Nice hotel; inconvenient location. The breakfast was too expensive; we were disappointed that the hotel did not include breakfast in the price of the room, while it was apparent that they did for some guests.

The Aldrovandi was beautiful, but rooms are very small. The walls are thin so the snorers could be heard in the next room. On the other side I could hear all of the telephone conversations. It is located in one of the quieter regions of central Rome, but a room on the main street is not recommended. Traffic runs all night long. Perhaps it is the decor and the Michelin star restaurant, "Baby," that gives it the rating of "Leading Hotels of the World." I would stay here again, but knowing the faults would be careful about room selection. Maybe a corner room over the pool?

We were impressed with the high standard of facilities and the service provided. The free shuttle service provided by the hotel to the Spanish Steps was excellent and the driver provided us with lots of information. We had booked tickets for the Vatican Museums on our second day and found that the number 19 tram, which stopped outside the hotel, took us right to the Vatican. The next day we went down to the Colliseum and again found that the number 3 tram took us from the hotel right to the Colliseum. The great asset of this hotel is the garden and outdoor pool area. When we returned from a day of sightseeing it was wonderful to relax on the loungers with cushions and towels provided by the staff. The hotel is located in an attractve residential area so we were concerned about finding places to eat. We were able to find two excellent restaurantes about ten minutes walk away in Via Luigi Luciani (Bellablu and Ristart).Opposite the hotel are the Borghese gardens which provide a lovely oasis of peace after the crowds in the city centre and it was an easy stroll to Villa Borghese and the Museum of Modern Art. Our room (411) overlooked the road but excellent double glazing meant that we were not disturbed by traffic noise. The air conditioning was one of the best we have experienced being very efficient but very quiet. Breakfast at 33 Euros is expensive but the buffet was extensive and the standard very high.

The place was jut 5 minutes walk from a large park, which in itself had a few good attractions. The hotel also provided a shuttle service to go down to the Spanish Steps. The people in the Hotel were very curtious and every night when I got back they would draw my curtains, leave by batk slippers next to the bed and leave the breakfast menu on the bed, which I found very nice. All together the stay here helped relieve the tiredness of all the walking we did every day.

Aldrovandi Palace was a delightful hotel! It is secluded and out of the hustle and bustle of Rome. However, it is only a short walk to the Spanish Steps or a very short complimentary shuttle ride away! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff was informative, courteous and always willing to help. I would definitely stay there on a return trip to Rome.

The front desk service left plenty to be desired with each and every interaction.

This is a 5-star hotel that should get a 2-star rating. The hotel is located across from the Villa Borghese area, which is very green. There are two systems in the hotel, air conditioning and heating only. The heating was turned off because of the weather, which was warm and the AC was not turned on and supposedly could not be turned on per the manager. When you open the windows to get air, the room is instantly filled with mosquitoes that ravage you and everybody in the room. If you looked on the ceiling and walls, you could see marks from other guests that had to kill the mosquitoes. The hotel room is very small, the beds arse very narrow, there is no air circulation and no screen or nettings on the windows to keep the mosquitoes and bugs out. I was very disappointed with this hotel.

Med en beliggenhed i Borghese Parken og kun 15 min. gang til enten Via Veneto eller Piazza del Popolo er det et pragtfuldt hotel. Hyggelig have med pool og en fantastisk god Michelin restaurant

Et veldig bra hotell med kjempegod service. Swimmingpoolen og bakhagen var fantastisk.

Verdt alle sine stjerne, ingenting å utsette!

Les trois prinicipaux critères ayant guidé mon choix sur cet établissement sont : 1- la piscine, obligatoire pour se détendre après une journée de visite 2- sa situation, il devait être relativement proche des principaux sites à visiter 3- le confort (le silence notamment) Pour information l'hotel met à disposition une navette pour la place d'Espagne toutes les demi heures. Attention celle ci est à réserver au près de la conciergerie. Sinon en flanant à travers le parc de la villa Borghese, Comptez 15-20 minutes. Pour information le parc est trés tranquille le soir (jusqu'à 23h). Pour finir prévilégiez une chambre donnant sur la piscine

Vi opplevde Hotellet som svært behagelig utgangspunkt for en byferie i Roma. "Shuttel bussen" som kjørte til Spanske trappen hver 1/2 time var svært praktisk. Dette gjorde at dette Hotellet opplevedes som mye mer sentralt beligenhet en hva det egentlig var. Hotelets Bassenget var forholdsvis lite, men fungerte allikevell perfekt som hvileplass hvor vi kunne roe ned og hente krefter til nest økt med sightseeing og utflukter til byen. Stive priser for øl, vin og drinker ved bassenget trekker litt ned.

Hotellet är diskret, elegant och stilfullt. En "madame" med klass! Service är femstjärnig utan att det blir för mycket...Rummen är små, ganska enkla, men rena och helt OK, men kanske inte den riktiga lyxkänslan. Enda nackdelen är att det kostar EUR 22 per dygn att koppla upp sig på internet.

gute, ruhige Lage (zuminest die Zi hinten raus), in Parknähe, fußläufig zur spanischen Treppe möglich, aber besser: stündlicher, kostenfreier Hotelshuttlebus. Sehr schönes alt-ehrwürdiges Hotel. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal.
