Renaissance Paris La Defense - La Defense

Usual great service and room from this chain. Marriot has consistent great properties all over the world

We were worried that generally Paris hotels meant “small rooms and even smaller bathrooms” and were relatively expensive so were delighted when we found this hotel. We were very impressed. It was the same size and standard of 4 star hotel room in the UK and proved good value for money. I immedaitely relaxed when I saw inside the hotel, it was lovely. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had slept in & the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Our only potential concern was that it may be a bit far out (zone 3 on the Metro), but actually this was a benefit, because the immediate area around the hotel was pedestrianised, (although there was a discreet road up to the hotel which allowed taxis etc) The result was no noisy traffic, night clubs etc which all made for a very quiet and undisturbed sleep. The business area had a nice feel. The metro is very close - about a 2 minute walk, which takes you relatively quickly into the centre of Paris, so felt we had the best of both worlds. There is a mall opposite the Metro with a supermarket and small cafes that are suitable for breakfast if you are on a room only basis. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Bed definately needs improvement-you can completely squeeze the mattress with your hand-no body support at night (cheap mattresses). A/C could not cool the room down because it was blowing room temperature air. Window allowed to be slightly opened-but even with the window cracked all night long we had to sleep under top sheets only-that's how hot in was in the room. (Even though outside it was only +5C). There was some mold at the bottom of the shower glass door in the bathroom-not very nice! Overall room cleaniness was O.K. Service in the hotel was very good-but it was more promises and smiles than actual progress to for eample fix A/C.

The hotel is well located for business travel. Room size is excelent Paris standard. Hotel sevices are very good, and is located next to a shopping center and a metro station.

Ligger i flashiga La Defénce och miljön runtomkring är därmed väldigt magnifik. Sängen var mjuk och det fanns väldigt många kuddar av olika mjukhet. Bättre skvättskydd vid badkaret/duschen skulle behövas. Blev rätt blött på golvet efter en dusch. Trycket var också lite var dåligt för min smak. Personalen i receptionen pratade bra engelska (tror till och med att en var från England) och var hjälpsamma.

Service, confort et accueil de bonne qualite. Bien situe mais difficile d'acces. Petits dejeuners de qualite mais onereux.

Bij aankomst bleek dat wij een upgrade naar een suite hadden gekregen. Een prachtige kamer en van alle gemakken voorzien met uitzicht op de Grande Arche. Vriendelijk personeel en uitstekend restaurant. Een echte aanrader!
