I flew in from Philadelphia, and my buddy from West England. I chose this hotel based on other reviews and it was even better than I expected. First and foremost, is the Fuerte's location, I don't think it could have been any better for the price. It is on the beach and a 3 block walk into the heart of Old Town. The grounds were very well kept, pool was clean, as was our room. We were hoping for a little more social activity at night, but we were there at the end of May, which is not quite "in season" yet. The staff was very helpful and the I thought the food was excellent at the hotel, although I only had lunch there twice. The breakfast buffet was also better than I expceted, just about everything you could imagine for a buffet. I spent hours researching all the hotels in Marbella and this hotel kept coming towards the top 5, and after viewing the locations of the other hotels I considered, I was extremely happy with my decision.

When i booked i requested a double bed, when i checked in I was given a room with 2 single beds, then shown another room with 2 beds and only on the third attempt did i get aroom with a double bed, room was quiet small with a view of the car park, overall a nice hotel

"Fabulous - have to return"

I always wanted to stay in a hotel which was luxurious yet informal at once and the El Feurte ticked all the boxes. A relaxing haven right at the beach, the hotel has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sun deck, spa and lots of terraces to enjoy a drink while taking in the stunning view. We went for a short break, but it had enough entertainment available for a family holiday. Dining was a gastronomic treat, fresh fish grilled while you wait, choice of buffet or a la carte. staff were pleasant and helpful, while at the same time unobtrusive. There was nightly entertainment in the Nobel bar, Spanish traditional music and dance. All in all an enjoyable and refreshing stay. We will be back.

We stayed in this hotel thirty years ago. It has been extended and modernised whilst retaining some old world charm. It is directly on the beach with wonderful views out to sea. A perfect location in a lovely place.

Hotel was in a perfect location. The hotel is situated right on the beach and only a 2 minute walk to the historical section of Marbella.

I will definately go back to this wonderful hotel. Beautiful situated by the sea. Great atmosphere! Good location, close to the sea and the old town of Marbella. Close to all shops and good with the parking space outside the hotel. The breakfast is great and if you get a room with seaview it's wonderful. Nice evening events in the bar.
