Rivoli Jardin Hotel - Helsinki

Hotel Ravoli was lovely the staff were very friendly and most helpful. The room was clean, fresh and spacious and the price was unbelieveable. We were only a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area and only a stones through from the harbour. We ended up walking to the train station with our luggage on our last day it weas so close. The street where the hotel is located is safe and quiet, It was a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Helsinki.

It was such a cute hotel with a friendly staff... FYI Tallin, Estonia is only a two-hour ferry ride....everyone should try to check it out

This Hotel offers a great location, helpful service, substantial breakfast and a well appointed, clean and comfortable room. The rooms are not small but not large.

about 10-min walk from the train station, close to shopping, and the main avenue. Breakfast was probably the best out of all the hotels stayed in Scandinavia. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Only minor thing was the rooms have been newly renovated, so ours had a bit of fresh paint smell I couldn't get used to.

I stayed at the Rivola Jardin in 2006 and was very pleased. So this year we booked rooms again and were not disappointed. The location is so convenient, the staff is most helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding!

Very good hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Room was quiet despite being opposite a club (only open Fri-Sun) - helped by quadruple glazing. Breakfast excellent. Location perfect for exploring downtown Helsinki. Highly recommended

I was very unimpressed with this hotel after the glowing description. The first room we were shown was verging on disgusting with big stains on the bed linen and a carpet which was just as bad. The receptionist then told me that there were no more double rooms available but did show me a twin room as an alternative. This was marginally better but it wasn't what i was after. I then asked if i could use their internet quickly (to find another hotel, which the receptionist worked out), after which they then very quickly said 'oh yes, we do actually have another double room that you can take a look at'. What a surprise! Anyway, this room was better than both the others, but it was still far from perfect. Being extremely tired though we decided to stay after all, but it was a close call. Breakfast was good although the area was very cramped and you had to share tables. There was also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The location of the Hotel was good, but I certainly wouldn't stay here again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are large by Europen standards, included breakfast more than adequate, location in quiet courtyard is short walk to major attractions, shopping, and public transportation. And the price is very friendly.

Very central hotel close to all the shops and restaurants. Quite small but cosy and beds were very comfortable. Good selection at breakfast and helpful staff.

This nice hotel is situated just a few blocks walking from the Esplanade, with all its shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed the breakfast with all the different dishes on offers. I would stay here again.

Renoveringsarbeten pågick med material i korridorerna (mars 09). Alla i personalen kunde inte svenska, men engelska. Det var mycket varmt på rummet, men man kunde öppna fönstret. Bra läge med OK pris.

Everthing fine except from that for 24 hours access to Internet we had to pay 15 Euro. In spite of that we had to pay for something which in most hotels with the same price is free the access to internet was extremely bad and only functioning when the computer was placed at certain spots

Vänlig och hjälpsam personal

Detta är en trestjärnig hotell i med fyra stjärnor. Ingenting skiljer hotellet från andra standard hotell. Rummet var ok - lite obekväm säng och kuddar, en AC som inte ville fungera, och en för liten del. Städningen och kvaliten på badrummet var dock mycket hög. Vidare var frukosten oinspirerad men det centrala läget kompenserade för det mest.

alldeles för dyrt i förhållande till standarden. Dåligt att de inte hade fritt internet på rummen (med tanke på priset).

Personal stets freundlich und gut informiert. Sogar über angesagte Clubs mit Live Musik. Sehr hilfreich und begeistert bei der gemeinsamen Suche nach dem perfekten Restaurant, oder der richtigen Bar.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Riant ontbijt. De kamer was netjes, helaas alleen uitzicht op een binnenplaats. Gelet op het hele hotel, was de douchevoorziening een tegenvaller. Te klein en met wateroverlast in het toiletgedeelte. Er is een riante saunavoorziening; echter niet kosteloos. Vanuit het hotel was je binnen 200 meter in het centrum.

L'hotel è in una posizione ottima per muoversi a piedi in tutta la parte più interessante di Helsinki. La prima colazione è di buona qualità e varietà anche se il ns. caffè espresso rimane un sogno. L'hotel è piccolo e raccolto e ciò giova evidentemente alla tranquillità e silenziosità della struttura. La camera a me assegnata era molto piccola (anche il bagno) e soprattutto il sistema letto, lenzuola, coperte agli antipodi rispetto alle abitudini italiane ossia: letto matrimoniale di dimensioni ridotte e coprimaterasso e "lenzuola" di dimensioni inferiori al materasso. Cordialità e disponibilità del personale di reception notevoli.

Het is een keurig en betaalbaar hotel met vriendelijke medewerkers en een prima locatie midden in het centrum, op loopafstand van alles.

Insgesamt zu empfehlen, einzig stehen nur wenige Parkplätze zur Verfügung.
