Loews Lake Las Vegas - Henderson

Although the trip was already prepaid, Loews Lake Las Vegas charges a separate "convenience fee" per night. This charge includes self parking, towels (for the pool), among others. The hotel staff were abrupt and unfriendly and the noise from a loud party shook the entire room from 9 pm -12:15 am. All in all, the entire experience was disappointing.

When we arrived, we absolutely feel in love with the hotel. Great staff, clean room with a great view and location. We felt comfortable leaving our dog in the room...No problems at all. The beach, pools, and the water slide made each afternoon a lot of fun.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings but very quiet - nothing happening on the lake. Pool service not up to standard, toilets near the pool out of order for the full stay. Rooms very nice and great price from Hotels.com.

Very much enjoyed my short stay at Loews Las Vegas. Grounds were immaculate, nice pool area and comfortable though not huge room. All personnel extemely polite and helpful. Would certainly return when I am looking for an off strip hotel. Had the opportunity for lunch and a dinner at Loews and both meals were 1st rate. Again a slower paced destination away from the hustle and bustle of the Las Veags Strip. If you are looking for that type of experience Lowes Las Vegas should be on your list of Las Vegas Hotels.

We were there, the weather was hot, but the kids pool provided plenty of umbrellas, shade trees, and a wait staff that was always there to take care of you. Clearly the economy has taken it's toll on the community of Lake Las Vegas but at the resort, you were still treated in first class style.

Great service and wonderful facilities. Especially the pool with one for the adults and one for the kids. Very clean. The only downside is that the location is 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip.

It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The view from our room was incredible! Very romantic! We did not close our curtains once during our stay..

Service and accommodations were excellent. I have already recommended Loews Las Vegas to friends and family. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel and amenities were definately 5 star! The location was the only drawback. The distance to the 'strip' is at least 30 minutes without traffic. Not the place to stay if your intention is to hit the 'strip' on a daily basis. A great place for the family, activites abound and the free shuttle to neighboring resorts/restaurants is definately a nice touch. The service and attention from the staff is A1 plus.

The village near the hotel is very nice place to hang out for dinning and entertainments. Sometimes they have outdoor concerts and movies.

It really is a great hotel. I love the 2 different pools, one for family's one for adults. (The could police it just a little better) The bed is really comfortable and the lake view is very nice. (You want to stay on a floor 6-8. The main floor is on 4, below that, it feels like people are walking by your room. Loved the 24 hour shuttle to get you down to the Village area and casino. It was nice to be removed from the crowds. I would go back anytime.

Great Hotel and amenities.

This is our 2nd trip here. Loews at Lake Las Vegas is like visiting another world...away from the noise of Casinos and into the lap of family luxury. Three lobby levels to enjoy a drink and appetizers and two levels outside with waterfalls and firepits and fire places. Amenities go beyond what any luxury hotel offers including boats, waterslide, 2 pools, water/land volleyball, basketball and tennis court, bike riding, access to a nearby village that offers entertainment and great food!

Only a few miles from the "strip". Completely secluded, surrounded by a lake and a golf course. Extremely clean with great customer service. I wised I had discovered it years ago!

Staff was very courteous. Great place for people travelling with children and for those with pets. Would not recommend for singles or couple without children.

The hotel is lovely and the facility overall is beautiful, the two swimming pools allow kids a place to play and adults a quiet spot. But Lake Las Vagas is very remote and without a car, there is really no way to go anywhere outside the hotel. My biggest complaint was the $22 per day resort fee. I really hate arriving to find that the hotel is really over 15% more than the advertised price, since it is not up to the customer to say that they don't want to pay this een if they do not plan on using any of the resort facilities, it is truly part of the price. So BEWARE the price they show is not the price you'll pay it is more.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel because my sister is getting married there in the spring. We all took a trip to visit and make arrangments for the wedding. The staff was fabulous, and the room was great. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. It is somewhat confusing to get to once you enter the resort property but onceyou get there its worth it.

We had a horrible time at this hotel. First we were "greeted" at the door by a rude valet. He held the door open and when we said thanks he didn't even acknowledge us. Mind you I came I and out a few times, each time I said thank you and he never said anything. Next we were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk. We then went to our room. The room was nice, not many complaits there. But the hallways, wow those need some work. Have they ever heard of a vaccuum? Gross! Dinner....ugh! The service couldn't have been worse for our $50 dinner of a club sandwich and a salad. First it took us over 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us for a table. Then we were seated by one of the buspersons and she was not very nice. Then it took over five minutes for our waiter to come to just take our drink order. It took over 20 minutes for us to get food! It wasn't even busy and our waiter liked to hide in the back. We had our 5 month old baby with us and we had to leave and I couldn't get the waiter so we could take our food to go. I had to get one of the other waiters to get him. When he came out with the food finally he was rude "so u decided you wanted to take your food to go?". I said no our baby needs a nap. He just looked at me. That night we were awakened by very loud people in the hallway partying! What?!?! So I called the front desk and they sent someone up and put the people in their rooms. Not like the noise stopped then. Later that night we were awakened again but by dogs barking. They allow pets in this hotel. But three dogs barking in the middle of the night? We got up and left first thing in the morning. At checkout the lady at the desk didn't even ask how our visit was. I'm sure she didn't want to know. We would never return to this hotel nor another lowes.

The hotel could use some cleaning of the elevators, halls and rooms. We stayed during a Hip-Hop contest. That we didn't know about until arriving at the hotel. I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this by far was the noisiest hotel.

Beautiful property in an amazing resort on Lake Las Vegas. Hotel includes several restaurants, a small beach on the lake, two swimming pools (including one exclusively for grown-ups), spa and fitness center.

Perfect hotel for boaters. Rates were reasonable and location is 20 minutes from the strip and 20 minutes from the launch ramp. Great place to come back to after a long day on the water. Also has some of the best room service food I've ever had. We'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a mini vacation (one night) away from all the hub in Las Vegas. We wanted to go somewhere that wasn't going to cost us an arm and a leg but was still relatively close (no long three hour drive) to home. Lowes was the perfect getaway resort. Beautiful decor, excellent staff members and two amazing pools (with waterslide) made this mini vacation perfect! When we wanted to get out on the town, the hotel provided a shuttle over to the neighboring MonteLago Village where there was a wide range of restaurants to chose from. All-in-all, this beautiful resort style hotel was well worth its weight in gold.

We really enjoyed our visit and will return again, and again.

Everything in this hotel is an extra cost above & beyond the room rate. $22 per night Resort Fee, $15 per night Valet, Rental fees for almost everything you do...... If you're ok with all the extra fees, you will love this resort. They have a ton of things to offer and great for family vacations or romantic getaways.

Great value for the money - everything you could dream of under one roof!

My favorite hotel. I am reluctant to tell anyone because I don't want it to get too popular, but I must say anyone who visits would be completely satisfied.

My wife and I chose to stay at Loews for our 2nd anniversary and it did not disappoint. Our favorite part was that it was in a secluded area away from the strip so it made it nice to be there during the day. However, it was close enough to the strip that we could drive there in 15 minutes or so. Overall it was a wonderful stay and atmosphere.

For 10 years we always stayed at the Ritz Carlton in LLV - then by chance they were booked so we tried the Loews and we have never gone back to the Ritz since. The Loews has: a beautifully decorated Morrocan theme, great room service, fabulous Marssa Restaurant - pan asian menu, delicious breakfast buffets on the weekends at Ricks Cafe, multiple swimming pools, walk-in sand beach swimming area, and gorgeous outdoor areas by a huge water feature where you can relax with family or friends - or view the peaceful Lake Las Vegas. You can check-in and never leave the facility - they have it all.

Beautiful property. However, room on the same floor as children still screaming at midnight and a little yappy high-pitched dog that wouldn't stop barking all the next morning. A call to "star" service did nothing to shut up the dog. Resort fee misleading. Hotels.com stated $15.00 per night that included Valet. However, the fee was $22.00 PLUS an ADDITIONAL fee of $15.00 if a guest wanted to use Valet.

Great views and nice hotel. It is about 30 minutes from the "Strip", but there is gambling locally as well with low minimums.

I went with my wife and my 2 year old and we had a fantastic time. The hotel is very kid friendly. Upon arrival, they gave us a toy for our child. The pool has a water slide and nice beach area to play with sand toys. Saturday nights you can roast smores with your kids. The only negative was that the hotel food was average. Everything else was fantastic!

I've always thought that Vegas was just "the party city"...but my goodness...i never expected such a relaxing environment!!! My fiance' and I had to plan a trip to Vegas because my younger brother was throwing a baby shower and so my fiance' went online to book a hotel at the last minute. He's the more high quality hotel type of person...so he found a hotel with a lake. I thought he was lying...I never knew there was even anything with WATER besides pools in Vegas!!! LOL...but come to find out it's man made!! I didn't think it would be as nice as the pictures (they never really are) but when we got there....I WAS SHOCKED!!! It's beautiful!!! Overall...my stay there was wonderful and highly reccomend that everybody should stay there if they are looking for R&R. I'm planning another trip really soon and will be staying there again!!!!!

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are exceptional. I was looking for a relaxing weekend and that what this resort offers. If you want the hustle and night life of Vegas, stay on the strip. If you want a relaxing resort vacation this is the place. Desiree at the front desk was awesome. I hurt my back a week earlier and was looking for a room that was on the ground floor and easy for me to walk to and from the pool and beach. She put me in room 1007, looking out over the lake and beach with a beautiful patio. I have a 5 year old son and there were lots of activities for children of all ages. Smore's by the fire, movie by the pool, miniature golf, basketball, tennis, scavenger hunts, and a water slide. There are two pools, an adult pool and a activity pool. There is a 24 hour (free) shuttle that provides transportation to the village which has shops,a casino, an irish pub, and a few other restaurants.

The hotel staff was very nice, no lines at the check in, room was a good size and clean.

Very pleased. My only problems were with internet in the room.

Outstanding hotel with very good service. A family friendly environment. Location is good, away from the hustle and crazyness of the city. Very quiet and restful. My only criticism is the resort fee which should be part of the quoted price and not an add-on.
