Hotel Lyon Bastille - París

Situated next to the Gard du Lyon station this hotel provides you with a good base from where you can visit the sights of Paris. The area is quiet safe and you are close to a main station on the underground network. The hotel was well kept with friendly staff. The rooms were clean and had good air conditioning. The lift was very small and the shower was at waste height only.

1st trip to Paris and selected this hotel based on location and reviews. Its a French Hotel! Room small, bed very comfortable. Staff did a very good job accommodating and cleaning. Its a French hotel! Small elevator, good for one person and luggage. Great location to major metro center; easily accessed the main attractions. Not a bad walk to Notre Dame. I found it a good value for the money!

Getting to Paris is allways a problem. CDG Airport must be one of the worst in the workld and the rail service is not only dirty but is a mystery to visitors which gets worse as you get to Paris Nord. However, once in Paris it is worth the effort. The Hotel Lyon Bastille is very clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. My room was well decorated and at the fornt of the hotel almost facing the Gare Lyon. I would definately use this as a base for business and pleasure and the cost was acceptable. As there are a lot of restaurants around you don't really need a four star hotel to enjoy Paris. And thisoen in the 12th district is well worth a visit.

Hotel room as clean and quiet. I was expecting a little more for the money, but it was close to a metro station and there is a grocery store close by. Seeing that I was by myself, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a romantic getaway. Not bad overall.

The room was clean but the shower was awkward. I had expected breakfast to be included, but it was not. Apparently, this is common in European hotels. The proximity to the train station was very convenient.

Clean, quiet, decent sized room at a very good price. Nice, convenient neighborhood close to Metro (Gare de Lyon), several restaurants, internet cafe etc. Friendly staff. Only gripe was that it needed some maintenance work done...paint peeling in bathroom, carpets stained.

Great location near the metro and near shops and cafes.

We've stayed here several times before; initially because of its location close to the Gare de Lyon. However, we enjoyed it so much, in combination with the location and good value, that we standardly book our 2-3 nights in Paris here.

Betjeningen var trivelig og vi fikk god service. Beliggenheten er sentral, og det er lett å komme seg til Gare de Lyon, men det er et stykke å gå inn til de mest sentrale områdene. Leiesykler er forøvrig et godt alternativ, og det er flere sykkelstasjoner ved Gare de Lyon. Hotellet er et greit alternativ for de som ikke stiller de største krav til standard.
