignorant French people we came across.

Room was fine, location perfect and bathroom was excellent. Only two downfalls - no airconditioning and the promised "free internet" didnt really work. The room probably doesnt need a/c for most of the year, but in summer it can be pretty warm. The ethernet cable in the room didnt work at all and the free wireless access was only available if you went to the first floor and sat in the business lounge.

A short walk from Eurostar station. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Spacious and comfortable room. Local tax not included in price. Had to pay it when leaving.

Although not of the highest quality, the room was comfortable and clean. The close proximity to the Eurostar railway station made it an excellent choice for us at a budget cost. We only stayed one night en route to the UK and the close proximity of cafes and restaurants was very convenient. Parking of our rental car before returning it was a little difficult but we managed to park in front of the hotel eventually to unload our cases.

A clean and comfortable stay, right next to Euralille station and shopping centre. Typical anonymous big hotel but fine if you want to explore the centre of Lille. Didn't have breakfast as can't eat gluten.

Hotel less than 5 mins. walk from Eurostar station and less than 10 mins. walk from centre of town. Very adequate for a short city break. Cold buffet breakfast very good with plenty of choice. A 'no frills' hotel but good value for money.

the hotel location was excellednt 1 - 2 min walk to Eurostar station and the metro. few minutes to the city centre. in the euralille shopping centre with a huge supermarket for taking food and wine back to london on the train. basic business type hotel so not luxurious, but very clean and absolutely fine for our needs for a weekend break.

The hotel is good value for money, rooms are quiet and comfortable. Check in was late at night and was fast and efficient. The hotel is right next to the station so it is easy to get to.

Travelling from Bordeaux to London by train, coming in at nearly 1 in the morning for a 0730 Eurostar departure, very handy to have a comfortable and good value hotel overnight next to the train station. Internet booking good and all night concierge well dressed and polite. Thank you!

Leeds, where we live, is twinned with Lille so we thought we'd go and see it. We're really happy we found this hotel because the transport links are excellent. The hotel's in centre of Lille, right next to the train stations and backing onto and adjoined to the Euralille shopping centre (very useful if there's a downpour!) yet the road outside is quite quiet. The very centre of Lille starts 100m down the road. The carpark is underneath the hotel. To gain access to it for the first time pull up infront of reception and run in to ask for a card to open the carpark barrier. Then drive up the road, do a u-turn back past the hotel, turn left and the carpark barrier's in front of you. Wave the card in front of the control box and the white garage door will open for you to go past. Follow the road down the slope, wave the card at the next control box and the barrier and a garage door to your left will open. Drive through that door and park in the final spaces. There's a lift from there direct to reception.

I found a few long hair on my pillow and in the bathroom.... that was gross! Besides my pillows were smelly... The breakfast was very poor, I didn't even stay to try the food. The reseptionist forgot my wake up call. Nearly 35 minutes later they called. Good thing that I never relay on front desk wake up calls.... The ONLY good thing about this hotel is that it's 5 minutes waking distance from the train station. Otherwise, next time - I prefer to stay somewhere else and take a taxi to the train station.

Great hotel, location, staff, breakfast, but we hit a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, would be terrible at the height of the summer. Travelled with friends on eorostar and they gave us one bedroom on arrival at 10.30am which was great to dump the luggage, very helpful.

Good hotel to stay in for a few days friendly staff clean rooms but apart from one news channel no TV for English speakers. A must is a room at the back of the hotel as the hotel is situated on a very busy road. Great location to roam about old town about 10 minutes easy stroll and loads of restaurants bars etc., for shopping Carrefour supermarket is right next door in an huge arcade and as far as we could see prices are the same as Cite de Europe. Did not try hotel breakfast, as there are lots of small bars, coffee shops and small restaurants around which do fabulous hot chocolate what a start to the day.

Nice and clean; fairly large room compared with other hotels in major cities; friendly and polite front-desk staff. Excellent location for travellers - right next door to huge supermarket and shopping center (Euralille); stone's throw away from Le Grande Place, Vieux Lille, train stations, thousands of restaurants and cafes .... Did not like smoking in the Business Center / lounge though ....

The hotel eas perfectly situated only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Lille. Watch our for the fact that breakfast is not included and car parking is 10.00 euros per night, althouigh the car park is one of the best I have ever seen.

L'hotel est très bien avec un chambre moderne et un confort satisfaisant.

Hotel propre et confortable et à 5 minutes à pied de la gare de Lille Europe... on ne peut plus près. Un parking privé pour la voiture (que l'on laisse en toute sécurité) directement accessible par l'ascenseur de l'hotel et donc aux chambres... moyennant 11 euros par jour. Chambre propre et personnel symparhique: rien à redire.... peut-être juste le manque de climatisation dans la chambre.

PAS d'attente à l'accueil- très grande chambre- grande salle de bain, bien equipée- bémol: pas de clim vue panoramique de la salle restau; génial

chambre coté cour, calme, et propre , petit déjeuner correct, nous avons passés un bon séjour internet dans les chambres .

Ikke speciel venlig modtagelse og absolut ikke luksus, men det indikerer prisen jo heller ikke.. Beliggenheden er perfekt lige ved siden af stationen (Gare Lille de Flandre) og faa minutters gang til gaagader, shopping og restauranter. Hotellet ligger i et stort shoppingcenter med parkeringshus. Ellers tag chancen og hold lige foran hotellet (men husk at flytte bilen inden kl. 9 om morgenen!) Morgenmadscafe (ikke hotellets) lige udenfor doeren til venstre.

Petit hôtel très sympathique, bien situé.

Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits pour visiter Lille, le personnel est très accueillant, nous avons eu un souci au niveau de la télévision qui avait un faux contact, ils nous ont tout de suite changé de chambre.

A 200m du quai d'embarquement de l'Eurostar, à peine plus loin de la gare lille flandres ( idéal quand on prend son train tot et que l'on rentre tard, comme moi ), chambre plus que correcte, grande baignoire, personnel aimable, salon de petit déjeuner idéal :rien à redire

L'implantation est excellente pour un séjour dans le centre ville ; l'accueil est minimal ; la chambre, anoncée libre pour 14 h n'est disponible qu'à 15h ; la consigne à bagages ressemble à un local poubelle et qui plus est ouverte à tous sans contrôle ; la salle de bain n'est équipée que d'un savon pour deux

dit is één van de eerste hotels in een grootstad die ik bezoek waar de prijs werkelijke correct is voor wat je aangeboden krijgt, met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel aan het onthaal en ontbijt, een aanrader !

Dommage que j'ai du patienter dehors sous la pluie et le froid pendant au moins 20 min car porte fermée, personne à l'accueil.

Bonne situation, centre ville proche à pieds. Chambre très propre et accueillante. Petit déjeûner dans une salle agéable. Bonne insonorisation .

Entre les 2 gares, au bas du centre commercial, à 2 pas du centre ville historique, très pratique pour dormir, manger, sortir, ...

Hôtel calme, bien situé par rapport aux gares et commerces et bien desservi en transports en communs. Personnel très agréable. Malgré tout je trouve le petit déjeuner un peu cher (8,50€) même s'il est à volonté.

Cet hotel est bien placé entre les 2 gares de Lille et à 5 minutes de la Grand place. la chambre bien que peu spacieuse a tout le confort requis. bonne literie et salle de bain très propre. calme malgré la proximite du centre commercial eurolille

l'hôtel est à quelques minutes à pied des 2 gares sncf. TV, sèche cheveux, mini bar : rien ne manque dans la chambre. Très bon accueil à la réception. Belle salle de petit déjeuner avec buffet où la aussi rien ne manque.

Hotel hyper pratique pour les utilisateurs de la gare Lille Europe. A conseiller sans hésiter. Etape bien agreable avant un sejour à Londres. Près des reaturants et a 100 metres de l'embarquement Eurostar.

Zijn al naar verschillende hotels geweest en hadden pas bij een 3 sterrenhotel een mini bar . Mini bar is toch wel interressant.

Bon rapport qualité prix. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet copieux et varié. Propreté des parties communes et de la chambre. Mauvaise isolation phonique à l'intérieur de l'hôtel, on entend les gens parler dans le couloir. Rieaux pas assez occultants, on est réveillé par le jour. Personnel souriant à la réception.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und zweckmässig, jedoch sieht man dem Haus sein Alter schon langsam an. Dank der guten Lage zwischen den beiden Bahnhöfen gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Hotel, Zimmer und Frühstück sind i.O. Einzig der nicht fûnktionierende Internetzugang, sei es über WiFi oder die Business-PC war sehr negativ. Eine Verbindung war nicht möglich.
