If you are expecting a kitchen, this is really just a burner with a mini fridge and a microwave, so don't plan on being a gourmet.

The hotel is nice and clean, we even got upgradet to a business room. The stuff is really friendly and helpful. Recommended would stay there again

Room was in perfect condition and quiet. Needed a login for internet access but you need to call front desk for it since they don't tell you when you check in. The staff is very accessible though so I felt very comfortable.

Just drove down from Los Angeles with the wife and kids to the San Diego Zoo and stayed at Days Inn for one night. It was pretty much what we expected, did not exceed our expectations, but pretty much met them. Room was a little outdated but clean, beds were comfortable, a/c could use improvement, felt a bit humid, but o.k. for one night. Fridge and microwave came in handy with the kids. Hope this helps.

We stayed here for a quick one night. We even checked in about 2am to find there was no parking but Deanna who worked at the front desk was nice enough to move her car and allow us to park right up front in the breezeway! She was so friendly and great!! We would definitely stay here again!

good value, Hotels.com offered a much reduced rate 40% off regular price. The location is right off the freeway you cannot go wrong at hotel circle. The parking spaces were tight. The room had a sink, mini fridge, microwave and stove w/pots & pans. The room was musty, carpets should be either deep cleaned or replaced.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I choose this hotel because it met my requirements of a relatively low price and a great location. I expected a simple room, but i got more. The bed was very comfortable, The shower was good size and had a shower head that adjusted to several different spray settings, and the TV had a very large line-up of channels available. I would stay at the Day's Hotel again

We got upgraded to Business--Microwave and Fridge in the room, complementary popcorn, granola bar and water Fast, free internet, nice down comforter.

The staff was great there were some small issues that they worked hard to correct. They were very attentive to us and helped when ever possible. The hotel rooms are a little outdated and the carpets could use replacing and/or a good cleaning. It was a little musty in our room. Overall for the price the hotel met our expectations and the staff far exceeded our expectations.

Hotel was comfortable, clean, very nice staff-- very helpful for everything we needed. Highly recommend for a reasonably priced hotel, esp if you just need a nice place to sleep.

It was comfortable, clean, close to many attractions

GREAT location, close to Sea World, Mission Beach and Down Town. Noisy freeway nearby, but that's to be expected-ask for a room away from the main drag. Otherwise- Nice clean rooms, friendly staff and nice pool and jacuzi. Enjoy!

The location was right in the middle of all of the things we wanted to see. Pool was nice, room was good and the staff was very attentive. For the price, this was outstanding!

We stayed for one night and it was worth the price. Very comfortable and peaceful. Children had a blast due to the X-Box in the room, it was a treat.

Hotel was clean and very comfortable. staff was very helpful and friendly. The only things I could say that would need improvement would be the cafe they were very slow, and there were no restrooms, we had to go back to hotel room to use the restroom. But the staff was friendly and the food was ok for the price. I reverved this hotel a head of time requesting a lower level but they could not accomadate us we stayed on the second floor and it was still nice and also quiet.

Plenty of hotels in the same location. I went with this one and enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I wasn't happy with this hotel, the room smelled of roach spray.

Very old hotel. Door was not sturdy, screws were loose, door key doesn't work well, was not feeling very safe. However, good location, friendly people, good amenities - microwave, fridge, shuttle from seaworld, zoo etc.

Room was less than I expected by far. Room had a mildew smell & sheets had holes in them. & I didn't feel comfortable walking around the room without my shoes on.

The only dissapointment is that the pool was closed by 11pm. Very clean establishment and hospitable staff. I would stay there again.

The toilet in room didn't flush 100% of the time, the bed springs were broken and I would slide off edge of bed onto floor, parking was atrocious -- I ended with half a dozen scratches on my car from that parking lot, the furnishings were very worn and I did not feel comfortable sitting on the sofa without a towel over it, the door had 1/2 inch crack between door and door frame and you could see through it into room while standing outside. I rigged up a towel to cover it for privacy. I chose this reservation because of the amazing reviews on this site, but I most certainly did not realize the value for the dollar spent and will not rely on this review board again for my decisioning.

The bathroom was dirty. Look behind the sliding door. The facilities were old. The POm Pom Restaurant was too expensive. We did not eat there. There was no complimentary breakfast. Parking was crowded. We will not stay there again.

If you want to stay within a stone's throw of all the main San Diego attractions (Balboa Park, the Zoo, museums, beaches, Old Town, Downtown, etc.) while saving some money, this is the place. With easy on/off access to the freeways, the staff was friendly, communicative, and helpful; the room quite comfortable and quiet. (First thing I noticed were the soft and comfy beds.) We stayed on the third floor of the east wing, and the only con we could come up with was the lack of an elevator to accomodate the upper 2 floors. For us anyway, hauling luggage got to be a chore.

Even though we had requested a non-smoking room, there seemed to be a "tinge" of smoke smell in the room but not enough to bother us in the long-run. Nice to have kitchenette even though we were only there overnight to make an early morning flight at the airport. Would definitely stay again. thanks .

Close to San Diego Zoo, easy to get on/off freeway. Nearby are 2 malls, grocery, pharmacy, fast food. Would stay again. A/C worked ok if not turned too cold, think it froze up one night of our stay.

Hotel was everything we expected. Location suited us fine. Room size would be better for two, but fit three in a pinch. If the price remains in same range we will stay there again.

Clean good service stay 2sep nights over 4 days when not at a friends both stay were great kids loved it. staff was gd rooms were beter than expected. would def stay again

The room was comfortable enough and coveniently located. However, we kept having trouble with the room key and they never fixed the problem, instead made us feel like we didn't know how to use it. I've been in many hotels with similar card key systems with no problems! As well, although the room looked clean, it had a musty smell which we covered with febreeze and Lysol. Also, although we didn't experience it, when we were checking in at about midnight, we saw the other building had guests who were having a big party in their rooms with much noise...I felt sorry for those who were beneath those rooms!

I've stayed here twice and everytime the service and cleanliness have been great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Well first of all the room was beautiful! The bathroom was very clean and nice, such as the shower it was very nice. My only problem was the kitchen it was way to small.

This hotel room was very nice for the price we paid. But you have to get past the bad service from the front desk staff. The guest services that answers the room phone was very nice and handled any requests very promptly. But the front desk staff is less than helpful in person. If you can deal with that, than the room was very nice. Microwave and refridgerator were very clean and worked great. Bathroom and kitchen area also were very clean. Good room if you are looking to save some money by not eating out 24/7.
