El hotel aunque bien situado, tiene una situación de un poco de abandono, la fitness room necesita un retoque, el spa, esta en obras y parado, y los pasillos y habitaciones se limpian un poco por encima, los suelos enmoquetados conservan la suciedad. Ademas el comedor, nunca se sabe cuando va a estar abierto, no cumplen con los horarios anunciados.

The Ramada LAX El Segundo is a pretty good hotel for the money. Our room was on the second floor right above the pool area. Service was good.

I chose the Hotel for a quiet study area with a nice area nearby to have dinner or relax before hitting the books for an an important job related test. The hotel is right by the freeway and at least 5 miles from resaurants and shops. The room was older and the table did not have any lighting or a coffee pot. I asked for a coffee pot and a desk lamp and went to study outside for lighting. while at the desk someone else was complaining about ants and no coffee pot. I arrived at my room for an evening study session and still no lamp. At the desk someone else was complaining about a cockroach in their room. The clerk said they had no lamps available. I eventually had to be moved into an upgraded room to have adequate lighting, and needed to take my coffee pot from the old room. on the last day i also saw some ants in the shower area. I would not recommend this place to anyone on business, or recreation. The Gym is a joke and the Sauna/Jacuzzi is on permanent hiatus. Try somewhere else for a pleasant stay.

The hotel overall was fine for the amount of money we paid. There were only a couple of problems. The restaurant and bar that was in the hotel had wierd hours and closed very early, so it did us no good. The other problem was that our key card didn't work the second day. The person at the front desk said that this may have been due to the fact that the cards were near a cell phone. Everything else was good though. The area looked safe, the room was clean, and it was near the freeway, so it was easy to get around.

The front desk clerk was abrupt and rude. I saw him raise his voice at the couple in font of me. He checked me in a gave me a key that did not work. He tried 4 more keys before giving me another room. I had ants in my room, reported it and nothing happened. I checked out two days early and no one could tell me how to get a refund from a prepaid room.

THIS HOTEL WAS THE WORSE! The hotel was the worse that I have ever stayed in! This hotel was filthy, it smelled horrible, there was trash all over the hotel elevator, and the elevators were broken, when you push the up button the broken elevator would open, when you push the down button then the working elevator would come. I asked for a non smoking room I got a room that was supposed to be non smoking but smelled like everyone had smoked in it prior to my arrival. The front desk was rude and had no customer service, after driving over 4 ½ hours to Los Angeles I was advised that the hotel canceled my room because I was not there before a certain time. And threaten to kick me out of the hotel if I didn’t get my reservation situation resolved by 7am in the morning! Once I called hotel.com (who were very helpful) and finally got to my room to rest I was awaken at 8 am in the morning by a chain saw cutting down palm trees outside my window! There was hair in my shower (not mine) and I never received maid service, and because they didn’t technically give me a room on a Friday and I was came at 4am Saturday morning then I didn’t stay two days leaving Sunday and did not get maid service I was told they did not do that!!! This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone I have spread the word around that this hotel was more like a hO tell.

stuff friendly, nothing extraordinarily top, but worth the money - reasonably close to LAX and car rental companies, room size ok, garage first floor, hi-speed internet on first attempt ok, for smokers smoking rooms available, would do it again..

It is right next to the freeway. Maid service was polite and nice. The 2nd floor seemed to be very empty aside from us.

At least 2 sets of towels should be in the room and ready to go. Having to ask for extra towels is weird! The pillows and sheets are worn out and should be replaced more often. You should provide hand soap to wash your hands in the bathroom. But, overall the accommodations are okay.

The hotel did what a hotel should do, but definitely have a car when staying here (unless you are just going to and from the airport, in which case they have a shuttle service most hours of the day). There is no bus service, and the surrounding areas are more or less the ghettos of LA. There is a subway stop nearby, but I wouldn't recommend it under any condition. The hotel itself was fine. The restaurant wasn't in service and the hot tub didn't work, but the pool was nice and easy to access. No fridge in our room, and the coffee pot was missing.

The hotel was nice and had a very friendly staff. The beds were uncomfortable but what can you expect from a room at that price. The pool area was very neat-open and had a nice waterfall running. We had to request extra towels and it took awhile for them to get there but other than that we ad no major problems. I did enjoy having a safe spot to park my car at night.

Its a nice enough hotel, and the price makes it a spectacular deal. Parking is $5 a night, which is also a real bargain for the LA area trust me. Only one ice machine worked while we were there, but it was never out of ice. It is right on the 405 which will take you anywhere you need to go (sometimes very slowly).

Carpet had a major stain no refrigerator the bathroom had ants. When checking in staff was not really welcoming with this being a Ramada i did expect a cleaner friendlier establishment.

Quarter roll of toilet paper greeted us when we entered on first day. Complementary shampoo empty day 2 not replaced until day 6. 2d day breakfast in site restaurant ordered fruit and yogurt told fruit not available no yogurt offered. Room very dark despite all lights on unable to read on bed. Requested higher watt bulbs hotel refused. Bought (2) 23 watt fluorescent bulbs and and solved this problem. Hotel staff in most instances could not communicate in English. Often staff not found at reception counter during our stay. No bell or other means to let staff know you are waiting.

The Ramada was close to the airport and easy to find. The coffee shop, bar, and gift shop were all closed. The reception at the hotel was the only thing opened. It was clean and pleasant. It served our needs. If I were going to stay for a vacation I would choose another hotel but for just overnight to catch a flight it served its purpose.

I have been staying at this hotel for little more than a week - Overall I think it is a good hotel for the price - My only complain is the wireless internet access in the rooms that it is so unstable that it is basically unusable. Internet access in the lobby is a bit better. The room I am in is very big and comfortable. Nice big king bad and decent furniture.

Discount rate on offer makes this hotel a much better value than comparable "2 star" no amenity lodging in this area. I've stayed here twice recently because it fits my budget and location is relatively convenient (although no neighborhood conveniences other than a nearby Denny's). Hotel's physical condition has clearly seen better days but it is clean and secure. This trip my first two nights had no satellite TV signal ("it's a problem with the satellite service") but they kindly offered free dinner to compensate. WiFi worked just fine. Free parking, unlike other LAX hotels. The restaurant, bar and in-lobby convenience shop are nice features, as is the pool.

At times i was unable to get anything to eat as the Resteraunt was shut & when i did i ordered the Fish in a beer batter with chips. The fish was not cooked it was still frozen in the middle & the chips were just frozen ones. The Bar did not open until 5 o,clock at night & on a number of occasions it did not open at all.

As soon as you walk into the room, you know you made a mistake. The room smells, the bed sheets didn't smell or feel clean. The bathroom had pee stains, the A/C didn't work so we had to move to another room. The room we moved to had all the same problem except theh A/C worked. We asked for air freshner, the hotel clerk said he'll check with housekeeping but we never heard back. The pictures from this hotel looks good but they must have been taken from when the building was new. Unless they do a major overhaul, stay away!!!

Front desk staff not inviting. No aknowledgment as you walked in, no smile, no nothing. One morning a staff member was behind the front desk with nothing but an undershirt on. Ability to handle a negative situation (customer service issue) with another customer well below standards. Front desk personnel was not appologetic what so ever and acted as though they did not care. Dirty towels left on lounge chairs in pool area throughout the night and not picked up until mid day the following day. Exceptionaly poor location from a commuting perspective. Unable to turn left (west) out of hotel torwards all major buildings so you must make a right from the hotel, then a left at intersection (u-turn prohibited) then a u-turn down the street to come back and make a right back onto the initial street. All in all, poor customer service, poor location, same price as everywhere else. Not recommended nor will I ever stay there again.

My wife and I were returning from Mexico and arrived at LAX just after midnight. Our connecting flight didn't leave until 10:40 the next morning so knowing this, I booked a room at this motel a month before. It was perfect as far as the location and quality of the room were concerned. Our only issue was the lack of shuttle service to the motel at that hour. Other name brand motels had a direct link to a phone in the baggage claim area so I don't know what the issue would be.

Hotel has spacious rooms however they are in need of updating. i.e. need new bathroom fixtures like toilet bowls that are not peeling and burned. Some bathrooms have minor mold issues. The bed covers could also do with a really good cleaning!!! The rooms also need wifi.

the price was good but the hotel is a little rough around the edges, mold in the shower, non english speaking help, nonfuctional excersize room and wirlpool and stained blankets. the restaunt food was just OK.

This hotel was ok. The room service was not good at all. nothing worked in our room. The phone wouldnt work and the air conditioning, and the tv did not work. We had requested a micro & Fridge but never got it. it was not all that clean. There was dust about everywhere. But i can say that i did like our room. It was big and spacecious. But we did not get our moneys worth. But i can say that i was satisfied from hotels.com. They did help me find a hotel. Thank you.

Our room was nice and clean, with all the extras you would expect. I found the bed very comfortable. The shuttle service is the only real complaint I have about this hotel. They do not start shuttle service until 7AM and when you need to be at the airport at 6AM it is a bit frustrating.
