We stopped at Cambridge Suites for 2 nights as a base for seeing Toronto. Great rooms (3)! Very clean, tidy and up to date. We were able to walk to most sightseeing venues from the hotel which was fantastic. Reasonable value for money as well.

I Stayed at the Cambridge Suites Hotel in Toronto over the Labor day Weekend!! It was a Awesome place !! The Rooms were really Really and Clean!! Hotel Staff was Super and very nice!!! Location was Smack in the Middle of everywhere you would want to go in toronto Just Minutes away from The Movies Yonge Street and 15 min. walk away from the Rogers Center!! I went up for the yankees Series against the Bluejays!! My only Promblem was that the parking was a little Expensive per night!!! They also want you To leave a $300 Hundred dollar Deposit on your Credit Card!! That Wow me But I did it!! I can understand why!! They Have a lot of things there in the suites that are for the Guest to Enjoy!! So I would Say they are Covering there ASSets !!! In all the Hotel is a Wonderful Stay if your in the Toronto Area!!

Hotel is very centrally located and a good base for touring the area, however from looking at the reviews, we were of the impression the hotel would have been of a better standard. Maybe minor, but the carpet outside the bathroom looked to have been water stained over a long period of time and could have been updated without any great expense. Bathroom was small which was surprising for a room which was quite large. I still have a query with the hotel for a bill I received for mini bar services (which we did not avail of) after we had checked out !!!!, I wonder who is trying to benefit at my expense.

Our Cityscape Suite lived up to the good comments we'd seen on sites like this. Plenty of room, good storage, great view, fresh, comfortable beds and furniture. Even the elevators were top notch - very quick to come, important on the 20th floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location could not be beat, with subway and various streetcars within 5 min. walk, and the area is safe (if not the most interesting part of town). I would definitely return - good value, positive experience.

My family stayed at this hotel for three nights. The room was perfectly clean and was only one block away from the Queen subway station. We never had to drive anywhere including the Ontario Science Centre. It was only a couple of blocks way from the Eaton Centre. I do wish that it had an indoor pool, but it only has a whirlpool and sauna. That's ok we had plenty of other things to do instead of staying at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location was better than we had expected - close to subway, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, etc. Hotel staff was extremely helpful in getting us to the various tourist sites we wanted to see. We arrived in Toronto at Union Train Station and took a cab to the hotel, but walked to the Station for our return trip.

The suite was large, lovely and comfortable. I liked that the lobby was small - easy access to the elevators to the room. We had drinks in the hotel bar 2 of the 3 nights we stayed - it was quiet and cozy for talking with friends. There was a great breakfast spot right on the corner and shopping, theater and the base ball stadium were close by as well.

When I booked my stay at the Cambridge Suites Hotel I was expecting something outstanding from reading the reviews. While the location turned out to be great, I don't agree with the hype that other reviewers made this hotel out to be. The room was decent and pretty clean, but you could definitely tell it needed some updates (our walls were peeling, the bathroom ceiling was falling apart, the overall look just old). The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to assist us with anything. They went out of their way to make our stay better. We were able to walk to mostly anything we did (with the most being just over a mile), and we enjoyed being close to the Yonge/Dundas square, Eaton Centre, etc. Overall, decent hotel and I would probably stay there again, but don't expect a 5 star stay or any extravagances.

We visited Toronto for the 2009 Caribana Festivals and it was a great location. It's located downtown right near all of the local attractions. Everything is within 10 minutes of walking distance: restaurants, the Eaton Mall, CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, a slew of night life activities and other great Toronto spots. It's located at the heart of downtown but almost feels like a private location since it's not a huge hotel chain. The service was second to none and the rooms were fabulous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto especially if you are there for Caribana.

Our great experience began the moment we arrived. Check in, though were were two hours early, took less than a minute. The rooms are amazing. There is a living area with a pullout couch, a desk, a few chairs, a bedroom with pocket doors, a dressing area, and a bathroom. A sink and mini-fridge are also included. The room was very clean and the maid was very attentive. The hotel is walking distance or a short cab ride from many major attractions, fine dining, casual dining, and bars/clubs. I would totally stay there again.

The room is actually more like an apartment with separate bedroom, dressing area, bathroom, and living room/dining area. I joked that the room was bigger than most one-bedroom apartments in New York, but it's the truth! Room was clean, area was quiet, staff was always friendly and helpful. It was also close to Nathan Philips Square (the beautiful City Hall) and the Art Gallery of Ontario. It is also a short ride to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), which is a wonderful museum. IF you are in Toronto befor e the end of January 2010 be sure to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit at the ROM.

We arrived at the Cambridge Suite by car on a Friday afternoon. The directions were excellent, but there was no place in front of the hotel designated for guest parking while checking in (only taxi & limo parking), so we left the car in a no parking area and checked in quickly, getting instructions for parking in the hotel garage. The rest of our week's stay was very pleasant. The deluxe suite was one of the quietest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, and very spacious for such an affordable room in a downtown hotel. The room was a true suite, with a separate bedroom and living area. There was a wet bar with microwave and fridge, and the room had it's own thermostat. The temperature was very comfortable. The king bed was unusually firm and creeked a bit, but the bedding was clean and in good condition, and we slept well. We paid extra for internet access, and were only able to use one of our two laptops, but the wireless connection was fast and reliable. The room also had hardwired ethernet (we had to choose one or the other when signing up for access.) Furnishings seemed fairly new, with two flat panel TVs. New lamps were placed in the room during our stay. The fitness room is very limited, but better than nothing. The hotel does offer free access to a nearby health club - although finding the club on the sub-basement level of a nearby office building proved to be a challenge. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and checkout was fast and easy. There were no unexpected charges on my bill.

We had a Deluxe room on the 17th floor. The only bad part of our stay was cleaning service not getting to our room till 5:30 PM. The room itself was spotless, very comfortable and spacious. All the amenities listed were not only there but in great condition if not brand new. I especially appreciated being able to open the window (smoking room), having the sink mirror and wardrobe separate from the actual bathroom and being able to sleep in while my husband watched tv in the sitting room. We never once "stepped on each other's toes". The kitchenette area had a SS sink, a fridge and "real" silverware and china. The parking lot was well lit and secure (extra $)the internet was bit slow, bo as we pleased and the lot was well lit and secure. Location wise it could not be better. Just about everything is within walking distance and for those who need them, the subway and the trolley are just one block away. The rate was not exactly cheap but having stayed at other hotels in Toronto (and paying just about the same per night for a smaller room)I feel at Cambridge Suites we truly got our moneys worth. Cannot say anything about the in-house restaurant, as we did not dine there. The staff is incredibly corteous and efficient. Not 10 minutes after we checked in, someone showed up with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a "happy birthday" card for my husband. That is truly rare these days. This hotel will certainly be our first choice since now on.

This hotel completed our vacation in Toronto. I reserved a king suite on the 18th floor and got a perfect view of Richmond St and part of Lake Ontario. I asked for a crib for our 5-month old, and it was in the room before we checked in, very convenient. The room was a modern design with 2 living areas separated with a nice French door. 2 TVs. Parking, which was the main question on my mind, was a convenience. It's $22 a day including in/out privilages. What this means is that they will charge the flat $22 a day to your credit card while you can get out and in freely unlimited times. The elevator to the garage wasn't working on the next day of our stay. The hotel CEO sent a letter to each room explaining the issue, and mentioning that the alternative is available, which is the elevator from the building accross the street. Regardless of the incident, what mattered to me was how the hotel dealt with it. This hotel is 1 block away from Eaton center, 4th largest mall in Canada! It's also in the midst of downtown activities, walking distance to Hockey Hall of Fame and CN tower. The staff were very friendly and the room service was prompt. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in Toronto and my family and I will definetly be back again!

The Cambridge Suites hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are very large and very well kept. The wifi was a bit slow but their plug-in connection was super fast (over 35MB/s) which made connecting into my work's network easy. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to my friend. It's location is close to the downtown attractions (less than a miles walk) and also close to the night life (about 500m away). The once drawback of the hotel is the lack of a decent gym. They only had 4 cardio machine and no weight machines - which is less than I expected from a hotel of this quality. But even so, the gym was generally quiet so I never had to wait to use the machines.
