Park Inn Bochum - Bochum

The location is excellent for those who want to travel via bus or train. The hotel is directly across the road from Bochum Hauptbahnhof and the bus terminus and is situated within a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area. The hotel itself is modern and clean with friendly staff who are more than willing to help. The room (914) was a smoking room and was situated at the back of the hotel, thus away from the traffic noise, although with the excellent double glazing and air conditioning, any noise is unlikely to be a problem unless you have a window open. The room was spacious and light with modern lighting and furnishing and a king size bed. The minibar was adequate, but rather expensive. The coffee making facilities consisted of a kettle and assorted coffee sachets and tea bags. It is quite unusual to find a kettle in hotel rooms in Germany, so this made a nice change and was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel over a slightly cheaper option close by. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a shower over the bath-tub. I did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot comment on that aspect. There are plenty of good places to eat within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Apart from the disturbance irritation, I recommend this hotel highly. My only gripe with the hotel was the cleaner failing to understand the Do not disturb sign which I placed on the door handle. (see below).

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral direkt am Hauptbahnhof und ist sehr bequem für mich Leider war mein Zimmer zum Teil schon sehr abgewohnt Der Teppich war abgenutzt und der Stuhl hatte Flecken Es ist sehr angenehm dass man sich in dem Zimmer einen Kaffee oder Tee kochen kann

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt Der Check In unkompliziert und schnell Das Zimmer großzügig und mit allem nötigen Comfort ausgestattet Das Bad ausgestattet mit Badewanne Fön Kosmetikspiegel beleuchtet sowie Badartikel Das Zimmer verfügte über einen Plasmabildschirm einer Minibar und einem Hosenbügler somit alles vorhanden Kann den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen Gerne wieder Danke

Lage ist optimal für Stadtbesuch.

Das Hotel war super, freundliches Personal, schönes Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbüffett war einmalig, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen

Wir waren absolut zufrieden mit dem Service und dem Hotel selbst. Sauber, Zimmerausstattung entspricht dem zu erwartenden Standard, hilfsbereites Personal. Die unerwartet notwendig gewordene Nutzung von Hotelrechner (als solcher kostenfrei) und Scanner (dito) war auch kein Problem, allerdings ist die Internetnutzung mit mindestens 17?/Tag etwas happig. Also nur wenn absolut notwendig! Frühstück kostet 14?, war aber abwechslungsreich. Zentrale Lage direkt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof. Wer wegen 'Starlight Express' anreist kann vom Hotel entweder laufen (ca. 15 Minuten), oder das Taxi für rund 6 ?/Fahrt nehmen.
