I'll start off by saying that the hotel is in a great central location. However, there was an ant mound and dusty floors, and mildew stains on the walls of our first small room followed by mildew oder and dusty floors in our larger second room. I would not go back and would not recommend.

Stayed here for three nights on our honeymoon. The location is amazing, right next to the Pantheon which means that it is placed right in the middle of all the big sights. The room was big, with a big en suite, lovely and cool and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and always available. highly recommended!

Spent one night in a triple room. Room was spacious even for three adults, comfortable beds and big bathroom. Location of the hotel is excellent, within a few metres of the Pantheon and easy to get to the main sites on foot. Hotel reception staff very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is very well presented. Breakfast selection not huge but adequate and fresh. Would definitely return to this hotel for a longer stay.

let me preface these comments by saying we have stayed in many hotels over the years and the staff at this hotel was the most freindly of all the hotels i've stayed at! I was greeted like i was part of their family. When i asked if i could check in early they were able to accomadate my needs. they even upgraded meto a spectacular suite for my annivesary.When i had a small problem with my ac, they solved it immediately. I highly recommend this hotel and would it my first choice if it was available. Mauro and Alessandra were the best hosts one could ask for.

Lovely room with a great staff to help us with any questions. We were travelling with an 11 month old and they helped with the crib and with our specific travel needs quite effortlessly. The only downside was that the AC wasn't turned on as this was off season. With the windows open, it was fine, but we couldn't keep the windows open all night as the baby woke up when the street noise started in the morning.

After a tiring flight and a frightening taxi ride hurtling into the center of Rome my wife and I checked in, trudged up to our room and blinked in wonderment at the view from our room. All of the cares of travel drained away as we drank in the Piazza della Rotunda and the Pantheon. While the hotel itself had not been renovated recently, the rooms were clean, comfortable and the hotel possessed old world charm. And the location was unbeatable. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. My only regret was that in November the rooftop bar/garden had been closed for the season so we were not able to take in the great view from the center of Rome.

There are few times when you can open your window and see 2500 years of history. our room was good sized (for Europe), quiet and very classy and clean. great location, service was great and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We were extrememly pleased with our stay at Albergo Del Senato for 3 nights in October 2008. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very nice - would have preferred that the glass partition on the shower fully closed but a minor inconvenience. We stayed on the 4th floor and loved that our room windows opened directly into Piazza de Pantheon. We really enjoyed hearing the city and being a part of the action even from our hotel room. The evening entertainment on the square ranged from mimes to opera singers and we were never disappointed enjoying this from one of the lovely restaurants right next to the hotel or from our room. We also enjoyed the roof top terrace and the views of Rome were clear and magnificent. The hotel also arranged very comfortable and reasonably priced transportation to the airport on the day of our departure. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay here again on our return to Rome.

The location of this hotel is just fabulous....right next door to the Pantheon in the most picturesque neighborhood in Rome. Convenient to all famous landmarks as well as neighborhood cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. All fabulous! The rooftop bar was excellent; what a view! Quick check-in and check-out; courteous staff. The only negative was the relatively weak airconditioning, but that's the case with every hotel I've stayed at in Rome. I would stay here again on my next visit; I loved it.

The hotel is located right next to the Patheon. This is walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Collisium..essentially all of old Rome. The staff was friendly, curtious and professional. The room was large by Europe standards and was very comfortable. I recommend this hotel for those that want a downtown Rome experience. Great for a 2-3 day stay in Rome -- for those not afraid to walk a bit and explore on their own.

Fantastic Location next to the Pantheon. Didn't have time for breakfast but it looked very good. Room was small but adequate - most European rooms are smaller because they are located in older buildings. We highly recommend this hotel for its location and the service was good too!

Perfect location next to Pantheon; lots of life in the Piazza, but our room perfectly quiet. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Right in the center of Rome, the Pantheon at your doorstep. The personnel was very pleasant and welcoming, the room very comfortable and well heated. Although our window was on the square, noise was not an issue.

This hotel has extraordinary views and an amazing sytem of elevators that reduce the need to climb stairs almost completely. The rooms are quite spartan and in need of some updating: the beds are overly hard and the pillows lumpy, we quite literally had to pull a cord to flush our toilet (never fixed). Still, our room had a lovely balcony and the vieww of Praiano and Positano were breath-taking. The staff's friendliness was uneven - some people were very helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. In addition, the location is awkward as you can't walk into any town. Overall, not worth the price.

Great hotel, in an excellent location, facing the Piazza de la Rotonda with beautiful views of the Pantheon and square. We had a junior suite facing the square. It consisted of a small sitting area with views of the Pantheon. The bedroom area was of standard size and also had a beautiful view of the square and Pantheon. The air conditioner worked well, so one could close the windows at night and have perfect silence for sleeping. Breakfast was included and consisted of eggs, meats, cereals, a variety of pastries and an assortment of hot and cold beverages. The hotel staff was excellent; friendly, with a very service oriented attitude, taking the time to answer questions, provide orientation and make transportation arrangements. We travelled with my parents and the central location of the hotel made it easy for them to walk to Fontana Trevi, Piazza Navone, The Spanish Steps, The Colosseum. Vatican City was also a nice stroll from the hotel, or a 5 Euro cab ride. The taxi station was conveniently located across the hotel, on the other side of the square. A great experience overall.

Located RIGHT next door to the Panteheon, in a piazza with lots of activity and restaurants (but not too noisy or crowded -even in August) we loved this hotel. Beautiful room and bath. Great air conditioning. Extremely helpful staff who answered all our questions and had many good tourist suggestions. Treated us like special family. Location was central to everything in Rome and the continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. Don't miss the rooftop bar at sunset. You can see St. Peters' dome.

Rigtigt dejligt hotel placeret lige i centrum - nabo til en af de "Top 10" man bør se i Rom. Kan absolut afbefales hvis turen går til Rom.

vriendelijk, behulpzaam personeel. alles is schoon en netjes. ontbijt was prima niet heel erg uitgebreid, maar wat er was (oa vers fruit, warme croissants) was kwaliteit en meer dan genoeg.

Séjour excellent. Les enfants ont adoré l'hôtel. Le meilleur emplacement de tout Rome. Un personnel plus qu'aimable. Sans doute j'y retournerai.

Het hotel is slechts een drie sterren, maar het niveau is beter dan menig ander drie sterren hotel. Kamers zijn vrij groot, interieur is uitstekend. Kamers zijn schoon, badkamers met bad en een goede douche. Service was uitstekend, men spreekt zeer goed engels en men doet erg hun best om ook allerlei verzoeken in te willigen. Maar.... met name de locatie is fantastisch!

Meget bra hotell med god service og vennlig betjening. Fantastisk takterasse med bar hvor det var flott utsikt over Romas tak og hyggelig å se på solnedgangen. Små, men hyggelige rom med alt nødvendig utstyr. En del støy fra plassen utenfor, så ørepropper kan være nyttig.

Utrolig dejlig beliggenhed - skøn terasse på taget med udsigt over byen. Alle spændende attraktioner er indenfor gå-afstand.

Nice small and relaxed hotel perfectly located with walking distance to almost all sightseeings, restaurants and shopping areas. Right in the heart of Rome and the unforgetable atmosphere.

Avslutade med ett par dagar i Rom efter tre veckor i Toscana. Bokade detta hotel av en ren slump. Mycket trevlig personal på ett mycket trevligt hotel. Har svårt att tänka mig ett bättre läge. Nästa gång jag reser till Rom kommer jag garanterat bo på Albergo del Senata.
