Wedgewood Hotel - Londres

Decent hotel with very close proximity to to underground stations so you have easy access to every corner of london with the tube. However, the double room i shared with my gf was too tiny for 2. Only one person could move about at a time. Also, probly not a good hotel to go to in the summer cuz even tho i went in mid-september the room was still really hot. all in all its good enough for a short stay trip in a quiet but central location.

It would have been nice to check in anytime instead we had to check-in at 2pm. The first room that was allocated to me really stank, but I asked for another room and was given it without any fuss. The room was really small, it was a small double bed, my partner and I were fighting for space. The room was extremely hot, it had no air con, we had to keep the window open at all times. This didn't help. Breakfast was very basic, self service, toast, cereal, coffee tea, orange juice. Not very appetizing. Staff very helpful, room clean, would have liked the bedding changed everyday, like the towels were.

The hotel was convenient for the tube and was very clean. The receptions in all cases were vet friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and was open the whole time. It was in a relatively quiet area. One of the rooms our fami;y occupied had a damaged window that had not been repaired and as that window opened onto the street caused some anxiety for one of the occupants. The breakfast wash total waste of time and was quite the worst I had ever been served in any hotel in over 40 years. On the whole I would not recommend this to some one who wished to spend any time in the hotel as it had no general rooms.

arrived after a long trip only to find the bed arangements not as we asked 3 single beds was told that nothing else was available until the next day. so my son and I slept in a double bed and my daughter in the single. poor customer service tv not tuned in and poor picture, when moved the next day tv poor and no remote.on leaving didnt ask how we were and no thanks for staying with us. Will never recomend this hotel.

The room I stayed was in very poor condition. Everything in the room was very old and not clean. There was no air conditioning, and electrical fan nether. The room temperature was was about 35℃ at daytime and 28℃ at night. It was too hot to stay there in summer time, and I couldn’t sleep well. The bathroom was very small, and the shower only got a little bit water comes out, and I couldn’t take a proper shower. I do believe this hotel is not suitable for any people who look for a comfortable hotel.

Well the Hotel its kind of well located, but what is not good is the treatment of the receptionists working there. They dont know what to answer when asked about things referred to the hotel, prices, and also not when you need some information about tourists places in London. The rooms are not that nice and the beds... well they should think about changing those matress! Sorry but, this time the hotel wasnt what i was expecting.

the room is boiling and the staff are very unhelpful... the worst hotel i've ever stayed. Cheap but really not recommended

This hotel was found at the last moment to tide us over after a change of plans. We found it to be clean, well-situated and affordable. The staff people are helpful, and the area is a nice mix of shops, pubs and reidences in a quiet area of London. Our room WAS tiny and the doors seemed to fight with each other as to the way they opened, clashing with each other unless you were careful. The bathrooms were newly refurbished, nicely designed, and the water was nice and hot in the shower. But the room was so tight that I kept bashing my leg on a cupboard while turning in bed. Don't choose this hotel for a romantic getaway or if you expect luxurious accomodations. Otherwise it's not a bad place to stay for the money.

This hotel is pretty basic but good for the price. The room is comfortable, we thought there wasn't a bathroom but it was actually n one of the cupboards. Our room was on the 4th floor but the lift didn't go to that floor! The train station is really close.

Stayed mid-week for an evening out... the carpets were fraying, the walls stained the staff grumpy. 'Breakfst' consisted of cornflakes and toaster.

Clean room. No shower rail. LCD TV fixed on the wall without tilt so unable to watch from bed due to angle! No Remote control. Room allocated in the basement even though early to arrive! no choice was given. Basic Breakfast. smokey toaster chased us out the breakfast room. OK for a sleep.

To be honest for the money i paid for the hotel i didn't expect much, but i was pleasently suprised. The room was spacious enough for the two of us, clean enough and the the bathroom was very nice. The hotel staff were friendly and helped out where they could although several members of staff despite not recognising us passed over our room key without hesitation which i found a bit disturbing. But location and hotel itself was great for a cheap night in london

The hotel is in a bust suburb, and it is what it says on the tin, it is handy for local amenities or to travel into the city, parking is a bit of a nightmare, i had to pay £24 for an overnight stay in the NCP nearby.

this hotel looked nice from the outside and reception area too. but wen we got into the tiny lift we started to worry! we got to our room to find the following: ~paint peeling on the walls ~loose plaster on the walls ~lock and handle on bathroom broken ~broken light shades ~bad paint cracks/peeling in shower apart from this we had a good stay and beds were comfy. if u dont mind about the state of decor then this place is ok!

Broken furnitures, dirty and dark underground room, I cannot believe this is a three-star-hotel.

The hotel has got a good location near the city centre.10 minutes to Bayswater tube station. The price of the room is the cheapest in the area.

I booked this room at a last minute rate and it was well worth the money I paid. It was a twin room with a window over a private garden. The hotel was a bit run down, but much nicer than others in the vicinity. Service was very friendly.

Good location but quality of accomodation was poor, small rooms with old fashioned bedding the smallest lift i have ever seen generally in dire need of refurbishment

The beds are very old. The bathroom was clean but the towels was old, need be replaced like the beds. The breakfast was nothing special, toasts, butter and jams. Nice cost&benefits.

Was the cutest little room with a beautiful view!! Tea and coffee kept on hand for your drinking pleasure. Nice and close to the cute little shopping district of Bayswater..wi Would definetely stay here again!!

It wasn't that good, as the homepage suggested.. But it was okay, and cheap..

Hotellet ligger bra till och ganska centralt . Dock var rummet väldigt litet och man hörde allting som pågick ute i korridoren (inga lister). Frukosten var bara rostat bröd med marmelad inget pålägg alls. Toaletten var liten men dög (inbyggd i fd garderob)

Bezproblémové ubytování a vyřizování formalit. Působí zastaralým dojmem, ale udržovaný (neblýská se ale funguje). Malinkatý pokoj, potřeboval by vymalovat a vyměnit koberec. Ale pokud nejsi nóbl, přespíš v čistém povlečení a osprchuješ se ve funkční malé umyté koupelně. Pokud v pokoji něco rušivě bzučí je to malý trezor (elektromagnet uvnitř), ze kterého, ale vytáhni baterie a je po problému. Ulice pod oknem je klidná. (Ráno jen uklízecí vůz) Velmi špatná byla ale snídaně. Na toastovač se stojí řada k dispozici jsou jen cornflaky, marmeláda, máslo, džus, čaj, kafe. (Vejce, slanina neexistuje, aspoň ji nikdo nenabízel).

Tatt prisen i betraktning er det helt ok. Nærme Notting Hill .

oppbevaringssafe virker ikke, tv virker ikke- får beskjed om allt er gammelt i London og derfor ikke fungerer. Flekkete filt. Resepsjonen smiler ikke. Allt iallt- billig og dårlig. Men sentralt

l'hôtel est bien situé! nous avons tout fait à pied! A environ 1h à pied de buckingham palace et du Big Ben. sinon la chambre a sa salle de bain, ce qui est le plus de cet hôtel (la plupart ayant toilettes et salle de bain commune). La chambre est petite mais propre, le ménage est fait tous les jours. Par contre le petit déjeuner est assez restreint (taost et corn flakes qui n'ont pas l'air appétissant). Dans l'ensemble, nous sommes assez satisfait de cet hôtel!

positief:schoon, fraaie, rustige buurt, negatief: raam was niet open te krijgen, geen telefoon naar de balie, handdoeken vergeten, veel te kleine lift, heel slecht ontbijt (oploskoffie, lange rij voor de toaster), sleetse tapijten.

rien à dire, chambre propre, WC et salle de bain aussi.. à part la douchette...

Les bons points: Le personnel est aimable et disponible pour toute question concernant l'hotel ou non. Le petit déj est tout à fait correct. A proximité d'une rue commerçante animée. Les mauvais points: Impossible de dormir convenablement l'été: une clim extérieure faisant un bruit épouvantable + odeurs d'essence toutes les 15 minutes + chaleur. La lumière de la salle de bain qui s'éteint sans prévenir, impossible de la rallumer avant une bonne demi-heure. Des bestioles non désirées sont apparues de temps en temps.

Dejligt centralt hotel tæt på undergrundsbanen. Værelset var meget småt og sengen var ikke alt for god. Morgenmaden begrænset og svært at få et bord. Men ellers var hotellet fint og vi kan sagtens finde på at bruge det igen.

Vi fik et værelse i kælderen til tre personer med eget bad og toilet. En meget smal dobbeltseng og en enkeltseng . Meget dårlige madrasser, fjedrene kunne mærkes meget tydeligt igennem. Der var et lille vindue som førte ud til et lagerrum i køkkenet, så det var ikke muligt at få frisk luft til værelset. Derimod var der masser af støj fra køkkenet allerede klokken halv syv om morgenen. Morgenmad var inkluderet, men der var for lidt pladser og det bestod kun af cornflakes med mælk, ristet brød med fire slags marmelade, juice, kaffe og the.

Väldigt bra läge med gångavstånd till det mesta. Servicen från personalen var inte den bästa. När jag t.ex. frågade om vad jag som allergiker kunde äta vid frukosten verkade de inte vilja hjälpa till. Frukosten var väldigt sparsam. Men annars helt OK. Man får vad man betalar för.

Ingen plads, ingen parkering -medmindre du vil parker ved et nærliggende supermarked til 50 pund i døgnet, toilet i et "klædeskab", utæte enkeltglas vinduer.

le - : acceuil desagreable, chambre pas tres propre (il ne change pas les draps pendant tous le séjours, douche bouchée, pas de brosse pour nettoyer les toilettes, le mur salle) éviter londres quant il fait chaud car chambres tres petites et pas de climatisation. le + : proche de hyde park, quartier tres animé = pour le prix que c'est, faut pas s'attendre à du grand luxe

Hôtel très bien situer, quartier calme, boutique et métro à proximité. Chambre petite mais propre et agréable. Je le conseil à tout jeune ou personne voulant aller a Londres avec un budget modeste car le prix est justifié.

Fleckige Decken, undichte Fenster, Lärm in der Nacht, Wasser, das durch die Decke tropft und Servicemitarbeiter, die nicht mit den Gästen reden. Immerhin nicht weit von UBahn und Hyde Park. Für den Preis hätte man in London nichts besseres erwarten dürfen, nächstes Mal nehme ich aber dennoch lieber ein Hostel, da dürfte es wesentlich bessere Exemplare geben...

We arrived 1.30 PM and we could absolutley not check in before 2 PM. No "Oh, I´m sorry" or anything like that.. The receptionist was really rude the whole stay. The rooms were pretty funny too. You actually had to press yourself against the wall to get any water on you in the shower! There were also a lot of noise coming from the other rooms and the street. The most awful thing about the hotel was however the breakfast. Sugar cereal and jam was the only thing on the meny, the toast was burnt and there was no service at all. I will never go there again!

albergo carino confortevole e poco distante dalla fermata della tube di notting hill. Ottimo x ki sta tutto il giorno fuori e torna solo x dormirci. Le stanze sono minuscole ma possiedono i confort necessari(bagno cn doccia asciugacapelli tv e macchinetta x il tè). servizi igienici abbastanza puliti. La colazione è esigua (solo dolce). Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Personale gentile

Det er et lille - lidt slidt hotel. Vi fik ikke morgenmad og kan derfor ikke udtale os om denne, men selve værelset var meget lille men rent og med nyt badeværelse. Dejligt at der var mulighed for at kunne drikke en kop kaffe eller te på værelset. Hotellet ligger i et rimeligt roligt kvarter, ganske tæt på undergrundsstationen og det er let at komme dertil.

Hotellet låg på ett bra område. Inte mycket trafik. Hade bokat ett rum för fyra men fick dela på oss. Rummen var små. Hyfsat rena i allafall. Städades varje dag. Lite si och så med tvål och shampo så ta med eget. Personalen i receptionen sa inte mycket och tittade knappt upp på en. Frukosten var sparsam men fyllde sin funktion

Nära tunnelbana, restauranger och shopping, så det kändes väldigt centralt. Små och enkla rum, väldigt lyhört och trafikerad gata utanför. Kändes ändå rent och fräscht. Bra pris för en vistelse 2-3 nätter.

hotellet er god til overnatning. værelset var lille, badeværelset meget lille, men rene og det fungerede. morgenmaden var ok, men meget lille udvalg.

la ns camera era pulita, il bagno addirittura con doccia (al posto della scomodissima vasca), cambio asciugamani shampoo e saponette quotidiano; ascensore piccolissimo ma comodo, 5 min a piedi dalla metro di bayswater. unico neo:siamo arrivati previo avviso telefonico alle 2 di notte e non ci hanno aperto neanche dopo mezz'ora continua di campanello! tra un pò buttavamo giù la porta, ma niente, ci han lasciati fuori %S. alla fine, ci han rimborsato i soldi spesi per dormire nell'hotel di fronte. peccato, perchè per il basso costo ed i servizi offerti, sarebbe stato veramente un'ottima soluzione!!

Vi bodde på detta hotell i 2 nätter och vi var nöjda med våran vistelse. Rummen var inte de bästa men godkända iallafall. Badrummet var nyrenoverat och jättefräscht. Det ligger helt okej inte långt från notting hill gate och vi tog lätt en buss därifrån in till stan. Frukosten var i enklaste laget. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam, vi fick lämna vårat bagage där efter att vi checkat ut och de fixade en buss till flygplatsen.

Gemytligt trots litet rum. Välkomnande med trevligt bemötande. Undanskymt bra läge nära affärer, restauranter och folkliv.

Morgenmaden bestod af Nescafé, cornflakes og toastbrød. Der var kun marmelade og smør til at komme på, og man skulle stå i kø meget længe for at få ristet brødet! Det var koldt på værelset, da man kun får et tæppe; ingen dyne. Men vi vr også afsted sidst i november. Virkelig god beliggenhed i gå-afstand til Portobello Road, Kensington Gardens mv

La posizione è ottimale. L'albergo ha dei corridoi stretti e camere molto piccole ma accettabili. Se si è fortunati di stare al primo piano si gode delle grandi finestre. La colazione invece è nel piano sotterraneo insieme ad altre buie stanze. Il personale gentile.

l'hôtel est vraiment médiocre. les avantages : la proximité du centre et des transports, la beauté du quartier. mais la chambre mesure 4m², on a vu sur des chambres douteuses (maison close) le petit déjeuner est bâclé, il y a très peu de choix juste du pain de mie bas de gamme avec des kellocks jaunâtre chimiques. Ils vérifient nos allées et venues car nous devons retirer la clé à l'accueil à chaque venue et ne pas rentrer après minuit. Et pour info, en l'occurrence il s'agit d'un détail mais pas négligeable, nous étions au 4ème et l'ascenseur fonctionnait une fois sur 3.
