I really enjoyed my stay at The Eaton Hotel. From the second we arrived to when we left the staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. On the evening of my birthday I got back to my room and found the most beautiful birthday cake and card waiting for me from the hotel what a lovely suprise! The bar is good with great cocktails and the restaurant serves some of the nicest food I had in Hong Kong. Its also in a great location a quiet area just around the corner from jordan mtr station which is great for reaching most of the tourist attractions or shopping in Hong Kong.

what a great hotel. We opted for e club membership which is slightly dearer. What we didnt realise was it was a full breakfast , cake and buscuits all day and hot food at night. drinks are free and available all day. it was fantastic value. You could eat there all day and not have to pay to eat at night because you had enough at the hotel if you were on a tight budget

compared to the other hotels in this price bracket it's the best. I know many hotels in this area. Better rooms than many more expemsive in TST. Food also very good value and big portions. Bar drinks can be a bit pricey but checkl out the happy hour. Pool very small and not very inviting. location ecelent, just 5 mins walk from Jordan MTR station. A compact hotel with a nice vibe would fecommend to anyone.

Comentado por un huésped de Hotels.com el jul 25, 2009.
the happy hour ad in front of bar said 2 for 1 and when I was asked "ready for another martini" - a well drink--I said yes, thinking it was the 2 for 1. Upon presentation of the bill, for two martinis I was then told, 2 for one only applies to wine and beer, but their ad did not indicate that. Most would expect that a well drink would be included in happy hour 2 for 1 if that ad wasn't further specific.

I'm a regular here and whilst its a short (10 min) walk from the mega shopping of lower Nathan Road, that's a good thing. You can escape the bustle and its only a HKD$18.00 trip by taxi. Staff are great, food good and they have recently lowered their prices of drinks in the bar. Sadly they have removed the live music from Planters Bar which was always a relaxing element after a day's work. Swimming pool and sun terrace only good for 6 people, but I never get time to use it anyway.

Beautiful rooms although abit small. Definitely a place to consider especially at the affordable price per room.

I arrived at the hotel at 09h30 intending to leave my bags at the left luggage and check-in later in the day but was pleasantly surprised to be able to check-in immediately. The staff were extremely courteous and very efficient and I was in my room within minutes and able to shower - a welcome relief after a long overnight flight. On the day of my departure, I left my bags in the left luggage and was allowed to return to the hotel in the evening and shower and change in the hotel's health spa before my 14 hour midnight flight to London/Edinburgh. The hotel is conveniently located on Nathan Road and close to the Jordan MTR station, providing easy access to Star Ferry , Admiralty and Central and great shopping on Nathan Road. The Temple Street Markets are a few minutes walk away and the Jade Markets are easily accessed by MTR.

I walked into this hotel and frankly do not think it is 4 star caliber. 3 stars would be more accurate as i am used to 4 start hotels like Venetian, Palazzo and others that are much higher caliber. The worst part was the smell of the room. It smelt very damp and rotten like they had not cleaned it for a few months. The smell was so bad that your brain would not get use to the smell even after being in it for a while. This was unacceptable and this was the vert first time i have ever experienced this. The neighborhood was also not that great and was away from the Tsim Sha Tsui area that you want to be in. I had no view in my room at all. I will make sure i stay in a 5 start hotel next time i am in HK if this is any benchmark for 5 stars. I guess the only thing going for it was the slightly cheaper price but i would rather pay more and stay somewhere else. Sorry i just have to be honest.

Very good location, walking distance to Jordon MTR station and street market. I have stayed in the deluxe rooms and basic rooms. The deluxe room very comfortable; great bed, soft pillow, and spacious for working. If you stay in the basic room ask for the double bed, much more comfortable then the single. The AC worked and easy to control. I would stay here again if i can get the double bed. Only one negative, the beer and the food cost way too much in hotel. Go to the street market and enjoy the local taste.

This hotel was a very nice surprise. I've stayed in HK many times, but always in the Tsim Sha Tsui area, which can be very pricey. This hotel was much more moderately priced, but still a very nice and well located property. The only negative issue was the size of the room which was small, but adequate - very compact and efficient. I found no other negatives about the room, the hotel itself, or the staff (who were all very professional and courteous.) I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hong Kong.

I thought that the hotel was great other than my room. Great location, nice pool, gym, nice bars/restaurant and lovely outdoor patio. Nice and helpful staff, although I kept getting bags that were not mine delivered to my room. The bathroom in my room was plenty big and spotless, but the rest of the room needed some serious updating: rugs and sealing seemed old and there was this weird contraption by the bed to turn off the the lights. But I have to saw, it was clean! Linens were spotless.

This is a great hotel to stay in HOng Kong, located on Nathan Road near stores, malls, only 7 minute taxi ride to Kowloon Station. Front desk is NOT helpful, hotel concierge is good , very good actually with directions, getting you a cab and telling the driver where to drop you off, etc. The room is clean, kind of small but comfortable, A/C is very good. Breakfast buffet is 20 U.S. dollars, it is only ok, nothing fantastic but they will make you an omelete, fry you egges, three types of juices, coffe is decent, not too bad but I think it is expensive at 20 U.S. dollars per person. I think 10 dollars would be fair , not 20. Internet service is available in your room for 20 U.S. dollars for every 24 hours. There are 4 or 5 computers in the lower floor available for hotel guests for free. It is a nice, clean hotel , decent service, I would go back there again. It is worth the money.

Eaton Hotel is conveniently located on Nathan Road between two Mass Transit Rail stations. Reception is located on the 4th floor but that's no problem. Desk staff are extremely helpful, I mentioned my 65th birthday was going to be during our stay and was given an excellent room on the 17th floor. Came back to the room on the night of my birthday to find a card and a large birthday cake, nice touch. Windows don't appear to be double glazed so the higher the floor the better as the hotel is next to an overpass leading to one of the tunnels to HK Island. Traffic noise is noticeable but muted. Rooms are typically small for Hong Kong but very comfortable with all conveniences. The bed was extremely comfortable and very clean. Bar prices are again, typically Hong Kong, and very high but there are small grocers type shops very close who sell alcohol and there is a mini bar in the room which can be used to store items. Didn't try the restaurant as we ate out in our old haunts having spent nearly 5 years in HK but the menus looked good if pricey. There are 4 PC's in the ground floor coffee bar which are free to use for hotel guests and internet access is free. Transport to airport is 1st class, regular free shuttle bus outside hotel takes 10 mins to Kowloon Station where you can check in your luggage and take the airport express train. 20 mins later you're in the terminal building.

This was a great hotel in the heart of the Kowloon side in HK. The rooms might be small by western standards, but we thought it was great. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and wonderfully helpful. The hotel is right by the Temple Street Night market so it was very close to some of the attractions, and if you're not afraid of walking, even the south most tip to the Star Ferry and Macau took us less than half an hour by foot. My only complaint was that I couldn't figure out how to turn off the lights at night without taking out your room key and I had to pay for in-room internet access, but other than that - it was a great place to stay! I will surely recommend a stay there.
