New Hotel Charlemagne - Bruselas

Not impressed by the attituide of the night staff. Some of the day staff very nice, but after hours its different

Our 2nd stay at this hotel, 1st time was penthouse suite so staying in ordinary room disappointing. To order food a little expensive as we think they order it out, even though they have a diningroom available. Breakfast really expensive. Conveniently located to metro station only a couple of stops away from town. Good restaurants very close by.

Firstly they didn't seem to have my booking. I informde them had booked on line and they then found the booking. I got the worst room in the hotel. One of the windows was brokjen and wouldn't close. I spent the night cold and listening to the traffic, no way you would sleep it out. I couldn't stand in the showher because of alack of space and there was no shower curtain, i spent ten minutes mopping up the floor. I complained and they took n noticve, Don't stay in room 804 or the Hotel. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

the room was very clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location for meetings at the European Commission.

Modern hotel. Managed to get an upgraded room and a discount from this website. Didn't use the restaurant. Has a few nice restaurants and bars around the area. Right on the doorstep of the EU buildings and the old city felt very accessible from the hotel - we usually just walked down Loi.

I stayed for 2 nights in comfort room. Quite comfortable and very quiet, room was on 2nd floor. Breakfast a bit pricey if not included in your package but extremely relaxing dining room, very laid back atmosphere, ideal for a quiet read at breakfast time, I didn't feel in the least bit rushed. Hotel ideal if you want to be in near The EU buildings.

The hotel was not at all as nice as the website made it seem. The room was simply ugly, bed was too small, and let me tell you about the room service...the food was gross, we ordered mushroom soup and it wound up being some soup made from an instant packet that wasn't even stirred thoroughly. The people at the hotel weren't friendly at all. We felt that we were doing something wrong by simply staying at this hotel. Find a better one!

we stayed here as a stop-off on the way back from holland. it was cheap, but not great by any stretch of the imagination. free parking- there are only 6 spaces for the whole hotel! breakfast (buffet only) didn't look great and was Euro 21 each!! so we didn't try it.

Very friendly Staff..

I can't fault the hotel. In a nice are, good price, friendly staff, clean rooms and not a bad breakfast thrown in. No faults at all really.

This hotel may be called the New Hotel but its distinctly old school business standard here. However, its location is superb next to the Commissison, ideally situated in the Schuman area with good restaurants and bars in a stone's throw but there's no luxury on offer.

We spent 30 days traveling to 8 countries in Europe and New Hotel Charlemagne was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at. It's located a short distance from the City Center and the Metro is needed to get back and forth. The hotel is located just a few minutes from the European Commission in a neighborhood we felt very safe in. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. This was the only European hotel we stayed at that actually had a bathtub, which was very much appreciated.

For the price you really couldn't fault the room - basic but very clean. The metro stop is a two minute walk away and only four stops to the city centre. The staff were very helpful. Unfortuantely the bar was never open and the breakfast was very overpriced.

Our room was horribly small, and had furnishings from the 1970's. Granted, one of the people in our group had a beautifully redecorated room, but that was small comfort given that his room was only $20 more than ours. The lobby was dreary, and the gentleman at the front desk was completely disinterested in helping us find a restaurant as the one in the hotel was not open.

Hotellet har flere typer rom. Jeg bodde på 504, som virket nyrenovert, men kollegaen min bodde i 2.etg på et ganske nedslitt rom. Rommet var betalt på forhånd, men hotellet forlangte €7,15 i tillegg for "city tax" - det var uventet. Frokosten var OK, men dyr (over €20). Genial beliggenhet for møter i EU-hovedkvarteret, ett kvartal unna.

Koude douche in de ochtend en schuine wand die rechtop staan belemmerd.

hôtel dégueulasse, à notre arrivé ils ont voulu nous donner une chambre avec des traces sur le mur, et où il n y avait pas de poignets sur les portes du placard. Une porte de placard avec des poignets arrachés! est ce digne d'un 4* ? je ne crois pas! Personnel sans gout du service. moquette sale avec des traces d'urines, toilettes avec odeurs suspectes. les murs sont mal insonorisés, nous avons entendu plusieurs couples le même soir. Vraiment très déçu de cet hôtel, je n y retournerai jamais et je le déconseille vivement.

Αξιοπρεπές ξενοδοχείο. Διευκολύνθηκα πάρα πολύ από την τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου. ΄Ηταν σε κεντρικό σημείο, μπόρεσα να το εντοπίσω πολύ εύκολα, εύκολη πρόσβαση προς την γραμμή λεωφορείου από και προς το αεροδρόμιο και κοντά με το κέντρο της πόλης και το σταθμό των τρένων. Ησυχία κατά τη διάρκεια της νύχτας και σε ωραία περιοχή.

Jeg ble overrasket ved utsjekking da mannen i resepsjonen krevde "city tax", ettersom det det stod at alle skatter og avgifter var dekket på kvitteringen fra Hotels.com. Men bevares, helt greit hotell, og særdeles praktisk beliggenhet.

Hotel tranquillo e pulito vicinissimo alla Commissione Europea. Tranquillo e silenzioso, lontano dalle zone più turistiche ma comodo per raggiungere i mezzi pubblici. Camere ordinate e pulite, anche se prive di molto spazio per muoversi.

A hotel szoba tágas, modern bútorokkal van felszerelve, az összbenyomás nagyon kellemes volt. Az árát mindenképpen megéri

L'hôtel est dans un quartier d'affaire, près de la Comission européenne. Cependant lorsque l'on se rend dans une ville pour le plaisir, il est agréable de pouvoir profiter des lieux touristiques ou même inconnus mais qui ne manquent pas de charme. Bruxelles est une très belle ville mais il vaut mieux être accompagné pour profiter pleinement de ce qu'elle a à donner. De plus la chambre, dans laquelle je me suis retrouvé, était sans doute grande mais le lit prend toute la place (lit deux places) ce qui gâche le plaisir et la mobilité dans la chambre. Il aurait fallu plus d'espace. Sans cela j'ai apprécié le service de chambre qui ne nous a pas dérangé durant notre séjour ainsi que la politesse et la disponibilité des réceptionnistes.

le petit déjeuné à 22€....... et le dimanche pas de petit déjeuné possible à l'extérieur proche

It was a really good hotel. Clear, modern rooms, fully renovated bathroom, perfect services. Very Close from metro, and EU parliament. But breakfast is very expensive.

Hôtel très convenable. N'équivaut peut être pas à un quatre étoiles mais très satisfaisant quand même. Bien situé, à proximité du métro, au coeur du quartier européen. Calme en période estivale.

Ein sauberes, aber altmodisches Hotel direkt neben der Europäischen Kommission, nahe der Metro-Station "Schumann". Ein City-Tax-Zuschlag von 7,5 Prozent muss zusätzlich vor Ort gezahlt werden. Die Parkgarage bietet 3-5 Parkplätze für alle Hotelgäste. Gesamteindruck: Für den gezahlten Sonderpreis ein ordentliches Angebot, ansonsten jedoch nicht empfehlenswert.

Het lijkt erop dat de locatie, midden in de europeesche wijk, ervoor zotgt dat dit hotel toch wel vol zit, ook al zijn de faciliteiten beperkt en zelfs onverzorgd. In de parkeergarage is nauwelijks plek omdat het meer een opslagplaats lijkt te zijn. Veel van de kamers hebben geen airconditioning, heb daardoor geen oog dicht gedaan door de hitte. Kamer klein, kon nauwelijks rond het bed lopen. Geen stop voor het bad en nog vele kleine slordigheden. Ik ga niet meer terug.

Bien situé mais la chambre pour un 4* c'est très bof ...

Très bien situé, métro, bus, parcs à proximité, permettant de se rendre en centre très facilement et rapidement ! Le personnel : de manière général courtois et essai de rendre service si besoin, sauf 1 qui a été particulièrement désagréable ! Les chambres: pour un 4etoiles on s'attend à bcp mieux, en tout cas pour notre chambre... des amis ont payé un petit peu plus chère et ont eu un standing plus agréable (télé ecran plat, grand lit, SDB trés jolie). notre chambre été plus vieillotte, plus simple. La seul chose que nous avons retrouvé dans les 3 chambres que nous avons pu voir, c'est une odeur de cigarette tres forte, surtout avec la chaleur actuelle...!! nous avons demandé a changer de chambre...un peu mieux... agréable hotel pour passer un W-E, où la chambre est faite pour dormir uniquement.

Accueil déplorable et salle de bain sous cage d'escalier... Non!

l'acceuil est trés agréable avec des conseils sur la ville la piscine est exellente aprés une journée de marche seul point non positif l'eau chaude dans la journée est longue à venir Le petit déj est trés fournit

Le parking est un peu petit si on arrive tard, mais le quartier ne semble pas craindre pour autant. A part cela, séjour nickel, le personnel est toujours avenant.

Jeg bodde på dette hotellet i fjor sommer og hadde det utmerket. Denne gangen hadde de bare røykerom til meg. Rommet var så innrøykt at jeg mistet stemmen til det viktige møtet mitt neste morgen. Jeg kommer IKKE igjen.

Fredelig beliggenhed .tæt på metro.

Got cheap rooms in the part of the hotel that has not been rennovated. Uncomfortable beds. Clean and nice rooms. Very early cleaning service. might want to put a do not disturb sign up if you are a late sleeper.

Tres bon acceuil, et tres bonne prestation général, 3mn a pied du métro pour une facilité de déplacement dans bruxelles.J'y retournerai !!!

Hôtel très bien situé, à côté de la Commission européenne et très proche d'une ligne de métro (à 3 arrêts du centre ville) Hôtel cosy avec chambre spatieuses et superbe salle de bain conso du mini bar raisonnables

troppo costoso in rapporto alla qualità... sono stato fortunato per l'upgrade di camera altrimenti avrei avuto MOLTO sda ridire ma la struttura è vecchia anche se alcune camere sono state rinnovate

Für diesen Kurzaufenthalt gab es bei uns nichts zu bemängeln.

Situato in zona più adatta a viaggi di lavoro che di svago. Scarsità di locali serali nelle immediate vicinanze, anche per la cena. Camera grande e confortevole, bagno senza bidè ma grande e molto bello. Parcheggio auto decisamente inadeguato al tipo di hotel per l'esiguo numero di vetture che può ospitare. Colazioni ed eventuali extra molto "salati".

L'hotel è vicino alle istituzione europee e ad una fermata della metro (Schumann) molto ben collegata. La struttura non merita assolutamente le 4 stelle sfoggiate. Diciamo che è un due stelle e mezzo. Camere piccole e arredamento ormai consunto. Lo abbiamo pagato poco e quindi era comunque OK. Ma in confronto ad altri 4 e 4 stelle fa davvero una pessima figura.

The hotel was of a good sort but just regular!The service was at times from bad til very good.But i did not like that the taxi that was ordered the night before departure was 35-45min late. And it could have costed us the flight :( And i told the reseptionist to just phone another taxi company instead.But they insisted that the taxi was gone come so no need for ordering a new taxi,regardles of what i said :( Belgium and Brüssel was very nice and i enjoyed it big times. The hotel Charlemagne was ok,and with a ok price! By ordering it over the internet.

Hotellet ligger i et hyggelig, litt mindre turistifisert området i Brussel. Mange hyggelige restauranter og barer i nærheten. Typisk business hotel. Med andre ord: roomservice kommer kl 7 med mindre du sier fra/henger "ikke forstyrr" på døren...

hotel de grande classe : un seul regret la chambre n'était pas climatisé et il faisait très chaud ce jour là Sinon tout était parfait.

les chambres sont confortables et silencieuses, mais ne possèdent pas de charme véritable. Le prix du petit déjeuner est excessif.
