Hotel Rotary Geneva - MGallery Collection - Ginebra

We thought that this hotel was very a very comfortable place to base ourselves whilst stopping in Geneva. The room was excellent - a free up-grade! The location is good because the station is only a few minutes walk away, the bus station is an even shorter walk. A free ticket to use Geneva's buses, trams and the little water-buses on the lake was available from the desk. The beautiful lake and the Old Town are close by. We would certainly stay at The Hotel Rotary again.

We really enjoyed the Rotary. Very convenient to everything in central Geneva. Excellent staff and comfortable rooms.

this hotel Rotary at Geneva is aging and is in need of renovation , none the less the up keep and comfort levels are good .the complimentary wifi services were good , staff were generally helpful , though they seemed understaffed . location is very central and convenient .i would go back again

If you want to be near to everything and in a safe location, you shall choose this hotel. You may not have the spectacular views of Four Seasons Hotels which is only 3 minutes away...but you definitely not pay that much either! As this hotel is not overlooking at the lake, the prices drop dramatically BUT it has the great advantage of being just next door to all the high profile hotels of Geneva. 2 minutes from the bridge, a startbucks in the corner and actually everything on your doorstep. I travelled with my mother for one night and wanted a safe place where we can walk alone night and that we will not need to pay any extra money for taxi. That was then the one! Please receptionists, concierge, a nice relaxing bar but a bit of an overpriced restaurant...just go to the old city for SO MANY lovely restaurants around the cathedral. Have fun!

The hotel and staff were great. I think all of the staff spoke English, most very well and they were all super friendly and courtieous. Hotel was very clean and comfortable and also in a good location close to the lake and very close to the train station. The only thing I wouldn't recommend was the restaurant in the Hotel. The food was very expensive and wasn't really all that good, certainly not the quality expected for the price. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance though.

We found the Rotary to be a very accomodating hotel. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and well informed from local restaurants to the right bus stops. Our rooms were a good size and the bed extremely large and comfortable. The hotel only has a very small bar and restaurant so we ate and drank out. The only downside of the rooms was that they were over heated but then it is very cold outside! Overall we had a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

Hotel in great location easy for rail/airport. Hotel rooms to high standard. Would visit again.

Ihave stayed atthe Sofital geneva for the past 5 years. My mother summers in Switzerland and we meet in Geneva each August.The hotel is well located. The staff is extremely helpful. The rooms are lovely. The bathrooms,however, are difficult for anyone with physical limitations

Acceuil personaliser et très professionel, staf disponible et souriant, service de voiturier, mini bar, wifi tout y est et de qualité. Emplacement parfait a deux pas du lac! Merci

that hotel has a quiet good location and stuff was very friendly very helpfull.but in switzerland all the buildings have old decoration that's the only problem.

Siamo stati sistemati in una camera al 5° piano, accessibile tramite ripidissima scala fino al primo piano e successivo ascensore fino al 5°. La camera, dignitosa, è stata chiaramente ricavata da una soffitta: altezza forse 240 cm. , forse anche meno, pavimenti in legno scricchiolanti, ma moquettati bene, servizio diviso in due, da una parte piccolo wc con microlavandino ma senza bidet, dall'altra un lavandino e la doccia/ vasca.Il tutto comunque pulito e curato. I guai sul fronte ristorazione: abbiamo avuto la sventura di prestare ascolto al consiglio di un impiegato dell'hotel, che ci ha suggerito di avvalerci del loro ristorante, vista l'ora tarda (le 20:30!! ) e la difficoltà di trovare posto in un ristorante "esterno". Esperienza traumatica sia dal punto di vista culinario ( alcuni pezzetti di i carne cotta decisamente troppo, quindi decisamente dura, mescolati con verdure di difficile identificazione, il tutto bagnato da mezzo litro di un men che mediocre vino sfuso) sia dal punto di vista finanziario (ben 126 franchi svizzeri in due, che al cambio fanno circa 82 euro). Ne siamo usciti scontenti e pure affamati. Quindi , per dormire può andar bene ( per gli standard di Ginevra non è neanche troppo caro), per mangiare evitarlo come la peste: con meno abbiamo mangiato di più e, soprattutto, incomparabilmente meglio, scegliendo "a naso" un paio di posti raggiungibili a piedi in dieci minuti dall'hotel.
