it was ok considering the price i paid. but the toilet in my restroom kept stopping up. parking was ten bucks for the whole stay there. some channels on m television had poor quality.

Friendly staff, very convenient restaurant inside with good food at decent prices. Location was perfect for the Wiltern Theatre. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Burn holes in the sheets. a head sized hole in the bathroom door. no service. had to go downstairs at 12am to get my own pillow. Front desk person refused to bring it to the room. The whole thing was ridiculous. I cant say i was satisfied with anything. absolutely terrible.

I never give feedback if hotels I stay in are good but because it's so horrible I had to let everyone know. I stayed there for 4 nights. I didn't know they had to hold 100 dollars from a card or cash. I stay in many hotels and only give them a credit card to hold, once I start using service they well take it out from my card. Well this place, if you dont use service or do, they well have to hold a 100 dollars from your card, if not, a 100 dollar cash. Never going there again. Secondly, I had to pay 10 dollars for parking ticket, another 10 dollars for microwave each night, and if I dont pay that, there is NO MICROWAVE in the lobby to us. We had to eat COLD FOODS for the four days we were there. Last, I was in the forth foor and there where NO internet service there, I was to high up.. SUCK, Plus the wall where so thin, we hard Chinese people yelling out on the hall all night. I was PISS.. The pay is not worth it at all. I'll never stay there again comparing the choses I had to chose in LA. I think MOTEL 6 or 8 is a better place and the price is way better

lets see... the hotel is small but its reasonably well priced for the area. although the only problem i really had was with the parking. they have one little lot and no other parking. my girlfriend had to park around the corner and down the street at a parking meter and i had to walk out every two hours and put more quarters in. if your traveling with only one car you should be fine but if there is more than one vehicle you might want to spend a couple of extra dollars to go to a nicer hotel.

Not too posh but clean enough. Really close and easy for going to Wiltern Theater. Lots of places to eat and drink an easy walk away. A little expensive considering the plastic ice bucket, plastic cups and crappy soap and shampoo but adequate.

The room smelled of mold and the fixtures and decor were old and out dated. The bathroom was below standard and the fact that there were no other amenities on the property was a real turn off.

Everything stunk like cigarettes. It was like an old casino hotel. Very unimpressive. Unfriendly service. No smiles. This is my 7th time using hotels.com and this is the first dissapointment. Not even worth crashing for just the night. You can stay somewhere else close by less and probably get a better experience.

There is no complementary breakfast. The pillows were hard and there is no spanish television stations in California it seemed unbelievable. People were friendly and the waiter at the restaurant great!!! To stay at a 1 night considerete but staying more and with family not!!!

Our experience at the ramada was ok. we only needed a hotel for one nights stay because we had a concert at the wiltern. for only one night, it's not too bad, but i wouldn't recommend it for any longer than that. the location was nice for us because it was only about a blocks walk away from the wiltern, but that was about the only plus. lots of water stains on the ceilings. bedspread/sheets were clean. beds extremely small. hotel itself was very hot no air conditioning. each room had own air conditioner which was fine but when you first walk in the heat hits you very fast. i would only stay here again if i was going to a concert at the wiltern and just needed it for one night.

the a/c was broken in our room and there was no other room for us to stay in. we had to sleep in sauna level heat for 2 nights. completely unacceptable.

The Ramada is within 10 miles of most major landmarks in LA, and a half-hour drive to the beach. The bathroom seemed clean, but just run-down in general. The room was not big, but the price was right. This is a good hotel, with good customer service, but is old, and not spotless. Neither myself nor my girlfriend had any problems with the bathroom or bed, and this hotel is overall, a good deal. Beware: they charge an extra $10 to allow you to park in their garage. It was a fine stay with no problems, and met my expectations.

we were satisfied with the hotel, its staff and it's room. in our second night of stay the people upstairs had a party , we couldn't sleep at all that night. other than this, everything about the hotel was great. we would stay there again in other next trips.

I'm the least needy person, but damm this hotel was not worth the money. The carpets were sticky (illl). As soon as I got there, they charged me for parking, they didn't have the room that I specificly booked, they had to move me into a lesser value room and still charged me the same, they had no vending machines in the building I stood in, they had no area to microwave food, the lady offered me to heat my food up behind the counter, (so un-professional and not sanitary) later they rented me a microwave which they made me buy with cash, Then I had to persuade them to give me a receipt as proof, then the next day the lady tried to re-charge me for the microwave (I knew I saved that recipt for a reason) Aside of that I lost the recipt for my parking so she re-charged me for parking during check out. (I felt cheated). Good location, nice japanese and korean restaurnt close by is the only positive thing I had to say about the hotel... Sorry

The Hotel looked much better in the online pictures. Location was good, but it was old, dark & kinda dirty. I called the front desk ("0") from the room over & over w/no answer. I finally called the hotel phone # directly & got an answer. When I told the lady no one was answering, she just said, "Well what do you need?". Then, when I checked out, they were going to charge me for that local call. They couldn't provide me with a reciept since I booked on Hotels.com & I would have to get one online. That shouldn't matter.

Deplorable. I had to contact hotels.com twice for the people at the front desk could not find my reservation. Once I get there the customer service is unsatisfactory and the room was infested with ants. Deplorable place to stay.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It looked ok from the outside but once we got inside it changed from there. At checkin the desk clerk tried to charge me for 7 days for Chris something when I was there for 2 days and my name is Amy. The hallways stank, there were cigarette burns everywhere, partial painting in various spots, the ceiling tiles were moldy. When we ordered room service from the hotel, after waiting about 45 mins, I finally went downstairs to find out where the food was and met the server in the elevator. The food was lukewarm and the chicken fingers were raw in the middle. I was not looking forward to the night two. We made it through but I would not recommend this to anyone.

First, I don't think this hotel is nearly as bad as other reviews have said. The hotel was in need of repairs, but they were in the process of doing some while I was there. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was in walking distance of a lot of things which was good since parking was a little sparse. I had a little trouble with the wireless Internet at first, but the staff helped me out and gave me the correct codes at the front desk, it worked fine after that. Overall, I think the hotel could use some work but the stay was comfortable and met all my needs.

The staff was really friendly, even the guy that was pulling a 16 hour shift! They upgraded our room to a suite because they ran out or double bed rooms, which didnt bother us! We were in the room long enough to get ready and sleep. We felt safe in the area that it was in. All around, it was a good experience.

This hotel is showing it's age. I chose it because it is close to a family member's home. I like a good cup of coffee in the morning. It has no restaurant and the closest place for breakfast (for example) is at least two blocks away and that's a Dennys. Their continental buffet breakfast is sparse and closes at 9:30. If you snooze you lose. But..it IS only a 2-star hotel and if you just want a place to sleep with no frills it will do. It has two buildings. Maybe I was in the older one.

I booked this hotel through Hotels.com and was confirmed as having a non-smoking room. When I got there my room was a smoking one and the desk staff claimed that hotels.com had only 'registered a request' for a non-smoking room, and not confirmed it. Either way, the smoking room was just disgusting, reeking of stale smoke. By the morning I had a really bad sore throat from the putrid air. The room was also dirty and very shabby. The bedclothes (not the sheets) looked like they had not been washed in years. The wireless internet only barely worked if I held my computer out the window. Breakfast was typical junk, watered down OJ, limp coffee etc. This is definitely a hotel to avoid unless you are really desperate! The hotels.com people were quite helpful when I phoned to complain and they managed to get the rest of my planned stay at this hotel cancelled without penalty. They did find me a room for the next day at somewhere else, but I am not convinced that they really have access to all hotels, since the one I eventually got was 10miles away from where I wanted to be. They kept saying that 'everything in Los Anglese was full' (it's a hell of a big place and I find this hard to believe!), so it felt like their statement was really 'everything that hotels.com has access to is full'.

Ichecked in and five minutes later I checked out. The rooms smelled the coffee table was old and beat up. There was ant at the check in counter. I ended up driving around looking for a clean hotel!

Location wasn't as bad as the previous reviews stated. Very close to many famous attractions in LA. We got upgraded to a suite when we checked in which was awesome!!!...king size bed was very conferable, bathroom was huge, A/C wasn't the best but it wasn't that hot... so it was fine!! Overall it was a nice stay and I would stay again if the opportunity came up.

I booked my reservation on line as a non-smoking room, but at arrival I was offered a smoker room, they did not have non-smoker rooms available. I addressed the issue with the front desk clerk and the hotel's manager on duty, and was bumped to a non-smoker suite with out additional cost. That to me was an excelent service, because I was tired from a 5 hour driving trip. Upon my departure I mentioned to the hotel personel, that I would not hesitate to come back and used this hotel, but would recommend it to my friends and associates.
