Hesperia London Victoria - Londres

Excellent location, lovely rooms and helpful staff make this an excellent place to stay. Nice public areas, including health centre. Good food and pleasant bar. Would recommend this hotel to anyone - we have tried several at Victoria and this is by far the best!!!

Thank you for a very nice visit. Even though we could only stay one night on this visit the location and service of the hotel was great! We were at the end of a trip visiting my son in Oxford so it made it a great spot to stay. Front desk personal were extremely helpful and courteous.

This hotel is ideally situated for business or leisure. Opposite Victoria Railway Station, very near to Victoria Bus Station. If travelling by car you will need to park at NCP car park nearby. Hotel is lovely with a contempary look. Rooms have everything you need in them, 2 hairdriers, ironing board and iron etc; A good night's sleep guaranteed in the crisp, clean, comfortable beds. Excellent service in the bar. We didn't have a meal at the hotel so cannot comment on this. Will return to this hotel whenever we need to stay in London and would certainly look to stay at this chain of hotels elsewhere in the world.

Got a fantastic rate on this hotel, which seemed too good to be true, however everything was spot-on and would definitely recommend and stay there again. Great location, friendly staff and a nice room.

I love this hotel!!!! Staff were really friendly and helpful and our room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Excellent location with Cardinal Place only metres away with places to eat and shop. My mum has never stayed in this part of London before but now she says she won't stay anywhere else.

great hotel, arrived early in the morning and the receptionist checked us in straight away. great size room for London. extremely convienent to tubeand train, just accross the road. Fantastic brekkie would deffinatley go back to this great hotel.

I have stayed in many London hotels ranging from the very bad to the good and must say that this came under the 'good'. The staff were brilliant, really friendly and attentive even though we only stayed one night and the room (a twin) was big enough for two with a little room to spare! The beds were comfy and clean, the bathroom spotless and the hairdryer one of the best I've encountered in a hotel! There are only two 'negatives'. Firstly, there was quite a lot of building work happening directly over the road, this carried on until past 2 in the morning and started early, although I had expected some noise being opposite to Victoria station I couldn't hear any trains at all, just drilling. Also the bathroom door is glass and therefore see-through and unlockable. I thought this quite odd in a shared twin room. Overall, I would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located near Victoria station. We were greeted with a very friendly staff that spoke English and we received an upgrade for a nominal fee. The room was cozy and comfortable. They look exactly like the photos provided on the site. However as soon as we got settled in we realized the TV wasn't working so we had to call the front desk. The next day we realized the internet service was down and they had no idea when it would be available. This was inconvenient considering that we were expecting to receive some very important documents and would probably be required to fax the documents back to the US. Much to our dismay the internet service was not available throughout the entire length of our stay and we had to find an internet cafe. The hotel did not offer to pay for our out of pocket expense, despite the fact that they mentioned that the internet service would be free with your stay when we checked in. During our stay the door hinge also broke. We were quite surprised and contacted the front desk. They had the repair man fix it right away. I wish I could say that was the end of it but then we noticed that the upgrades that we paid for which included some snacks and drinks, were not replenished on a regular basis. On a better note, the Concierge service was phenomenal. The Concierge set up our tours at a great deal and since we had not booked our train ride to Paris ahead of time, the Concierge booked a train ticket to Paris that was both convenient and cost effective. That was most certainly their saving grace.

A good choice for central London - just behind Victoria Station. .Spanking new, decent size rooms pleasant bar area. But having asked for a double bed we were allocated a twin and the receptionist was somewhere between unsympathetic and offhand about this. The reception area was poorly manned - the staff kept disappearing to do other things when there was a queue waiting to be checked in or out. Otherwise a good deal for the price.

Shocked by how amazingly friendly the staff actually were here. Excellent location for anybody visiting Victoria and environs

Booked the room for the London Marathon as it was relatively close to the finish. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, I didn't mind being upsold an upgrade to a superior room, as it was done very well and in fact only cost an extra £10 a night and allowed us to check in at 9.30am. Room was very good and despite having a kingsize bed in wasn't the usual cramped London box. It was very clean and well decorated and I gather that they had recently been refurbished. Equally the corridors and the rest of the hotel were clean and tidy. Couple of points; the water pressure in the shower wasn't that good and the TV stations had been jumbled around which was annoying. I didn't use the breakfast facilities, £30 for 2 I thought it was a tad expensive for a fry up although it was a buffet style. But the bar was pleasant enough. Although not there for the sightseeing it was close (walking distance) to the relevant sites and of course right opposite Victoria Train Station. I didn't use the spa or gym. Would most definitely stay there again, a very affordable bit of 4 Star luxury.

this was my first trip to london and i loved it. The hotel was superbly located close to the underground which we used alot. It was clean and the room was beautifully decorated. We never ate in the hotel as we ate out every day. The bar was small but cosy. On first arrival it didnt look much from the outside but when we entered our opinions changed! would defo recommend!

A good hotel at a reasonable price in the centre of London, next to Victoria Train station

Decent location for wicked the musical but room was only adequate room service was not too good the car park was a hike and the tv reception was poor.

Hotel was nice and pleasant but would probably not stay again. Parking was quite a way from the hotel, 10 minute walk and was quite expensive. Hotel do give you a discount parking voucher but it still cost £16 for the night. Hotel room was basic but the bathroom was nice.

It was a busy Friday evening just before Christmas and we'd been warned that the town was very busy with parties and such like. The station was full of people in a rush to escape to their homes. We weaved our way through the throng walked out of the staion and there in front of us was the Hesperia. What a relief. Peace and quiet at last. Very efficient receptionist who offered plenty of upgrades and other options. Our room on the 6th floor was a haven of peace and quiet. No traffic noise nor the sound of a train. Ask for a back room Afer a comfortable and restful night with no crashing doors or noisy people in the corridor we went to the Buffet room for a breakfast that could satisfy your needs all day. Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff Looking for a reason to return in the Spring.

the hotel is very comfortable and in a great location. it is a spanish chain. The breakfast was good. We did have a problem with the Heathrow transportation, apparently the concierge booked it for the wrong time. But it was all solved and we made it on time. The room seemed like it could use more light. Would def stay again.

Excellent business location. One hour after touching down at Gatwick, thanks to the Gatwick Express and the fact the hotel is across the road from the station (literally) I was in my room. For London this is extraordinary. We enjoyed the pool and the bar, but above all the friendliness of the staff. The makeover and predominantly Spanish flavor of the hotel have already made it a favourite with Iberian visitors - it should gain in popularity with other groups also. Room was beautiful and very quiet. The best London stay I've ever had at a modest price.

Very handy location. Just behind Victoria Station, couldn't hear a single train I have to say. Good restaurant and bar, close to theatres. A great starting point to get anywhere you like in London and back again at whatever time of night. The room was very comfortable and smart. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our room overlooked the train station which wasn't the best view, but it was convenient when we needed to get somewhere. Victoria station is a quick way to many places. Hotel pool/hot tub is dissapointing. The room we were in seemed like a handicapped room which made the tub seem dangerous, it was a high step with a slippery floor. We had a hard time understanding the staff. There are a few close stores to get food as well as many restaurants near by.

Enjoyed my stay in the Hesperia. Excellent location right beside Victoria. 30 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and many other sights. Excellent breakfast for 10.50. Ask for a double bed though as the twin beds were so soft they were like water beds.

This hotel is very nice, recently renovated, extremely convenient to Victoria Station, surprisingly quiet, and the service is great.

Found this hotel to be just what we wanted for a busy weekend in London. Well situated and very pleasant staying there. Staff had an old fashioned courtesy about them and nothing too much trouble. It is just 3 minutes walk from Victoria station and bus station, in the middle of a pleasant area with shops and good restaurants all round. Minutes away from Billy Elliot- the best show we have seen for ages.

The service was amazing. Everyone asking how we were, etc. The room was small but had everything you needed in it so the extra space wasn't missed. The only thing that disappointed was the shower. Neither I or my partner could manage to get a decent amount of pressure out of it.

Very disappointed. The Lobby and bar/restaurant are excellent but behind the scenes everything is not right. The check-in was good but then it all fell apart. The exceutive rooms are to the untrained eye identical to all the other rooms except for a bathrobe and disposable slippers. The A/C did not work and neither the well publicised in-room wifi was extremely, mind numbingly slow. Calling reception in the evening took 6 mins+ to answer the phone only for a sullen, barely comprehenisble gentleman to answer 'my bad' when asked why it took so long. Trying to get an extra pillow took a day and a half.. We were charged 3 different amounts for the same newspaper we had each day... and also minibar charges appeared erroneously on our bill. I stay in hotels about 6 months of the year and really honestly was very disappointed by the value for money, especially after staying in the nearby Park Plaza Victoria the week before which was cheaper and excellent throughout.

Clean, new and well placed hotel - Victoria station is 2 min away, perfect for business travellers who need to go to different locations in London. Animated area but windows keep the noise outside (the room was facing the train station but I hardly heard any noise).

Excellent location 2 mins walk from Victoria Underground/ Train station. Room was clean amd comfortable. THe hair dryer did not work but maintenance provided a new one within 15 mins. We saw a show at the Apollo on the Saturday night the location is amazing for this less than 2 mins. The veiw from the window was of a recycling area which was not the best and with the windows open you clould hear the announcements from the train station

Great location as it's just across the road from one of the entrances to Victoria Station and therefore easy access to everything in London. Room was a bit pokey and didn't have a whole lot of room to move around. Bathroom was a nice size though.

Hesperia London Victoria was clean, comfortable, and convenient and with a very helpful staff. We finally reached the hotel after 14 hours of flight - 61/2 hours on the tarmac waiting for de-icing and then 7 1/2 actual flight time. So when we arrived at the hotel we were exhausted. We were very pleasantly surprised - very comfortable beds with pressed sheets, and decorated in calming tones. We would definitely go back.

London is not a cheap city to visit and this hotel is not the exception. Its situated behind Victoria train station which means there is little peace and quite, from incoming trains to trucks revving their engines at 6am! The room is tiny and does not seem to be clean. Don't walk on the carpet with no shoes on. As for the bathroom...its falling to bits. I stonrgly suggest that you avoid this hotel and carefully investigate any hotel in London as the British levels of standards are far below Americans!

I find this modern comfortable hotel particularly convenient if you are using the Gatwick express. The service is very good and the breakfast well presented. I have had dinner in the Hotel and it is reasonable value for money. My only complaint is the room charges vary so much and as a fairly frequent visitor I wish the Hotel would make arrangmeents to offer a rate to frequent visitors.

The hotel was conveniently located but the noise from the station was incredible. There were no double paned windows to buffer the sound.

We parked at Richmond and got on the tube straight to Victoria. We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by friendly staff and booked in straight away. Our room was very clean and comfortable, had a mini bar and iron etc. We had a pre-theatre meal in the restaurant, the service was fantastic and the meal - absolutely amazing (fantastic value for money). The breakfast the following morning was brilliant, a great selection and again brilliant service. If you are going to the Theatre in Victoria this hotel is a brilliant location as its opposite the train station and just round the corner from the theatre. Also good for sight seeing, Buckingham Palace is just a short walk away. Would definitely recommend anyone thinking of booking! :o)

It was our first trip to London and only four days. This hotel was clean and the room was a decent size......just like the picture. No view but not a problem. Location next to Victoria Station could not have been more convenient. And no noise. Definately would return. Pub at the corner is good too.

It was what we paid for, coudl have been a little more quiet in the morning when they clean the rooms. Besides that it was nice and clean and very friendly and safe.

Very convenient hotel, close to Buckingham Palace, right across the street from Victoria Station although we were not there long enough or adventurous enough to use public transportation available, very clean, large king sized bed (although it was called a "double" by hotel

The best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to Victoria Station in London (literally across the street). The hotel looks likes it been furnished from IKEA (economical yet functional). Our room's A/C didn't cool very well and I repeatedly called the front desk for maintenance to be sent. I don't think they ever fixed it as it was never cool in the room. The windows have locks on them as well, so I was unable to get any of the cool air from outside. The breakfast buffet was pretty good except there's no reason to pay 13 pounds for an English breakfast, but we we're soooo tired it didn't matter at that point. Overall, if you're looking for something that's really convenient, you'd probably like this this hotel. The price is a bit steep however.

Vi bodde 5 netter på Hesperia, og manglet ingenting. Innholdsrik og deilig, men litt dyr frokost, rene komfortable rom med kjempefint bad. Stille og rolig hele døgnet, samtidig som Victoria station lå rett utenfor hotellinngangen. Vi hadde ingenting å klage på og sov godt i stor seng med god dyne og madrass. Rengjøringen av rommet var over forventet og rommet var rikelig utstyrt med både toalettsaker og andre ting. Vi kommer tilbake!
