Conrad Dublin - Dublín

Having never stayed in a Conrad before, we didn't know what we've been missing. Considering it's location and amenities, it is very well priced. Just the other side of St. Stevens Green it is walking distance to everything. The roomm was very comfortable and service was excellent. The help was European and sometimes couldn't understand our needs, but this was very easily overcome.

Well what can I say the hotel was perfect. It's location in Dublin was just right. It was very clean, the room was a very good size and had all the requirements one could need. Even the price of drinks in the bar were very acceptable considering the class of the hotel. Breakfast was superb and even arriving at the 11th hour the food available was hot and fresh with still plenty of choice. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. Truly a great stay and I would recommend to anyone.

Very good hotel, though Gym equipment outdated. 5*? would say 4*, but then again i have stayed in many hotels.

I took my 13 year old son away for a few days to Dublin as a treat. To make it extra special I thought we would book a 5 star hotel. The Conrad Hilton is not 5 star, it is nice enough, but fairly standard, especially the rooms, which are very small. The service standard was limited, many staff had a poor grasp of english. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, when they were requested, I was told it was not policy and I could use room service. Tea needs to be made using boiling water, so room service is no good. Overall nice enough, but I would grade the hotel as middle of the road 4 star.

Great location. Bedroom very clean and comfortable. The bed was great! Thought the hotel was starting o look a little shabby. Thought a 5* hotel would serve a freshly cooked breakfast - very disappointed with overall standard of food. Staff plesant enough but had a tendancy to stand around talking to each other. Again, I would not expect this in a 5* establishment.

Excellent standard of hotel. Within walking distrance of St Stephen's Green and Grafton Street - 5 minutes.

On arrival the concierge was very friendly & helpful, as were the other staff. Rooms were a good size,modern decor and well-equipped. Only complaint about the room was that there are no tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom was very clean and shower gel, shampoo etc were lovely. Hotel is in a quiet location, it is convenient to access the rest of the city and easy to find, just left off Leeson St. Parking is secure & good value at €10 per night. Breakfast was served in a bright, pleasant room and the quality/variety of food on offer was excellent. The food in Alfie's bar/grill was very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

We had a really comfortable and enjoyable 2 night break in the Conrad. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. It would be nice if there were tea & Coffee making facilites in the room but apart from that all that you would need was provided for. The hotel is ideally located for comuting by foot to the main shopping areas in Dublin. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

I stayed in the Conrad in June and I chose that hotel because there was a fantastic deal on a Junior King Suite of half price, so I splashed out on that for a treat for the weekend. We were going to the Gaiety Theatre at the top of Grafton St for the evening and it was a superb location for that, and for shopping. Less than 10 minute walk through St Stephen's Green and the shops are there! The hotel is right on St Stephen's Green so it was very central, but is on a quiet road off the Green so there was no noise at night, even on a busy Saturday night with the window open! The room itself was a suite, so I think it was proabaly of a higher standard than the other rooms - it was lovely, I would say very suited to the busoness traveller rather than being luxurious or romantic, but the bathroom was huge and the bed was very comfortable and the suite was very clean so we were very happy. The breakfast was good, but I wouldn't say outstanding - when we were there they had run out of a few things at the buffet, but the quality was good - had to wait a while for coffee and toast but the dining room was busy, so that was fine. The stay was great, but I think having the suite was what made it worthwhile, so if you can get a great dela on it I would recommend it - otherwise, it is a lot of money for a stay which is very good, rather than absolutely fantastic.

Arrived late in afternoon to be met by sullen receptionist..Unhappy with size of Junior Suite and rang same receptionist with comment that it was much smaller than anticipated- She replied in her inimitable way" Thats what was booked and thats what you got"-that abruptly ended that conrsation. The restaurant staff were friendly and very efficient. .Wont be back.

Outstanding service and great rooms

Great location opposite Stevens green. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much to ask. Unfortunately Alfie byrnes Bar was only open until 8pm which was disappointing. Room on the small side but extremely comfortable with a luxurious bathroom. Our room had a balcony which was a bonus in the sunshine. On our arrival we ordered a plate of assorted sandwiches, they were delicious and delivered on a trolley! buckets of ice were delivered expressly every morning and evening. the papers were delivered evey morning and the breakfast was beautiful.On our departure the Concierge was waiting for us with our luggage and lots of the staff bid us farewell. A fabulous break at the Conrad. We will definately stay there again.

just back from lovely girly weekend with sister and mom and stayed in conrad near the stephens green and would highly recommend it. breakfast outstanding and soooo fresh.to be able to have a lovely stroll through the stephens green park both mornings was so relaxing and refreshing. we were able to jump on the luas which was great. loved the hotel, staff very helpful and very clean.

I stayed one night at the Conrad with my wife & my mother. We had two junior suites, which were very nice. The hotel is beautiful, the room clean & comfortable. Buffet Breakfast at the Alex was lovely, with great choices for both cold & hot food. A very enjoyable stay. Would come back to the Conrad.

Conrad hotels used to ring a bell meaning "upmarket" since I thought this hotel would be of the standards of the Hotel Conrad in Brussels which is a fabulous hotel ! very disappointing compared to the one in Brussels. Should not be given more than 3 1/2 stars. Staff ok but not friendly at reception. No smiles. Gym : pathetic equipment , old fashioned. B&B standards without friendly reception. There must be better places to stay at in Dublin. Good location to go sightseeing which is a PLUS . Breakfast : good but once again, the catering staff did not seem happy to be working there . Don't think we'd stay there again.

Hotel is 15 mins walk from the centre..which suited us fine as we like a walk..breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from..room had everything you needed apart from tea/coffee if you like that..

Our stay was very comfortable, staff great, the only disappointment was no tea making facilities in the rooms.

Our 1-night stay at the Conrad exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived at the Conrad to the time we left the next day, the staff was ready to answer any questions, extremely friendly and professional, and a pleasure to interact with. The hotel was very well maintained and the bed was soooo comfortable it made it difficult to get up and see the Dublin sites...but we did. I'd recommend the Conrad Dublin for anyone who wants to enjoy a 5 star hotel at a reasonable price. By the way, dinner and dinner service were supurb!!!

Really disappointed by the service of the staff. Nobody smiled, nobody was overly happy to help and we were not made to feel welcome.

My wife and I were very apprehensive about chosing a hotel in the centre of Dublin close to shops.No need to have worried as the hotel was ashort walk either through St Stephen's Green or around.Grafton Street shops were nearby and then a slightly longer walk to the Temple Bar area.Local buses stop nearby and there is a Taxi Rank outside the hotel.If you are in a rush and don't want to eat breakfast in the hotel there are plenty of snack places nearby to grab a bagel and coffee.The staff and the standards were very high.

Dejligt hotel i udkanten af centrum med gå afstand til alle seværdigheder, med super service, gode senge og dyner, dejlig morgenmad og til rigtig god pris! Helt klart anbefalelsesværdigt! Vi havde ikke været i Dublin før, og havde derfor svært ved at kende/vurdere beliggenhed - gode områder/dårlige områder, støj mv. - men dette opfyldte alle vores ønsker til fulde.

Wij verbleven 5 nachten obv logies ontbijt in een junior suite. We boekten een 50% korting op het tarief, anders zou ik het wel erg duur gevonden hebben. Het Conrad Hotal behoort tot de groep van Hilton Hotels (meest luxe categorie). 5 sterren hotel, zonder zwembad (dat is wel jammer bij 5 sterren), verder alles prima. Over het algemeen een ouder (bejaard) publiek in het hotel, lekker rustig dus, maar wel saai. Sfeer in het hotel verder wat standaard: 'echt hotel-achtig'. Van de faciliteiten van het hotel hebben we verder geen gebruik gemaakt, behalve room-service voor het ontbijt. Prima ontbijt, volledig naar wens te kiezen, zeer uitgebreid, vers fruit, cappucino, je hoeft maar te bestellen. Dat alles voor slechts 5 euro extra kosten. Aanrader!! Ligging van het hotel is prima, net ten zuiden van alle drukte, daardoor soms iets verder lopen (geen bezwaar), maar wel de zekerheid van een rustige nacht; en dat is lekker, zeker in Dublin. Kortom: met een 50% korting zeker waar voor je geld en aan te bevelen!!

Hotellet var topp på alle mulige måter. Veldig bra standard på rommet Kjekt med det lille ekstra som morgenkåpe, tøfler, paraply,ny vannflaske på nattbordet hver dag, nydelige såper og shampoo og til og med munnvann.Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening i resepsjonen.Frokosten var helt kjempebra, både varm og kald mat, og de som jobbet i frokostsalen var utrolig serviceinnstilt. Satte også pris på at mye av pålegget var porsjonspakket.

Hotellets ansatte var meget service orienteret. Man følte sig godt tilpas. De skaffede hvad man lige havde brug for, plaster, snor, taxa og internet adgang. Vi fik et meget posetivt indtryk

En fantastisk mottakelse og særdeles god service. Rent og pent. God mat både i restaurat og bar. Gjorde oppholdet i Dublin fullkomment og vi kommer definitivt til å velge dette hotellet ved neste besøk. Vi hadde frokosten inkludert og den anbefales på det varmeste.
