Waldorf Madeleine Hotel - París

Being on a sightseeing vacation in Paris, you want a place to come back to that is comfortable. The bed was fantastic and definitely got the rest you needed to go out and tour again the next day. The location of the hotel was great as well - convenient to many metro stops and even in decent walking distance to many sights on the Right Bank. Would definitely stay there again.

Not what we are used to at this price. Needs updating.

Nice clean hotel with good service, friendly staff and comfortable beds, but small and slightly cramped, although I understand most boutique type hotels in Paris are....... Reception area leads you to think you have made a good choice, but then unless you have paid for a bigger room you will be disappointed by the size of the room and bathroom. If you have paid for a bigger room you will get what I see as standard sized hotel room! Breakfast was a joke so don't bother, eat out! The breakfast room had six tables for two in what I think is a 45 bedroom hotel, not much capacity! Long queue and stress first thing which on a relaxing weekend away you want to avoid!

The hotel is ideally located for shops, Metro and eating out. Rooms are not the largest but we only used it to sleep in. Bed was fantastically comfortable the we had walked around for about 5 hours. Take the side road around the corner from entrance to get to Metro station quicker.

My mother and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet, impeccably clean, well furnished, with helpful, friendly staff and in an excellent central location. The only drawback was breakfast which was priced at 18 euros per person, and unsurprisingly we had not seen this advertised anywhere prior to arrival.

This Hotel satisfied our desire for a "Chic Parisian Hotel" without too much fuss or pretentiousness. The staff were knowledgeable, bi-lingual, gracious. The room was very comfortable, elegant and had a small balcony. The hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood within walking distances of Blvd. Madeleine and Eglise Madeleine; five minutes walk from Place de La Concorde and the left bank. A short taxi ride from Gard du Nord for the Eurostar to London; ten minutes walking from Champs Elysee; and two minutes from Place Madeleine with patisserie and upscale shopping. Thank you for introducing us to this lovely hotel.

This small hotel is perfect if you want a classy boutique hotel and love to shop. I will be going back in July. And recommending it to friends. Along with hotels.com. I absolutely got the best advice and rates possible, and I checked all over the web. We also had a very late arrival and all was well, and we got 2 great rooms. Not huge, but, large by Paris standards.

For one of the three days we were there, there was no hot water. The hotel made no effort to assuage the situation other than post a sign by the elevator. It would have been nice if they had apologized or perhaps had offered a complimentary breakfast.

Hotel was very pleasent and so was the staff. No one helped with luggage but I did not request it. Very clean and had nice linen. I would stay there again.

L'hôtel est petit, mais très bien tenu. J'y retournerai si je dois encore loger dans ce coin-là!
