Mestre se considera la ciudad dormitorio de Venecia, en la que viven la mayoría de los trabajadores y a la que regresan cada noche a través del agua. Aunque no tiene el típico ambiente veneciano, se encuentra a tan sólo 10 km del aeropuerto Marco Polo y representa una ciudad base relativamente económica para explorar Venecia y el Véneto. El Canal Brenta, famoso por sus elegantes villas paladienses, desemboca en la laguna próxima a Mestre y se alarga por el oeste hacia la histórica ciudad universitaria de Padua.

excellent location to visit venice with large AC room excellent buffet at BF i should have stayed there when i first arrived then i would not have to drag my valises in venice streets. what a hassle

"Great hotel at one step ahead of Mestre station"

This hotel is really good by all means-only one step (literally one step) from the Mestre station, big, clean comfortable rooms. The hotel provides one hour of free internet wi-fi connection.I reached the hotel at 10 AM and they still gave me the key of my room. I am really satisfied in this hotel.

"Great base for Venice"

The Plaza hotel was easy to find [just a bus ride from the airport] and opposite the train station. Situated in the Mestre it was a 10 minute train ride from Venice. Our room was comfortable and bathroom was excellent.and breakfast was good with a varied choice from bacon and egg to fruit or pastries and cereal. Air conditioning was usefull and hotel reception were very friendly and helpful. We could afford a 2 star hotel in Venice or this 4 star one in the Mestre and i'm confident we made the right choice. OK - if money were no object it would be better to stay in Venice as we couldn't exactly come back for a shower before supper - but on our budget this hotel and location were excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Booked this hotel from Internet reader's reviews and I must say I wasnt disappointed. It is the perfect location at a reasonable cost for sightseeing to Venice. Ten yards from the station and only E1.00 to get in to the main center of Venice. Would definitely book this hotel again!!

"A dream vacation but a nightmare of a hotel"

The first to greet us in this hotel was a cockroach about 3 inches long. When we tried to tell the hotel staff about it, they brushed us off. Our next surprise came when we got to our room and it was barely large enough for us to walk around our beds - much different than what was pictured online. Also, the were doing construction on the hotel down the hall from us that woke us up very early in the morning. We're on vacation and wanted to sleep, but that was impossible with all the thumps and bumps. I've never been so disappointed!

L'Hotel si trova di fronte alla stazione di Mestre. Comodissimo per collegamenti con Venezia: c'è un treno circa ogni 10 min. l'ultimo da Venezia per Mestre è atttorno a mezzanotte. L'Hotel è un buon 4 stelle con stanze (la tripla) spaziose e pulite. Ottima la colazione di tipo continentale. Tornerei molto volentier di nuovoi per un'altra puntata a Venezia

Super-Lage gegenüber dem Bahnhof ohne zu laut zu sein und nur hundert Meter vom Transferbus ,actv, entfernt. Das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher ausfallen, ansonsten aber gut. Milchkaffee kann bestellt werden. Der Wi-Fi Point im Foyer hat nicht immer funktioniert, das Personal hat aber immer mit einem Reset weitergeholfen.

Très bien situé (bus pour l'aéroport et pour Venise,gare ferrovière, en face) prendre pass ACTV par internet. Personnel d'acceuil très à l'écoute en pls langues. Restaurant à conseiller, très serviable et de bonne qualité et quantité. Petit déjeuner en buffet bien garni. Chambre très propre et insonorisé. Mérite bien ses étoiles.

"Mycket bra läge när man skall pendla till Venedig"

Ett mycket rent och fint hotell, bra service.Frukosten som ingick var god, men vi saknade grovt matbröd. Läget på hotellet var perfekt eftersom vårt resmål var Venedig, ett stenkast från stationen. Prisvärt.!

Grosses sauberes Zimmer mit allem Komfort, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Lage des Hotels für Venedig-Besuch ideal: Flughafenbus direkt vor der Tür, Bus nach Venedig (P.Roma) auch vor dem Hotel, ca. 20.min. Fahrzeit.

Idéalement situé, juste en face de la gare (sans etre déranger par le bruit) pour accedéer à Venise en train. Personnel très sympatique, accueillant et parlant français !!! Super petit déj !!
