Best Western Hotel Cervantes - Sevilla

A lovely little hotel in traditional spanish style building recently renovated/decorated. Friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Hotel restaurant/bar is excellent with very helpful staff and good value for money. Breakfast in hotel was also very good.

This hotel is situated centrally within five to ten minutes' walk of the cathedral, Giralda and alcázar. It comprises three attractive buildings joined together. Our room was spacious and well-furnished with comfortable beds and the bathroom had everything you could want including a bidet and hairdryer. There is a pleasant courtyard garden in the middle of the complex. Limited, cramped underground parking is available for drivers with nerves of steel. The staff, however, guide you in and out efficiently. Didn't try the breakfasts. The promise of free 24-hour tea and coffee is barely honoured; there's a machine which isn't always accessible. Book parking at the hotel if you can. Parking at the city's car parks will cost you at least €24 a day while the hotel charges €16.

Central hotel, but beware that it is located in the medieval quarter of Seville which is a warren of narrow streets and small plazas. My wife and I got hopelessly lost twice trying to find our way back to the hotel! Hotel itself is old, room is small for a 4*, but it is clean and well maintained. We did not eat or drink in the hotel as there are plenty of restaurants and cafe shops within 10 mins walk.

No frills and not the most comfortable beds, but great location for a great price.

The room was spacious, bathroom was big and clean. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, cordial and very helpful to us (told us to get advance tickets to L Alhambra as it sells out quickly). This was a great room for the price, just a little walk from the Cathedral and Real Alcazares. My only complaint would be the floor in the bedroom needed to be swept. Overall, a really nice room at a very reasonable price.

Hotel is down a small side street about a ten minutes walk to the Cathedral area. Looks basic from outside but very pleasantly surprised inside. Typical andalucian courtyard with rooms around. Our room was very nice, spotlessly clean. Staff helpful and restaurant good. Would recommend and stay again.

Checked in to find a very small stuffy room; I've stayed in many European hotels and know what to expect. This didn't measure up. We were moved to another room in a hallway being painted; the odor of the paint or some sort of solvent was intolerable. We moved to a third room, it was better but certainly not special. Decided to check out the next morning. Did check out, but the hotel does not give a refund so we paid for 2 unused nights. Not a pleasant experience at this hotel, the rest of Spain was terrific.

This hotel is very central. My room was plesant- I was only staying for a night and needed somewhere to relax. Close to everything. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

It is little hotel in a small corner street. The room was tiny, the staff was not friendly, knowledgeable or helpful. We had booked a triple room and were very crammed with one double bed and an extremely uncomfortable and tiny sofa bed. Not great value for money. The upside about this hotel is its location. It is located close to the main shopping area in Seville and is a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral and the Palacio Real.

Located in the centro, 10 mins walk to cathedral and most major sites. Hotel very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast at 12 euros each. Loads of fresh strawberries! and omelettes made to order. Hotel is old palace with lovely courtyard and interesting restaurant layout.

This is a really nice hotel, beautifully laid out around small 'courtyards'. Although the bar area is a bit hidden away you can sit out in pretty covered areas and service was excellent. Much nicer than the very large hotel we stayed in previously and half the price .

we booked this hotel because we had a rental car. but when we got there, there were no spaces -- and subsequent guests had the same problem, too. Don't say there's a garage or parking if there's not. It's inaccurate and even deceptive. And parking in Seville is truly at a premium.

I really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Cervantes. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air condisioning. Staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel is in a good central location, but a map to navagate the city is a must.

Nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, and for 1 night it was an okay option. However it's very bland and nothing at all to speak of in terms of character. Room and facilities were OK, but if you appreciate something with character and charm i'd look for somewhere in Santa Cruz. Also it's a bit out of the way, maybe 5-10mins.

Love the courtyards inside this hotel. Limited internet access (only in a small room of the hotel) made it a bit difficult for my work - -but overall very great place. Wonderful breakfast included!

Very nice hotel, with a good location in Sevilla. But our room was next to the entrance of the garage, so after 5 AM we did not get much sleep.

This holel is good, but if you want to use its wireless internet, you need to be in a certain location within it. It is easy to get to. basically you need to sit in a bar type room

This hotel was conventiently located in Sevilla. It is within comfortable walking distance to the main attractions in Sevilla. The staff was very attentive, courteous, and helpful. I had been to Sevilla on 2 other occasions. This hotel is my favorite. I will stay here again.

Hotel Cervantes is not exactly in the heart of Seville, but it is very close. It's a 5 minute walk to the major attractions (Bario de Santa Cruz, bullfighting ring, Cathedral) and adjacent to the shopping district. It has a very pleasant courtyard with fountains, etc. that is a great place to share a bottle of wine and relax. Small rooms, but comfortable and clean.

The hotel was very nice, clean and had excellent service. Wireless internet is available but only accessible if you have your own computer and only works in one room of the hotel. The location of the hotel is in close proximity to the city center, but is extremely difficult to find, even with a GPS system and we had to resort to asking people directions and following people there. Although driving to the street is possible, no taxies would take us there, because of the difficult driving conditions. They also only offer rooms for two people. Families must get more than one room. The streets were very narrow and had sharp turns. Despite this, the hotel was very good, just be prepared to carry your luggage for a few blocks and set aside time to find the hotel.

The hotel was very nice once we fostrsund it. We gave up in the afternoon and picked up someone who lived in the city for the evening. We spent well over an hour and a half (our whole first night) driving in circles trying to find the hotel. We finally found a sign and it was telling you to go down a street right above a do not enter and we were lost again. If you get dropped off it's a great hotel.

Well placed hotel in old quarter and only 10 minutes easy walk to main attractions ie Cathedral, Giralda, shops etc. Pleasant courtyard within hotel and good bar for snacks etc. Friendly and efficient staff. Recommended

Good value. High quality rooms and service. Helpful staff. Acceptable restaurant. Quiet location. Bit of a way out but still walkable. Nice stay. Easy access to THursday flea market.

My husband and I stayed just one night at this hotel on our way from one city to another. The staff was VERY nice and helpful. They also spoke good english! They allowed us to check in very early (around 1 pm) which was nice. The hotel has parking also, which was convenient. The hotel and the room were fine (in line with their rating and the price) since we really didn't spend much time there.

Even though the hotel was under renovation while we were there, everything was clean and orderly. The hotel staff was excellent!

the room was tiny, the double beds were not ideal for a romantic getaway, the staff was short tempered

Worth the price

Horrible odor from the bathroom. Room was small and cramped as was the bathroom. Front desk not particularly helpful and slightly insulting. Way overpriced for the quality. Worst hotel we stayed in during our trip and twice as much as the next most expensive one. Don't go here.

excellent 3 star hotel, friendly service extremely helpful, excellent buffet breakfast. very clean and well presented. good position television reception and range of programmes poor. more information needed in rooms particularly bar and food availability and prices

Hyggelig hotell veldig sentralt. Nydelig "bakhage" med rislende vann og åpen himmel. Sherry til gjestene på hotellets regning var en hyggelig gest. Gåavstand til shopping og restauranter og severdigheter. Frokost ikke inkludert, og du får mye god mat selv i kostbare Sevilla for 15 Euro pr person (pris for hotellfrokosten...) Ut å gå! Rent hotell, stilt og med stort godt bad. Vi var 2 voksne + tenåring på rommet, og selv om det ble litt trangt så gikk det bra. Treg service i resepsjonen - ble vist ut på "rundtur" i byen for å finne parkeringsplass siden hotellets garasje var full. Ikke safe på rommet. Beregn litt tid hvis du skal levere verdisaker til oppbevaring i resepsjonen.. Oppbevaringen er gratis men tok tid. Beregn god til til utsjekking også...

Les +: Situation géographique près du centre, accueil, propreté, petit déjeuner. Les -: Insonorisation inexistante, les jus de fruit au petit déjeuner qui sont de la poudre mélangée à de l'eau.

the hotel is in a quiet and strategical zone in Sevilla. It makes easier and more pleasant to visit the city. The crew is kind and discrete.

acceuil bien, très bel hôtel mais ne mérite pas 4 étoiles. beaucoup trop bruyant et pas de double vitrage .la salle de bain minuscule (a 2 on ne se bouge plus)sans rangement, ventilation bruyante.Peu d'espace dans la chambre pas de prise côté bureau. Impossible d'ouvrir au rdc car la chambre donne sur le patio, les gens voient tout depuis l'extérieur. Je donnerai un tout juste 3 étoiles. hôtel difficile d'accès (3/4 heure même avec gps, les rues sont minuscules et j'ai même été obligé de faire marche arrière je ne passai pas), garage minuscule peu de places et manoeuvres difficiles. couple 55 ans en vacances andalousie.

Hotellet er centralt beliggende - i gåafstand til det meste. Der er en god atmosfære og personalets service er helt i top. Her føler gæsten sig helt i centrum.

Hôtel très bien situé dans Séville permettant de se déplacer aisément à pied . Quelques petits soucis : chambre petite pour 3 personnes, ne correspondant pas au choix fait initialement ( 2 lits au lieu de 3 lits ), pièce où l'on prend les petits déjeuners est trop petite par rapport au nombre de chambres: on doit attendre! les tables sont contigues, pas d'intimité, et un des serveurs s'occupant des petits déjeuners est fort malaimable. Il y eut un problème quant au coût du petit déjeuner, on m' a annoncé un prix en arrivant le soir, 7E50 et le lendemain il a été tarifé à 12E, ce qui est fort cher par rapport à la qualité du petit déjeuner ( pas de jus de fruit frais, mais chimique ) . Quant au coktail de bienvenue , impossible de le décaler , même si on arrive tard le soir ! pas de souplesse, et le tout dit sur un ton très limite, au bar .

Accueil gentil et efficace, bâtiment plein de charme, belle chambre, calme.

Nette kamer. Badkamer misschien wat krap. Lekker ontbijtbuffet. Vriendelijk personeel, ook in voor een geintje. Verken het hotel en ontdek leuke patio's. 15 à 20 minuten lopen naar de kathedraal.

Heerlijke bedden, het tweepersoons bed was twee meter breed!
