Hyatt Place Baltimore/BWI Airport - Linthicum Heights

What a great place...it was convenient to uptown, beltway and downtown. Rates were very affordable, front desk staff were kind and very helpful, and the housekeepers and maintenance workers were also friendly. The room size was perfect, bathroom was a little small, but was clean and served the purpose. There was a nice vanity area, hair dryer, ironing board, closet and chest of drawer space. Also room had small kitchenette with sink, minifridge (wasn't really cold) and coffee/coffee pot. There was also a desk with lamp, fold out sofa and extra blankets! The bed was really comfortable and pillows were soft! The dining area was clean, breakfast was basic, but healthy with toast, muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, oj, coffee, water and milk. Other food was available for purchase. All in all....love it!

Clean, friendly environment, very convenient and near airport

The room was great,had every thing but a wet bar.

We were very impressed with the overall appearance of the hotel, the employees were polite, friendly and ready to help with anything. The location to the airport was great and having the schuttle available was wonderful. Close to a variety of restaurants with very good food. We would definetely stay here again and the comfort of the hotel made the departure from our family a bit easier.

The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. If staying in Baltimore overnight, I would stay there again.

I was very pleased with my experience at Hyatt Place. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Considering the prices of other local hotels, I would most definitely recommend the Hyatt Place for your stay.

I left a comment card to brag about what a great place. Coast to coast regardless of north south east west. I love this place. A refrigerator in my room and not being charged daily for it. Lovely sitting room for another bed area. Clean, spacious. Didn't discover the vast breakfast array; beyond carbs and starches 'hot, protein source'..extra charge but so what. My only recommendation was to support 'green' conservation; provide lots more towel hooks/racks. only one in a two person room.Plus, more of the front desk staff could smile, welcome even acknowledge guests versus keeping heads down at computer after having seen guests.

The room was perfect for the number of people we had with us. The Staff was more than courteous. The pool was very nice too...

The hotel itself is very nice and comfortable. The staff, however, was unfriendly and unaccomodating. The front desk clerk barely acknowledged us when we arrived and we were offered no help with our luggage. All of the hotel employees seemed dour and uninterested in our needs.

The hotel was nice and reasonably well kept. My only complaint was that the pool was closed the entire weekend we were there with no warning on the hotel web site. Our daughter was disapointed.

The staff was excellent. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only down side was the check in kiosk. There was a large party of guests at the desk, so we decided to use the kiosk. It could not find our reservation with our credit card or the booking number. That said, the staff was so fast, the big party had already gone up stairs and the desk staff checked us in super quick!

Do not ask for a king size bed, the room came with a shower that was very awkward, it had a shower head with a long handle and kept falling off it's base. The room also had no bureau, otherwise the room was great. We would stay again, only in a different room.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt. For the price, it was quite nice. The decor is contemporary and comfortable. We found the staff to be courteous and attentive. It was convenient having a restaurant next door. We would definitely stay there again.

A Great hotel...... staff and hotel very very nice!!!

I was shocked when I saw the room, for the price I paid. It was much more "plush" and felt more like an upgrade than the room I had anticipated. The staff were especially friendly and pointed us in the direction of an outstanding restaurant in the local area.

Stayed with 2 grandchildren and everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very large spacious room for four. Would stay again. Ruby Tuesdays right across the parking lot was very convenient. Super place for the money

I tried to log in the self-service kiosk but wasn't able to. I went to the customer service desk and there was an African American lady in front of me. The front desk personnel was assisting her. I'm guessing she assumed I was with her since I'm African American and begin giving us both the tour information together. I wasn't insulted but I was surprised she made this assumption. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The cups were dirty. Their was hair in the sink and bathroom (not mine). We had a power outage for an hour. If I didn't have my laptop, I would not have had any lights. No one who worked their new what was going on. Thank God I have a cell phone because when the power left the hotel's phone didn't work. Shortly thereafter, our toilet got clogged. We called the receptionist at 10 PM, she said someone would be right up. By 11:30 no one showed. I called again, another operator said they didn't fix clogged toilets and I would have to come get a plunger and do it my self. After getting the dirty plunger and not being successfully able to get it unclogged, I called back at 12:30 AM and asked for help. They send a man up who was not pleased to help. He was so grouchy and unpleasant I couldn't wait until he left. Overall, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Customer service means everything to me.

I really loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were excellent, they were comfortable and a little spacey which is what I like. The pool was nice, perfect temperature, clean. Overall the hotel covered all the expectations I had for it. I'm glad I chose to stay at the Hyatt Place Baltimore. :)

First stop of our trip. We were very satified with this place. We hoped the rest of the our hotels would be half as good.

The room was great, very big, newly renovated and very fast checkin and check out. The bathroom and closet were both small but manageable. Ruby Tuesday located right out the front door.

I'll start off by saying that overall my stay was alright. Prior to arriving at the hotel, I called a few days in advance to request two double beds instead of a king bed. Upon arrival, the change that I had called to request was not reflected in their system. After several minutes of back and forth argument with the front desk staff, we were promised a double room in the morning. During our exchange the staff member stated that to compensate us for the mis-communication, she would provide complimentary glasses of wine for us in our room. After almost 45mins passed and we called the front desk to inquire about our wine and we were told that the staff member had left for the day. We explained the promise that was made to us to the current staff and had to wait another 30mins while he called her on the phone to verify. Bottom line- the hotel needs to train their staff in customer service and follow up.

Spacious rooms with LCD tvs. Very comfortable beds. Ordering food through the hotel is painfully slow. Decent fitness center with modern equipment. Only complaint is a certain female staff member who we found dismissive and poorly matched at the front desk.

Overall, the room was spacious and comfortable. However, the bathroom door would not close nor the deadbolt latch would not close. The room did not have a service directory or any other information related to the area, restaurants, etc.

My wife and I travel. A lot. This trip was to see family in the DC area. We were recently impressed with another Hyatt stay in St. Louis a few weeks back and have enjoyed Hyatt Place in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. The decor and style of both the room and lobby are great. Proximity to the airport is perfect. Close to Bob Evans for breakfast. Used kiosks for check in and check out and worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

This was a very nice hotel to stay out. It was easy check in with the kiosk, the front desk greeted us afterwards. The room was very nice. The only draw back was the bathroom was little small but other than that excellent place to stay.

Everyone could not of been any nicer. I only wished I could of stayed longer.

Great hotel for the price. Ruby Tuesday restaurant located across the parking lot - great food especially since it is open till 11 or midnight most nights! Hotel staff was great with complementary shuttle service to/from the airport/amtrak/marc station. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

The only issue me and my fiance had with the hotel is the first impression. The woman at the front desk originally didn't want to check us in and kept urging us to do the express check in through the kiosk. We had to convince her to check us into our hotel room. That was a bad first impression for our first visit to the hotel.

Nice & roomy. Would be great for a family of four because it provides "living space". Only thing that I would see as a problem is the size of the bathtub/toilet area. Because the door swings into that area, it makes it tight for larger patrons. Otherwise well thought out spacial relations and pleasant atmosphere.

I highly recommend The Hyatt Place. I've stayed here several times and had a great expericence every time.

Our stay at this hotel was comfortable and as expected. Loved the 42" plasma TV and complimentary wireless. It was the only hotel I found that did not charge a fee for having an extra person (3 of us) in one room. Only minor complaint was the quality of the breakfast. There was only cereal, yogurt, and OJ/milk that was free. The hot breakfast like omelette for example had to be ordered, which costs money.

The pool closes too early and opens late, the beds were uncomfortable. the tub was coming apart. The free breakfast barely qualifies as a continental breakfast. Not worth the money at all!

Overall, for the price this is a rgeat hotel in a nice quiet location. With recent rennovations, everything is nice and clean. You can't go wrong here.

outstanding hotel

the hotel staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. it was a wonderful stay!

This was my first time staying at the Hyatt Place, the price I paidfor the room seemed like a bargain for what I got out of it! The price was great, the room was excellent and so was the service! The room was larger then what I expected and definately clean! This hotel was great!

Hotel bar was closed for some reason and not advertised on website as being closed bathroom needed more attention to cleanliness 24 hour food service was a little misleading nighttime hotel staff was very friendly as was shuttle service
