Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Brussels - Bruselas

This hotel was in a great location, just 2 minutes walk from the Metro station and a bus stop just around the corner. The hotel itself was lovely, the staff were great too. The hotel was well maintained and was easy walking distance to most of the sights in Brussels. Best location possible!

The air condition does not work properly (25°C is too warm for me!) and they are not willing to do anything about it. Breakfast costs 30 € which is for a hotel of this poor level over the top. I have no clue wher they got the stars from.

Wished we had a King bed! Service was slow..........

It is a clean and comfortable hotel in a central location, good value for money. There are a few nice local bars close by.

I've stayed in a few Radisson SAS hotels in Europe and have yet to be disappointed. The Royal in Brussels is no different - friendly and efficient staff, comfortable, well appointed rooms and prime location near the Grand P'lace and Central train station meant our time here couldn't be faulted. The price of food was (as usual) a rip-off but being so close to so many cafes and bistros meant it wasn't an issue. Would be nice though if the hotels reduced their margin slightly to make food a viable option when you're not on an expense account.

The SAS Royal Hotel in Brussels was easy to find from the Central Station. Check was flawless and the room was adequate and clean. As it faced inwardly towards the spectacular courtyard, it also proved to be extemely quite even on New Years Eve. This actually caused us to sleep much longer than we intended! Location was perfect with all the central attractions ie; Manneken Pis and Grand Place being only minutes away. I would recommend this hotel for a weekend break in Brussels.

We love the radisson hotel.Only complaint was the dinner. The portions were very small.Two small pieces of chicken one small roasted onion and two scoops of potatoes , it was not good value for money.We stayed at this hotel before and also dined there but the food this time was not up to the standaed we got before at this hotel

Perfect hotel and perfect location, went with my boyfriend loved every minute of it, walking distance to all.i would highly recommend it

The hotel is excellent on the inside, with an amazing lobby and Atrium. The rooms are very well set out as well, though unfortunately mine overlooked a building site at the back of the hotel. Best of all the hotel is located almost on the main shopping street and a short walk to the Grande Place and a metro station.

My wife and I have just returned from a stay in the Radisson Royal SAS Hotel in Brussels. The hotel is ideally situated close to Central Station, a wide variety of shops and areas of interest eg Grand-Place( Tapis de Fleurs).

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Excellent position, 5 minutes walk to the Grand Place, 3 minute walk to the Metro station and only 2 minutes to a good shopping area. The hotel is extremely clean and the service was excellent. Beware of the prices for breakfast if it is not included.

Great location when visiting old town. Comfortable, complete and clean room. Good service. Complimentary speed internet. Reasonable price. Avoid breakfast as it is too expensive.

I stayed here twice for a week each time. 1st time stated in the Maritime rooms, which are nice and modern with all the facilities one expects. I found the 'smoking' rooms to be far too stuffy and I couldnt get rid of the cigarette smell in my clothes without dry cleaning everything. So on the next trip i chose a non smoking room (art deco floor). The room was a little dated and definately didnt have the same facilities as the Maritime room, however it was smoke free (I took to smoking outside the hotel). Service at the hotel is not great, the stafff never seem to say hello or goodbye, they just stare on by. Stay away from breakfast if not included in your rate, its 30 Euros plus 7 euros room service fee. Its the most expensive I ever found and considering what I usually eat for breakfast not worth my while. The hotel is in a great location, 3 mins from central station, 1 min from Rue Nueuve. Everything is on your doorstep and was my main reason for choosing this hotel. Breakfast can be had in many many place just outside the hotel. Room service isnt great for what you are paying. Far better to make use of the location and dine at the many restaurants available locally.

To start on a positive note... the room was nice and the lobby is nice (although it smelled like stale fish upon arrival). The staff is NOT 5 star and neither is the service. Our room was not ready when we checked in at 3:15 and we did not get an apology or anything... when we asked how long it would be until it was ready the desk woman said, "you are not the only ones; there are others before you"?? An hour later we checked back (they would not call us or some get us at the bar) and they said it would be another hour. No smile, no offer of apology or "we are really sorry, please let us buy you a drink"... THAT would be 5 star service. Had dinner in the Atrium restaurant - no matter how friendly I was, could not manage a smile from the staff! Final note, husband was VERY ill and we had to stay an extra day and they wanted us to change rooms because a Radisson General Manager had blocked off our room (just a basic room... not a special suite or anything) so I had to get the hotel manager involved... just not 5 star service.

This is close to the Grand Place and shops and restaurants. We actually didn't spend much time in the hotel at all. The rooms are comfortable and clean but one of the chairs was stained which detracted from the overall impression. A little noisy in the morning due to construction next door.

I wasn't sure what to expect traveling abroad, but this hotel went above and beyond my expectations. From the onset of making changes to my initial reservation, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than expected at the hotel and they granted us early check-in. Most of the staff speak excellent English, which was a bonus, as I only speak very broken French and no Dutch at all. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The concierge was the nicest gentleman, who assisted us with all of our questions. The breakfast was beyond all expectations--not simply a fresh, tasty meal, but incredibly fresh and delicious! The staff in the breakfast dining area went above and beyond and were the nicest people! Suggestion to Americans traveling: learn some of the local language when traveling, you're received and helped much more readily. Opt for the business package, if you can. In this hotel, I felt just shy of royalty, it was a perfect stay.

Outstanding from top to bottom. Arrived early. No problem, they had a room for us. Breakfast separately is expensive (25 euro) but was included with our room. Very good meal. Perfect start to the day. Very helpful and professional staff. Excellent rooms. Very convenient to metro, train station, and airport (via station). Historic areas are just a 2 minute walk away. Long wait on busy days for a taxi. Don't be afraid to take the metro. We've stayed in a lot worse. Rarely stayed in better.

We had a wonderful stay in Brussels (girlies weekend!). Staff were very pleasant and the buffet breakfast was excellent. We did not eat in the hotel but the cocktails were very good indeed! My only gripe was that when we were given our room for 3 adults it was extremely small and unacceptable. However, reception did change us to a suite which was great but bathroom in need of upgrading. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I was not impressed by something special. Radisson SAS is a typical 5-star hotel but with an increased concerned about Global Issues. The only things that I did not like were that my room was not quiet, noise from the street and from next door rooms, and that the body towels were too small. Other than that, the location is perfect if you want to be in the centre. The service from the front desk was fine.

Excellent, clean and comfortable hotel a few steps from many of the city's historic sights

The beds were quite uncomfortable. Otherwise good, excellent location, good service.

A typical international business hotel, but a nice one. High standard, and high prices to go with it (30€ for breakfast!). The meeting facilities are good, the rooms are nice and comfortable (but the windows do not open). Good location, walking distance to Gare Central and Grande Place, with lots of good restaurants in the area. A comfortable hotel with a nice feel and good service from the stafff.

super hotel, avec son restaurant au centre d'un immense hall couvert par une verrière. Par contre attention au taxi commandé par l'hôtel, il nous a coûté 10€ de plus qu'à l'aller pour un très court trajet, arnaque!!!

Hotellet ligger sentralt plassert. Det eneste var at vi hadde litt problemer med å finne det fra sentralbanestasjonen siden det var vår første tur til Brûssel. Når vi først fant det, var det et ypperlig utgangspunkt for å utforske byen. En liten advarsel: Norske priser på mat og drikke

Très bel hôtel. Interrieur magnifique. Hôtesse un peu parisienne ;). Chambre classique mais qui a vécue. Commode cassé.

Maritim etage dejlig med parketgulve. Vindue kan dog ikke åbnes, og der er lidt mørkt. Lidt overmøbleret, men dog komfortabelt. Gratis internet virker fint (trådløst).

A would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The airlines lost our bags, so the conciege took care of everything. He also kept us updated about the bags every time he heard something new.

Brusertermostat nærmest defekt, men det lykkedes at undgå skoldning. Defekt låg på elkande. Dette harmonerer ikke med dress-code for påklædning i restauranten.

Meget komfortable værelser med rigtig gode senge. Fin service og behagelig atmosfære. Udmærket og rolig beliggenhed få minutters gang fra Grand Place, Centralstationen og metrostationer.

chambres vastes avec tout le confort nécessaire, silence et service efficace, cadre très original, cet hôtel à tout pour séduire. De plus, situé près du coeur historique, il permet de rayonner à pied dans les rues de Bruxelles et voir ainsi l'architecture de la ville.

Le Radisson SAS est un hôtel de classe. Le personnel y est efficace et très accueillant. Situé dans le centre ville, il vous facilitera les visites de la capitale sans pour autant être gèné par le tumulte citadin ! Les chambres sont 'design', bien équipées et calmes.

Hall bellissima, grandissima, di lusso. Tutti gentilissimi, l'unica cosuccia, è che noi avevamo una camera x fumatori e ovviamente ogni tanto ci andava di aprire la finestra, solo che dovevi chiamare qulacuno x aprirla, dato che la "maniglia" la avevano solo gli operatori dell'albergo, che puntulamente però, ad ogni chiamata, venivano ad aprire e a chiudere la finestra ..........

L'hotel ha una bellissima hall, molto spettacolare... al contrario della stanza che poteva offrire un bagno più bello, anzi bello, visto le cinque stelle dell'albergo. ma forse sono io un pò fissata con i bagni, oppure ci è capitata una camera con un bagno mignon! Comunque la posizione è ottima: a due passi dal corso dello shopping... peccato che ce ne siamo accorti l'ultimo giorno, visto che prendevamo sempre la strada nell'altra direzione ossia verso la Grande Place! sempre vicino all'albergo... Quindi un hotel ben posizionato, con un receptioniste italiana di Roma molto simpatica! Ve lo consiglio, se non avete pretese per i bagni... Scherzo! ve lo consiglio davvero... Andateci!

il servizio è nettamente inferiore alla categoria: in 3 notti non hanno mai cambiato la biancheria letto, ogni giorno abbiamo dovuto richiedere la biancheria bagno per la terza persona, il facchino sbuffa mettendo i bagagli in deposito. è pubblicizzata un'area fitness, che in realtà era separatamente gestita ed ha chiuso il giorno dopo il nostro arrivo.solo la colazione corrisponde ad un 5 stelle, con il costo di 25 euro a persona.
